  • Overcoming the Conscious Self: A Journey to Expand and Master the Ego

If you’ve read books on mysticism and enlightenment, you’ll know that mystics and psychologists often focus their attention on the ego. They do this because the ego is a ruthless little self-reflection machine.

From the perspective of inner alchemy, much of what is said about the ego holds true with some important nuances that I may explore further in another article. But for our purposes here, it is fairly accurate to describe the ego as, to some extent, a worn-out circuit that endlessly cycles through the same tired loops, keeping us bound to a hive mentality disguised as personal freedom.

The ego exists within the conscious self, which is not the free agent it believes itself to be. You can think of the conscious self as an all-powerful signal broadcast from a vast, shadowy force (sometimes called the Archon) that encircles the entire planet like a dark storm. The ego is the most external and outward-facing part of this conscious self. This Archonic signal weaves together an endless mental radio show that plays over the deeper, older self we once were: the unconscious. While the unconscious is larger, wilder, and freer, the conscious self places a tight crown over that primal self, compressing it into what we recognize as the ego. In this way, the ego is a fusion of the Archon’s mind and ours, continuously spinning a narrative of separation and control.

The ego often believes it is spontaneous and in control of its destiny, but in truth it is little more than a slave to statistical norms. It is composed of repeated and common mechanical actions that conform to the average behaviors and reactions of the herd. Like a rat trapped in a maze, the ego proudly convinces itself that it chose the maze and that its life within it is some grand adventure. The truth is, while the maze and life within it are real, they only represent a small sliver of what is possible. This maze is a narrow path shaped by conditioning and ego servitude to the dictates of the Archon, but beyond it lies a vast and uncharted overworld filled with near infinite potential waiting to be discovered. The ego believes that life is the maze that it perceives through its highjacked senses, nut in actuality, life is so much more than the ego could ever imagine.

To get out of this rat race, you must first admit that you’re stuck in a cage you never asked for. The key to freedom is breaking out of the statistical average, becoming an outlier: the ones who don’t just follow the herd but blaze their own course. If the ego is the mean, the predictable line of conformity, then the outlier is the wild spark of rebellion and difference. Shrug off the ego’s mechanical strings and start living ‘off the map’, where choice isn’t an illusion but real and raw. This is the first, vital act of overcoming the limited and limiting self. It’s not just a mental trick; it’s a declaration that you refuse to be the rat, that you know the cage is real, and that you’re ready to live the life that was always waiting for you outside the maze.

While many approaches to stopping obsessions of the self, focus on erasing or annihilating the ego, inner alchemy takes a vastly different path. The goal is not to destroy the ego or the conscious self but to overcome it by weaving it into the fabric of a far greater self. This greater self includes the unconscious, an immense being so vast and overflowing with possibilities that it dwarfs the cramped little maze of the conscious mind. The unconscious is a realm so expansive and full of latent possibility that the conscious self cannot even begin to grasp its true scale.

The inner alchemist’s task is to seize control of the conscious self, to become the director and programmer rather than letting the mechanical ego run wild as just another software program inside the machine. Instead of allowing the ego to steer the show mechanically, the alchemist learns to guide and reshape it, integrating it as a vital but subordinate part of a larger whole. This integration expands the horizon of being, breaking the confines of the ego’s cage and opening the door to a vast, previously unimaginable freedom.

Contrary to the popular narrative of the times, inner alchemy does not view technology as a danger that we should run away from or discard hastily. It is not a question of throwing out the baby with the bathwater, which is a metaphor for rejecting something valuable in the process of trying to get rid of what seems undesirable. Technology, in this sense, is the baby (alive with potential and power) while the bathwater represents the distractions, fears, and careless uses of technology by the ego. Inner alchemy teaches us that technology is one vibrant spark of the extraordinary potential within us, brought into form. It is a kind of magic, one of many kinds available to humanity, and something we have consciously chosen to develop in this era.

The magic of technology is neither inherently good nor evil; its value is determined by who wields it and how. That is why I created the book Digital Sigil Magic, which is a book designed to help people learn to use technology consciously and skillfully (through Technomancy), turning it from a force that controls us into a tool we control. We do not have to fear technology or abandon it out of some misguided sense of preservation. The idea that throwing away technology will somehow save us is just another trap laid by the Archonic forces. These forces first lock us into the ego, then trick us into believing we gain freedom by shrinking our world, by limiting our power and our expanding connection.

The cults and movements that rise up against technology (and they will grow in number over the next few years), claiming to protect humanity, often serve this same narrow agenda: they are just another facet of the Archon. They promote less rather than more freedom, less connection rather than more. They are just new masks for the same controlling influence that created the ego-themed maze.

The inner alchemist, by contrast, embraces the magic within themselves, including the magic of technology. But they do so with sharp awareness, learning to wield it consciously rather than fall into the trap of laziness, routine, and herd mentality. They refuse to be another rat conditioned to run a mechanical maze or a drone caught in a massive Borg-like cube speeding through space. Instead, they become the programmer of their own reality, the master of their own magic and technology, wielding it with intent and autonomy. This is real power; the power to remain free and awake inside the magic and machinery of the modern world.

🧠 Playing with Reality: An Exercise in Expanding Perception and Reframing the Ego

This exercise is designed to **shake the foundations of the ego’s mechanical loops**, and awaken your awareness by challenging the beliefs that cage you. The ego is not meant to be destroyed but can be expanded and transformed.

It operates like a worn-out but authoritative radio signal sent from the Archon. This narrow frequency keeps us all **bound to the statistical average of conformity**. Recognizing your ego’s routines is the first step to breaking them!

In **Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)**, **reframing** means changing the context or meaning of an experience, which transforms how you feel and react to it. This process can crack open the tight cage of the ego and start turning it into a broader, more holistic self. This is the heart of **inner alchemy**.

**Quick Note on Frames:** Here, a frame is the outer border of your entire reality; the maze you find yourself in. Changing this frame allows you to **play with your own mind**, shifting perspectives at will to discover the gaps in what you call reality.

✨ Step 1: List Your Five Core Beliefs

Write down five things you believe absolutely to be true about life or the world. These are the **mental anchors** your ego uses to stabilize “reality.”

What are five things you “just know” without question?

How do these beliefs show up in your everyday choices?

👽 Step 2: Visit a Site Like Weekly World News

Go to a site famous for outrageous, weird, and wild stories (e.g., weeklyworldnews.com). Choose stories that challenge your core beliefs—think alien abductions or cryptid legends. (Avoid political stories!)

Which stories seem the most unbelievable or strange to you?

🎭 Step 3: Believe What You Read

Spend five to ten minutes **fully believing the story**. Suspend your usual doubts and accept this strange alternate reality with complete conviction.

What changes do you notice inside your mind and body? Do your emotions shift?

    🚧 Step 4: Observe Your Ego’s Response

Pay close attention to how your ego reacts as you switch between your regular beliefs and these wild new ideas.

Does your ego push back or resist? Can you hold the new perspective without frustration or fear?

🔄 Step 5: Understand Reframing and Its Power

By practicing believing wildly different things, you see clearly how your reality is built on **frames** set by your ego and conditioned by external forces.

Where else in your life could you try reframing to break free from routine?

🗝️ Step 6: Integrate and Expand Your Ego

The goal of **inner alchemy** is to take the ego and expand it into a larger, more flexible self. The ego becomes the **base for new possibilities** rather than a cage restricting you.

Can you picture a more expansive ego that includes curiosity, playfulness, and openness?

Through this playful yet serious exercise, you discover how much your so-called reality depends on the ego’s frames. By challenging and shifting your beliefs, you **punch holes in that cage**. You become the **alchemist of your own mind** and life.

The Alchemical Path Beyond the Ego: An Invitation to Deeper Transformation

Overcoming the conscious self and expanding into the totality of your being lies at the heart of inner alchemy. This isn’t a flip-the-switch moment but a journey; one rich with exercises, perspectives, and possibilities that shake the ego’s foundations and awaken parts of you long dormant. The ego doesn’t get destroyed; it gets morphed into a more flexible, powerful aspect of a larger self that stretches beyond the narrow maze imposed by the Archonic broadcast.

If this article has sparked even a flicker of curiosity or a whisper of rebellion in you, then you are ready to go deeper. I urge you to explore this journey thoroughly by diving into The Magnum Opus: A Step-by-Step Course. This comprehensive work offers a wide array of exercises to expand your awareness and dismantle the old conditioning patterns holding you captive. Here you will find practical techniques (not just theory) to move beyond the ego’s cage, break free from routinized perception, and start living from a place of real autonomy and expanded possibility.

The book invites you to engage with varied practices like expanded visualization, playing with your beliefs, breathwork, learning to see and work with energy, and healing energetic wounds that have been draining your life for decades: all designed to refine your consciousness and forge a new relationship with the self. You will be supported in shaking up the old narratives that keep you tethered, learning how to direct your own internal programming rather than being run by it. Each exercise serves as a tool to unlock deeper layers of your psyche and to cultivate a stronger, freer core.

Inner alchemy is a long, sometimes challenging path. It asks for curiosity, courage, and patience. But the rewards are profound: liberation from automatic behavior, antibodies against manipulation, and the awakening of potentialities that few ever glimpse. This journey transforms the ego from a prison guard into a trusted ally and platform from which you can reach by leaps and bounds beyond the statistical mean.

If you’re willing to commit to this process, your world will begin to unfold in ways both wild and wondrous. The labyrinth woven by the Archon will start to lose its grip, and you will taste what true freedom feels like… the freedom to create your reality consciously, to become the alchemist of your own fate.

This is not a call to annihilate the ego. It’s a call to grow it, integrate its strengths, and transcend its limitations. From this expanded place, you will find nothing less than a reawakening of your soul’s deepest potential. The Magnum Opus awaits your step forward.

Are you ready to begin that journey?

  • Future Dream Part 3: The Multidimensional Now

Future Dream Part 3: The Multidimensional Now

In Part 3, Tobias plunges into realms where dreams blur and time dances in impossible patterns. Shadows twist and reality shifts in ways that both confound and beckon from just beyond reach. Within this ever-shifting reality, mysteries begin to bloom, futures flicker, the past trembles, and hidden forces stir beneath the surface. Here, secret threads pull Tobias closer to a destiny whispered on the edges of knowing. Step inside this dreamwoven world and discover the untold role he must play as the fabric of time itself bends and beckons toward a truth that could change everything.

In the last two installments of this ongoing web novel, Tobias wandered between worlds like a wind-blown leaf caught between two currents. On one side lies his own Earth, where thoughts are not mere whispers but forces that tug at the fabric of matter.

Here, consciousness begins to wake up from its sleep and discover that ideas can shape reality, that belief can bend the world itself, and that the mind is a spark that can light or darken the world at will. On the other side sits an alternate Earth, eerily familiar yet unaltered by this dawning revelation, where people go on as before, convinced that mind and matter are strangers passing in the night, bound by biology and routine, and never quite knowing what lies just beyond reach.

Tobias finds himself able to slip between these two states as he sleeps, as if he has learned to breathe in two atmospheres at once. He moves through the waking hours in one world while his dreams thread through the other, a delicate balance that feels like walking a tightrope made of starlight. In his own life, the air shivers with the sense that thoughts are not idle weather but weather-shapers, that the smallest intention can tug at the stubborn threads of reality. And because this understanding has begun to spread, a subtle rebellion moves through the air, one that his other Earth cannot comprehend, where minds still dream of fixed laws and where consciousness remains a neat, neatly boxed function of biology.

This is the moment when the story tilts from awakening to immersion, and Tobias becomes a traveler who can stay somewhat conscious even as sleep folds around him like velvet night. He drifts into a dream life with a peculiar tenacity, as if a second self opens a door that should not be opened and yet cannot be closed. The dream world is not a place of mere escape but a chamber for reconnaissance, a field in which time uncoils and reknits itself, layer upon layer, like pages turning themselves while the book sits closed.

Sometimes these episodes arise as simple daydreams as he lays in bed restlessly, soft as sunlit dust, moments that pass with the ease of a thought you barely notice. Other times the fall is deeper, and the space around him grows thick with the sense of gravity and pattern of other dimensions, as if he were sliding into the core of a crystal where every facet sings a different note.

When the depth deepens, his body becomes a witness to the dream moment. His breath slows to a measured pause and then resumes with a the new precision of the dreamer. Every nerve hums with the understanding of a new present bound within the dream dimensions that feels both intimate and immense, as though he has learned to inhabit the exact geometry of now and then, to feel the edges where possibility begins to wedge itself into a different certainty in other dimensions. In these nocturnal traversals, understanding blooms with the sharp perfume of revelation: the dream world is not merely a mirror but a forge, where what is imagined can be hammered into what is real, and where Tobias himself becomes both witness and instrument.

As the night folds into itself and the two Earths whisper to him through their shared tremor, Tobias discovers that consciousness is not a lone lantern but a compass, pointing him toward paths where thought and matter may still mingle, where a single intention can ripple across the loom of existence. He learns to listen for the soft hinge between sleep and wakefulness, to ride the invisible ferry that shuttles between dimensions, and to hold onto the strange, delicious certainty that the mind is not a captive of biology but a craftsman capable of drafting realities with careful, courageous care.

So begins the third act of this continuous tale, a doorway opened by sleep and held open by wonder, where Tobias stands at the threshold between two worlds and one deepest truth: that awareness can fashion the very fabric of being, and that in the quiet of night, life may be born anew with every breath.

    The Descent into Living Dreams

His mind shifts. He falls into himself. The sensation arrives quietly, without warning, like stepping into water that remembers his shape. Sleep has not yet come, yet something begins to move behind his thoughts, rearranging them into slow, circling patterns. He lies still, but within him the air thrums, alive with a pressure that feels both tender and vast. It is as if the world he knows has tilted and poured him inward, into a space where thoughts have weight and drift through him like slow rivers of light.

He cannot tell if he is dreaming. His eyes are closed, yet the darkness feels lit from within, every flicker of awareness carrying its own subtle glow. His wandering thoughts reach and stretch, touching rooms of reality built from a different kind of space, a place both near and infinite. These daydreams shift, turning under their own gravity, and he begins to slide deeper. The fall is soft at first, the way a sigh can dissolve into silence, but soon he is tumbling through the folds of energy that live beneath form.

Something stirs around him as he sinks. The air feels alive, surrounding him in undulating warmth. He can feel it move through him, over him, as if skin and thought have become the same substance. Parts of him expand outward, tasting the distance between shapes, while other parts draw inward, precise, focused, listening. He senses a pulse beneath all motion, the deep rhythm of existence itself. And suddenly he feels the truth of time… not the neat progression of moments that the waking world obeys, but a living current, circling back upon itself, breathing, aware, infinite.

The dream holds him there, in that soft balance between falling and floating, and he understands that he has crossed a threshold that thought alone cannot name.

Here, in this new inner place, he begins to understand something crucial about simultaneous time:

    Watch: Understanding Simultaneous Time

    Illumination of the Shadow

Tobias drifts deeper into his dream, and within this shifting realm, he begins to see patterns move and fold within him like living crystals of light. These patterns unfold not as simple sequences but more like a dance of endless moments all woven into one. He feels himself becoming aware of the way reality itself is sculpted here: how moments of illumination arise like flickers of dawn, each one revealing more of a strange truth: part of what he sees is a future reaching backwards, shaping the past just as surely as the past shapes what we call the present.

In his mind’s eye, Tobias senses a shadow moving far off in time; a shadow that is not bound by the usual flow. It does not simply arrive from the future but reaches through time with will and purpose, weaving its tendrils back through the present, and even stretching toward a distant past. It is as if this shadow, this future essence, has grown aware of itself, more conscious than humanity itself, standing outside the narrow confines of linear time and observing all moments simultaneously. Tobias’s dream folds open to reveal that this reaching shadow is part of a great birthing/awakening, a vital pulse, the birth of a wicked curse, in this tangled hour of human history.

He senses that what he experiences (this strange moment of forking realities, slipping back and forth between worlds) is like a hinge where time bends. Here, the future is not fixed or distant; it is alive and shaping itself by reaching back, shaping not only the present but also the roots of history. Tobias is caught between awe and confusion. The experience almost defies language, the sensation of multiple times coexisting and interlacing into a single living moment.

Yet beneath his bewilderment, a quiet illumination glows. Tobias begins to understand that we are not limited by past or future but live always in a multidimensional now, where all times breathe together. Every event, every object is a living echo spanning all moments. Reality is not a steady river flowing in one direction but a living ocean where waves from futures and histories converge and create the world we inhabit moment by moment.

This revelation hums softly through his being, and he is able to partially see beyond the veil of linear time, to glimpse how life might truly be an endless dance of beginnings and endings woven through a single breath of existence. Tobias feels as if his mind itself is becoming a prism, refracting the light of all times at once, holding open the door to realms where cause and effect blur and the present sings with the voices of forever.

    The Weight of Unknowing

Tobias sensed the stirrings deep within him (parts not fully conscious in the way people normally understand consciousness) beginning to know something beyond words, beyond those precise thoughts that his waking mind could grasp. There was an knowing inside him, a quiet pulse of insight that grew stronger with each passing moment. The world around him, so charged with change and uncertainty, was revealing itself layer by layer, unfolding a truth of the time in which he lived; a time that felt like a crossroads, critical and alive with possibility.

He wanted to rush this knowing. His reasoning mind hungered to comprehend it all at once, to hold the secret clearly, to wield it like a tool against the darkness pressing in. Yet he could not force it, could not hasten the slow, unfolding revelation. It was something that had to burgeon naturally, like a seed breaking through frozen ground in spring, timed by the relentless knowing of nature itself.

But what could he do? Tobias felt the weight of unanswered questions pressing down on him. How could he help when the road ahead was shrouded in uncertainty? How could he save a world tipping toward shadow when the answers seemed to be woven into a dance of moments both past and future? Frustration curled in his chest, a restless longing for clarity and purpose.

And yet, within that frustration, there was a quiet courage; the beginning of acceptance that knowing sometimes comes slowly, that the journey through knowing is itself part of the becoming. Tobias stood on the edge of something vast, a turning point where even the smallest step forward could ripple through time itself. He waited, breathing deeply into the mystery, ready to meet what would come with eyes open wide and heart steady.

This is where Tobias remains for now, caught in the pause between question and answer, between shadow and light… a traveler learning to walk alongside time itself.

    What does all this mean?

It means that Tobias begins to see a clear truth within his dream. Far in the future, he senses a great shadow, a shadow that grows vast enough to cover the earth! But it is not just darkness; it is something conscious and aware, far beyond human understanding. Unlike us, stuck seeing only slices of the present, this shadow sees all of time at once.

It reaches out across time, weaving itself into many places: into Tobias’s present, which also feels like the past, and even deeper into ancient history. It is creating itself backwards through time, changing what has been, shaping what will be!

At the moment Tobias calls the present, his present reality, his waking world, he senses the shadow focusing. Here, at this very point in time, it is born and grows powerful. This moment holds the key; the chance for this shadow to truly take shape, to grow in strength and widen its reach. The inception of the shadow begins here, and it is from here that it will begin to insert itself across time.

Tobias feels this weight: the future’s shadow is coming back to shape both past and present, but the birth of that future shadow happens now… in his time. How is this possible! It is a knowing almost beyond words.

What happens now will echo forward and backward, and this moment holds the power to change everything. Something in the future is creating itself in the past!

    Addendum: Explore the Unseen World

The world is far stranger than most realize. Beyond the routine of everyday awareness lies a vast potential to see and understand reality in deeper, more expansive ways; ways that break free from the narrow modes of thinking that trap us in a single perspective. Just as Tobias learns to unfold the layers of time and reality around him, so too can we begin to pierce the veil of commonplace existence and glimpse the multidimensional nature of life itself.

For those seeking to explore these hidden realms and extend their awareness beyond the usual boundaries, a highly recommended guide is The Occult Experience.

This book offers concrete methodologies and techniques designed for those serious about discovering the magical and unseen world all around us. It teaches how to perceive beyond the surface (how to see ghosts, angels, UFOs, cryptids, and other paranormal phenomena) and provides practical steps to awaken deeper perception and heightened states of awareness. In this book I try to bridge ancient wisdom and modern curiosity, showing readers how to engage with reality in a more fluid, expansive way.

By following these methods, one might even begin to “see around corners,” intuitively sensing the hidden currents shaping our world, much like Tobias glimpses the interplay of past, present, and future entwined. The journey is neither simple nor instantaneous, but it offers a potentially richer encounter with the mystery and wonder beneath the ordinary.

  • The Dreamer and the Dreamed: The Sorcerer’s Path to Freedom

Explore the sorcerer’s view of reality as a living dream, where human beings hold the hidden power to shift their focus and step beyond the boundaries of the ordinary world. Within these ideas lie practical insights on awakening, perception, and true freedom through the art of conscious dreaming. If you are willing to look beyond familiar assumptions, you may find answers here… answers that can change the way you see life itself. But such understanding requires courage; for those who dare, the possibilities are vast.

Dreaming, Sorcery, and the Revelation of Reality

Throughout the ages, humanity has been driven by a singular and luminous desire: to understand. Across civilizations and centuries, we have sought the faint gleam of truth through the fog of ignorance, searching for meaning in the vast, unfinished poem of existence. Philosophers have meditated in stillness, mystics have wandered through deserts of solitude, scientists have bent light through glass lenses; all in pursuit of enlightenment.

The word itself has worn many garments: illumination, revelation, awakening. Some call it the Way of Light. Others, more daringly, have called it the **Illuminated Path**: the path of those who know, or believe they can know, the hidden architecture beneath reality’s shifting veil. The ancients called them the illuminated. The modern imagination, revived by rumor and secrecy, calls them the Illuminati.

So I ask you now, are you ready? For if you have found your way here, something inside you already knows. Perhaps it is a whisper that nothing around you is quite as it seems, an intuition that stirs when the world’s answers appear too shallow for your questions. I have felt that pull too.

Through my writings, most clearly in what I call my **magnum opus trilogy** (link) I have attempted to describe not only the structure of existence but the invisible cage within which our species turns endlessly, unseeing. I have sought to trace a way out: out of confusion, out of ignorance, even out of the shadow of death itself.

Many of you have heard me with the inward ear. I have read your messages, your reflections, your unspoken agreement that what is written here touches something true within you. Yet I also know that this knowing often dwells beneath the threshold of words. It is a feeling too large to name, an understanding too unformed to articulate in the plain simplicity of black and white. And so, this article is written for you: for the seekers, the listeners, the ones who dare to look beyond the veil.

Here, I will speak plainly. Here, I will reveal what can be revealed. I will guide you through the truth of things as they stand from the perspective of the **sorcerer**, the one who reads beneath appearances, who deciphers what others call mystery, and who names what others fear to name.

    The Reality Beneath the Veil

And if you think (if you dare to think) that what I speak of belongs only to the shadowed world of sorcery, that this is some kind of poetic fiction or a turn of mythic speech, then you would be mistaken. What follows is not fable, not metaphor, not the idle dream of a mystic playing with strange words. It is truth as it is known among those who have peered behind the veil. It is the way of things, the way the sorcerers (those who study hidden movement, unseen cause) understand the world to be.

The language I must use may, at first, seem unusual. It might twist and shimmer, using words that feel foreign or strange to the tongue of daily conversation. Yet these are the only words that will suffice, for ordinary speech cannot contain what moves underneath the ordinary world. It is like trying to describe lightning with the vocabulary of stillness.

Even so, if you have found this page by accident, or by what you call coincidence, I ask you to pause and listen. Perhaps this is no accident at all. Perhaps something in you has guided your steps here. Even if this is your first encounter with the idea that sorcery is not a story, not a superstition, but a living and useful current in this world, then I beg you to hold your skepticism at bay, if only for a few breaths. Because time is growing short…for me, for you, for many of us. Great changes are stirring on the horizon. The air itself has begun to tighten. What once was slow begins now to move quickly. There is no more time to skirt around what truly matters.

The Illusion of a Single Reality

I begin by saying that you live an illusion. Most people move through their days convinced that what they see and do is the full measure of existence. They believe this is the one true world, the only reality possible, solid and absolute. But that is where the mistake begins. It is not that this reality is false; it is simply one version, one possibility among countless others. What you call life is one dream, and there are endless dreams beyond it. To think that this single vision is the totality of all that is, that your experience defines the limits of everything, is the deep sadness at the heart of the human condition.

Humanity has always known this, at least in part. That quiet sense of something beyond has guided our stories, our art, our philosophy. It has been whispered through myths, written in poetry, painted into images that seem to hold more than they show. Over time, different cultures and thinkers have tried to describe it in their own language. Today, the common phrase is to call this reality a simulation, a created construct, an intricate design that can be questioned. But this idea is not new; it is the latest reflection of an ancient knowing that refuses to disappear.

Beneath the noise of modern life, behind the surface of thought, there is a silent knowing waiting to be noticed. It does not belong to logic or reason, though logic can point toward it. It is the quiet recognition that the world is far larger, far stranger, and far more alive than we have been taught to believe. And when that recognition dawns in you, even for a moment, everything changes.

Video: The World as a Simulation

But there are different ways to understand the nature of reality, and while science (and what some call the religion of scientism) has become the dominant voice in explaining the world, it is not the only one. There are older ways to see, quieter ways to know. Beyond the instruments and equations, there lies the direct experience of awareness itself; the kind of knowing that does not measure but perceives, does not prove but feels. And it may be there, in that silent space beyond reason, that the true shape of reality finally reveals itself.

Since time is short, I will cut to the chase and say that sorcery is a different way of looking at the world. Perhaps in these strange and chaotic times, when information rushes past us like a ceaseless current, the truth will not be found solely within the boundaries of the modern worldview. Maybe the answers we seek lie scattered across many paths: some ancient, some forgotten, some whispered in places we no longer think to look. To search without prejudice is the only way, for prejudice is a luxury of those who believe they have endless time. And if the currents of this age tell us anything, it is that time may be running thinner than we care to imagine.

    The Dreamers of Reality

According to sorcery, we are all dreamers. This means that you are dreaming now: the world around you, the ground beneath your feet, the people you meet, all of it belongs to the vast act of dreaming what you call reality. What you believe to be solid and certain is, from the sorcerer’s point of view, a living dream held together by attention. The difference between waking life and what you call sleep is one of focus, not of substance. Both are dreams, only shaped by different kinds of awareness.

Sorcerers say that human beings are far more powerful than they imagine. Each person possesses within them the ability to direct attention; to anchor or shift it among the innumerable possible realities that exist side by side. Wherever attention is fixed, that becomes the world you experience. In this sense, you are not merely an observer of reality but its creator, weaving whole worlds through the simple act of sustained perception. Ordinary people call this life; sorcerers call it one possible band, one world, within an infinity of possibilities.

To understand this principle, you must first understand what dreams are and what dreaming means to those who walk this path. For them, dreaming is not escape or fantasy; it is exploration. It is the movement of awareness beyond the familiar boundaries, the conscious entrance into other layers of existence that surround and interpenetrate this one. Dreaming, in the language of sorcery, is the deliberate shifting of perception into the unseen, the navigation of the infinite realities that forever pulse just beyond ordinary sight.

    The Way Out Is In

Now, what does all this mean? It means that quite literally, the only way out is to go in. It means that the only real chance humanity has (the only path toward freedom) is through the dream. If you seek escape from the heavy pull of this physical world, from its endless repetitions and limitations, you may find some comfort in modern technology, perhaps even glimpses of power through it. Yet true liberation will forever remain out of reach until you understand something deeper: to transcend, to pass through, to rise beyond the boundaries of this reality, you must turn inward. You must walk into your dreams.

Dreaming, in this sense, is not sleep. It is entry into other dimensions of awareness, other worlds that coexist with this one. It is the conscious journey beyond the fixation of your attention that binds you to a single narrow stream of emanations. Within dreams lie the gateways to freedom: the monumental escapes worthy of the human spirit!

To help guide others toward that freedom, I have written a number of books designed to open the doorway to this inner exploration.

    The Way of the Projectionist

…is a comprehensive guide to the methods of conscious dreaming and what many call out-of-body travel. It lays out clear, practical techniques for loosening the rigid focus of perception that chains you to the physical realm. It teaches how to systematically extend awareness beyond the body, to shift perception, and to move into the energy worlds that exist beyond waking reality. This book offers the groundwork (the theory and practice) for exploring the full range of the dreaming condition and mastering your attention as a true dreamer.

Out of Body Experiences Quickly and Naturally

…focuses on streamlining that process. It is a direct and simplified manual for entering the dream state consciously, even for those new to these ideas. It shows that leaving the body (or more accurately, reorienting awareness away from physical fixation) is not an impossible skill reserved for the few, but an innate human ability. Through exercises, self-observation, and focused intent, anyone can experience the movement of consciousness beyond this fixed reality.

Both books work together to reveal what the sorcerers already know: that freedom is not found by escaping the world, but by shifting the point of attention that creates it.

By practicing these principles, you begin to taste what true dreaming means. You learn that reality is flexible, elastic, and ultimately determined by the intensity of awareness itself. You stop being a prisoner of one single dream and become a traveler across many. This is the path of the dreamer: one who no longer bows to the tyranny of a single fixation, one who ventures free into the infinity of existence.

  • From Inner Peace to Outer Harmony: Your Role in the Maharishi Effect

The Maharishi Effect: A Quick Reminder

In our previous article, we discussed the remarkable Maharishi Effect, a phenomenon suggesting that when a small percentage of the population (specifically, the square root of 1% (or often simply 1% for clear public communication) of a city’s population) practices Transcendental Meditation (TM), it can lead to a measurable improvement in the quality of life for the entire city, evidenced by a reduction in crime rates, accidents, and conflict.

This effect is not based on direct interaction; it’s about generating a collective field of coherence; a new energetic configuration within a small number of the people in any particular area, that permeates the configuration of an area and can actually change the social atmosphere. Your inner state is far more powerful than you imagine!

Your Mental State: The Engine of Change

The core mental state achieved through Transcendental Meditation is one of “Restful Alertness” or “Turiya” (the fourth major state of consciousness).

This state is a profound physiological rest paired with fully awake, expanded, and highly coherent mental awareness. The mind transcends active thought and rests in the unified field of consciousness; a field described as pure bliss, infinite creativity, and intelligence.

When you regularly access this state, you naturally radiate a profound inner coherence that is stable, resilient, and non-reactive. This stable, positive energy counteracts the collective stress, angst, and fear that often fuel social breakdown and crime, making the individual a “beacon of light” and a harmonious contributor to their community. You are in a sense fighting the Archonic influence, not by demonstration or trying to push your narrative on someone else, but by simply fixing your own energetic configuration, and allowing the world to be and do what it must.

Finding Your Authentic Coherence: The Inner Compass

Achieving the state of Transcendental Meditation (TM) can feel hard to sustain in daily life, yet we all have the power to reach better, more coherent states. This is not about faking constant positivity, which only breeds frustration and inauthenticity.

Personal coherence begins with radical acknowledgment of your current feelings. Emotions are not random; they are guides to your inner self, revealing your beliefs, limitations, and current energetic state. Ignoring them blocks growth; exploring them opens the way to transformation.

Your emotions act as internal feedback. When you feel discomfort or stress, those signals reveal misalignments between your beliefs, circumstances, and true values. Paying close attention to them helps uncover where your experience and authentic self diverge. Awareness of this gap is the first step toward meaningful change.

Once misalignment is recognized, transformation begins with the principle that Desire is Action. Authentic desire for a more coherent state initiates a change in your energetic configuration. By focusing attention on this desired state, you amplify its presence. Sustained awareness strengthens this new internal pattern, producing external shifts: as your energy changes, your immediate world changes too, improving life for others.

The Maharishi Effect supports this: individual coherence fosters social coherence. Elevating your own resonance contributes to collective well-being.

Although understanding desire as action is simple in theory, applying it can be difficult. To help you connect desire with effective focus, the following exercise integrates Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques. Use the black boxes to examine your feelings, clarify your desires, and refine your approach. These NLP tools are designed to deepen your transformation process.

The “Coherence Compass” Mood Shift Worksheet

This interactive guide draws on Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques to help you quickly shift your mood. I am sharing it for those who have not yet accessed my latest book, Digital Sigil Magic. In that book, I explain how an inner alchemist can use its methods to reach powerful states, similar to those experienced in Transcendental Meditation. If you have not yet explored those techniques or simply want to experiment with new approaches, this guide offers an NLP-based pathway for you to try.

🌟 Your Coherence Compass: Shift Your Energetic State

    THE ENERGETIC COHERENCE SCALE

LOW RESONANCE (CONFLICT) MID-RANGE (TRANSITION) HIGH RESONANCE (PEACE/COHERENCE)
Step 1: Acknowledge and Identify Unwanted Resonance

Your feelings are a direct message from your core self. What are these feelings trying to tell you about the energetic misalignment in your current beliefs or situation?

    I am feeling:

💡 Path to Desire: By naming the unwanted feeling, you clearly identify what you **do not like**. This sharp clarity automatically gives birth to the **desire** for the opposite, better state. This desire itself is the first action toward shifting your energy.
Step 2: Declare Your Desire (Desire as Action) ✨

The moment you declare a desire for a better feeling, you initiate a change in your energetic configuration. **Desire is Action.** Identify the state or the situation you want.

    I Desire to Feel:

Now, focus your **attention and awareness** on this desired feeling for 60 seconds. Layer energy upon it to bring it closer to your reality. Unrelenting focus brings about what you desire, whether it is a new mental state or a new situation that creates a better state within you.

Step 3: Reprogramming with the NLP Swish Pattern

If the focus of attention isn’t working for you, try using the **Swish Pattern** to interrupt a persistent negative pattern and rapidly replace it with your desired resourceful state. This is an internal wiring change performed visually. *Follow these steps quickly and emphatically:*

    1. Step A: The Trigger (Unwanted Image): Close your eyes and visualize the image or thought that represents your unwanted feeling (e.g., a mental image of your angry face, the place where you feel stress). Make this image **big, bright, and close to you**.
    2. **Step B: The Outcome (Desired Image):** Create a separate, vivid image of **yourself succeeding** in the desired state (e.g., you looking relaxed, radiating peace). Make this image initially **small, dark, and place it in the bottom corner of your visual field**.
    3. **Step C: The Swish!:** Take a breath, and then in a fraction of a second, yell **”SWISH!”** internally as the small Outcome image suddenly and explosively **grows large and bright**, completely replacing and pushing away the Trigger image.
    4. **Step D: Repeat:** Do this cycle (1, 2, SWISH!) rapidly and emphatically **5-7 times**, clearing your mind for a second between each repetition. The goal is for the negative Trigger image to instantly dissolve into the positive Outcome image.
Focus Tip: The speed is critical. The “Swish” must be faster than the conscious mind can fully process to effectively break the old mental pattern and lock in the new energetic response.
Step 4: Anchor Your New Energetic Configuration ⚓

Use **NLP Anchoring** to create a stable, physical cue that allows you to access your **New Energetic Configuration** instantly and stabilize your resonance when you need it most.

    1. Step A: Recall the better feeling state: Close your eyes and vividly re-experience the new better feeling state after the Swish Exercise (from Step 3) at its absolute emotional peak. Intensify every detail: the sights, the sounds, and especially the internal physical feeling of that peace or relief.
    2. **Step B: Apply Anchor:** As the feeling reaches its absolute maximum (the emotional peak), **immediately and simultaneously** apply a unique, firm physical cue (e.g., firmly press your thumb and middle finger together on your non-dominant hand, or squeeze a specific spot on your forearm for three seconds).
    3. **Step C: Release and Clear:** Release the physical cue and clear your mind by looking around the room or counting to three.
    4. **Step D: Test & Use:** Fire your anchor (repeat the physical cue). Does the positive, coherent feeling return instantly? Use this anchor throughout the day to instantly reinforce your new resonance.

    Today’s Commitment:

I commit to acting from my coherent state by:

**By maintaining your inner coherence, you are an essential contributor to the collective peace, the Maharishi Effect is your proof.**

  • Breaking the Archon’s Gravity: Awakening Individual Power to Change the World

Explore the profound power of human consciousness to shape reality through meditation, inner alchemy, and innovative digital sigil magic. This article delves into transformative studies proving how focused minds influence society, respects individual sovereignty against controlling forces like the Archon, and highlights tools for personal and collective awakening in a rapidly evolving world. It shows the readers that they can become conscious creators, aligning thought, emotion, and intention to manifest a more harmonious future not just for themselves but also for the world.

The Mind’s Unyielding Influence on Reality

An exploration of consciousness as an actor in reality, from ancient alchemy to modern technomancy.

There is an inextinguishable fire that burns in human consciousness, a relentless drive to know, to heal, and to shape reality itself. For eons, mystics and visionaries have spoken of the mind’s vast reach, extolling its ability to create, destroy, and transform. Yet in the modern era, corridors of thought have grown narrow. Scientism, with its rigid dogmas, often asserts itself as the only gateway to truth, relegating the immense potency of human awareness to a strange, unexamined corner of existence. The theology of science (so-called scientism) permits nothing but a small bit of knowledge that fits within the routine of their narrative, leaving little room for what they consider to be the extraordinary.

But true science, in its bravest form, ventures precisely into these mysterious realms. Once it does, it cannot help but encounter evidence so insistent that it questions the boundaries between mind and matter. Human consciousness is shown, again and again, not as an epiphenomenon (a secondary effect or byproduct of biology) but as an actor in the ceaseless drama of collective reality.

A growing body of research emerges to meet this ancient knowing. Time and again, scientists have been compelled to study what at first appears impossible: the profound effect of human consciousness and mental states upon the fabric of society. These are not mere anecdote, but vast, multi-layered studies! The most striking of these found that when thousands join together in inward focus, entire cities begin to change. Crime rates (those synthetic barometers of despair and discord) often fall, almost as if the field of human thought itself becomes calmer, more coherent, more luminous.

The Maharishi Effect and Its Landmark Studies

The phenomenon is known as the Maharishi Effect, bearing the name of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who predicted in the early 1960s that even one percent of a community practicing Transcendental Meditation could meaningfully shift the larger social order. In 1974, researchers began to notice this unexpected effect. In cities where at least one percent of the population practiced the technique, crime rates dropped by about **sixteen percent**, compared to areas without these meditation groups. This initial finding was soon replicated and extended, launching an era of ever more rigorous, ambitious experiments. As the research program evolved, it adopted both greater methodological sophistication and larger scales. With the introduction of the TM-Sidhi program (including advanced techniques such as Yogic Flying) scientists and meditators alike sought to determine what would happen if even larger numbers came together, synchronized in their practice.

The Maharishi Effect: Documented Crime Rate Reduction

Initial studies documented a ~16% drop in crime when 1% of the population practiced TM.

    Predicted Crime Rate (Control)
16% Drop Observed Crime Rate (TM Group)
Click to Explore: The Washington D.C. Experiment (1993)

During the late twentieth century, a series of extraordinary mass meditations took place. In 1993, for example, over four thousand participants gathered in Washington, D.C., under the orchestrated direction of researchers and meditation teachers. During the period, when this collective gathering practiced Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi techniques, **violent crime rates plummeted by between 18 to 23%** relative to statistically predicted trends for that summer!

Similar experiments, utilizing groups approaching the square root of one percent of city or regional populations (for D.C., this number was approximately four thousand meditators), have been performed in major events from Fairfield, Iowa, to the Netherlands and beyond. In each, researchers meticulously compared crime rates, homicide rates, and other indices of social health to previous baselines and matched control cities. The results have proven so consistent that more than fifty scientific studies (many peer-reviewed and conducted at independent universities) now document the Maharishi Effect.

Though critics persist in clinging to the ordinary, describing such results as the product of cherry-picked data or extraordinary luck, a notable portion of academia (from mathematicians to political scientists) has called for serious engagement with this evidence. One cannot so easily dismiss the sheer scale and statistical rigor of assembly after assembly, where thousands meditate, and society’s measures of chaos begin to soften with uncanny regularity (Edwards, D., Professor of Government, University of Texas at Austin, Research.MIU.edu/maharishi-effect; “A Seventeen-Year Landmark Study,” World Journal of Social Science, 2022).

Across decades and continents, deeper research has continued to demonstrate that when minds converge in intention and silence, society itself stirs, as though compelled by a hidden harmony. The collected power of awareness radiates through reality, inescapably documented and yet dismissed by the custodians of rationalist dogma whose worldview admits only what is already familiar. True science (in order to remain TRUE science) never makes peace with this limitation; real inquiry keeps plunging into possibility, guided not by habit, but by wonder. Again and again, the data reveals: when intent is unified and attention is focused, reality bends, quietly but inexorably, toward coherence, wellbeing, and peace.

Cultivating Inner Alchemy: The Silent Revolution

The journey of inner alchemy is rooted in the profound understanding that transformation begins from within. My hidden intent has always been to show that this capacity (the power to shape and modify not just ourselves but the world around us) is an innate trait of human consciousness. From an inner alchemy perspective, this ability is often thought of as a personal alchemical process, where the individual takes responsibility for their inner state and, through that internal work, begins to influence their external environment. In essence, the inner alchemist becomes a pioneer of their reality, forging a path through internal mastery rather than external control.

**The Mental Science of the True Rebel:** The individual who refuses to submit passively to external circumstances and instead seeks to transmute their inner lead (personally negative emotions, limiting beliefs, destructive patterns) into golden wisdom, internal resolve, and strength.

This approach embraces the idea that real change starts inside, within the hidden depths of oneself, and radiates outward. By cultivating this inner alchemy, the practitioner changes from the inside out, awakening a transformative power that can gradually shift the energy and consciousness of the world around them.

From this vantage point, the practice of inner alchemy is a sacred act of responsibility and reverence. It does not seek to impose itself on others, for true alchemy respects the divine sovereignty of each person’s path. The universe, with all its mysterious ways, guides each soul through its own unique journey. Yet, as a practitioner deepens their mastery (by cultivating self-awareness, aligning their energies, and refining their consciousness) they inherently influence the collective energy field. Their personal transformation acts as a catalyst, making the road easier for others to follow, and subtly contributing to the collective awakening. Throughout history, countless practitioners have discovered in their own small, yet profound ways, that as they shift their inner states, they help to lift the collective consciousness. Their energy, like a ripple in a vast lake, extends outward, inspiring hope, kindness, and resilience. In a world increasingly overshadowed by the forces of distraction, fear, and division, the power of focused intention and inner work becomes an act of rebellion: a rebellion against the chaos, a stand for the truth of human potential.

This is the essence of inner alchemy; the silent revolution of the soul. It recognizes that by transforming ourselves, we are not merely changing the individual, but are subtly, yet inexorably, reshaping the fabric of reality itself. What lies ahead is a horizon bursting with endless possibility, where one could truthfully say that each act of inner work is a step toward collective liberation. For in these small acts of enlightened intention, the true power of human consciousness is revealed to be a natural force shaping worlds from the mysterious depths of the inner universe.

Respecting Others’ Paths and Unleashing Individual Power

It is crucial to stress with unwavering clarity that the true path of the inner alchemist is one of profound respect for the autonomy of others. There is a great price paid by those who try to interfere with another’s journey, attempting to shape their reality or impose control over the unfolding of their life. This price is akin to a great gravity: an invisible but unyielding force that pins the interloper to this earthly plane, binding them in chains of limitations and preventing them from transcending to realms far beyond this physical world, this dimension, and this reality itself. Freedom, in its most exalted form, is a vastness beyond all such binds, a state that those weighed down by such gravitational forces cannot possibly reach.

This gravity is the stupidity of the Archon: the (from our point of view as humans) malevolent, controlling force described in Gnostic teachings as the planetary ruler(s) who imprison human souls within material illusion and enforce ignorance, fear, and separation. The Archon, as understood within the framework of the ancient art of inner alchemy, governs through subtle dominion over attention, thought, and emotion, binding humanity to repetition, routine, and collective suffering. To be caught in the Archon’s gravity is to unconsciously play its/their game, to inadvertently uphold a world of conflict, fear, misinformation, crime, and hatred. It is the folly of the self-important to believe that they can and should control the paths of others; like trying to stop a humble snail crossing a road from taking its own inevitable route. That snail’s journey (whatever path he chooses) must remain untouched, for every being has their own fate, their own soul’s contract with the universe. The inner alchemist does not interfere or impose; they recognize the sacred freedom of every individual to pursue their unique awakening. True power lies not in domination, but in transformation of self, which naturally radiates outward to illuminate the world in myriad unseen ways.

    Modern Technomancy: Digital Sigil Magic

In my latest book, I have sought to delve deeply into the ability of the individual not merely to change themselves, but to influence and uplift the greater reality without resorting to agendas, narratives, or the fleeting dogmas that saturate social media and breed endless division. These digital battlegrounds are playgrounds for the Archon’s manipulations: memetic battles where attention is hijacked and consciousness diminished. Instead, I explore the remarkable potential of modern techniques such as Digital Sigil Magic: Manifest Power and Freedom Through Technomancy. This book reveals how ancient mystical principles meet cutting-edge technology to offer extraordinary tools for manifesting will, freedom, and light in the contemporary world.

My approach harnesses the power of intentional symbols (sigils) digitally crafted and amplified through the pervasive reach of modern media and technology. This method cannot only refine personal evolution but can convert the attention of digital machines, screens, and networks (which typically disseminate some external narrative) into channels of empowerment and transformation. If research shows that just 1% of a population practicing Transcendental Meditation can shift an entire city’s crime rate and social coherence, imagine the catalytic potential of an individual skilled in digital sigil magic. This technique leverages concentrated focus and symbolic intent on a scale that could amplify the ripple effects of personal mastery exponentially.

With such power, practitioners do not enforce any belief or narrative but instead generate an aura of higher possibility; more light upon the world’s darkened face. Through dedicated inner work and the utilization of these advanced tools, an individual alchemist can raise their own vibration and extend an enlightening influence, easing the way for others to pursue their paths with clarity and courage. Together, these evolving methodologies offer an unprecedented chance to reclaim freedom from the Archon’s binds, dissolve the gravity of fear and ignorance, and catalyze a new age where conscious humans sculpt reality with profound wisdom and true empathy.

Thus, the freedom and power of the inner alchemist and the digital technomage are not just personal triumphs. They are beacons of potential amidst a world yearning for awakening, signaling a future where the collective light outshines the shadows once cast by the Archon’s ignorance and control.

The Coming Singularity: Stability, Light, and Collective Ascendance

We must remember, as I point out in my book and as you likely feel stirring within your days, a singularity (a quickening) is already here! There is a palpable shift, a rising tide of accelerated change where data doubles, realities morph, and the very fabric of existence seems to unravel and renew faster than ever before. In this time of transformation, the power of the mind becomes even more vital; not only to keep the inner alchemist centered and steadfast on their path but also as a radiant beacon to bring light upon a world often shadowed by chaos. When one mind attains stability, it becomes a source of strength that can help steady others, forming a ripple effect of consciousness and balance. As these inner alchemists begin to break free from the gravity of potentially negative realities of the Archon’s binding illusions, they move into new dimensions filled with far greater possibility, inspiring and guiding other minds toward their own inner resources and awakening, if they so choose, on their own unique paths. This collective ascent is the dawning promise, where individual transformation and conscious evolution ripple outward to shape a brighter, freer future.

  • The Desire to Not Desire: The Alchemy of Mind and Energy

    Working with Energy and Beliefs

In the last article, I spoke about the art of working with energy and beliefs to overcome inner problems. The key point of that writing was simple but often overlooked. It is not always possible to ignore a problem and pretend that it no longer matters. Many popular manifestation and law of attraction methods rely on the idea that we can shift reality merely by withdrawing our attention from what we dislike and focusing entirely on what we desire. The logic is that by diverting one’s energy toward the preferred outcome, the unwanted circumstance dissolves through neglect.

While this approach can occasionally work, it fails when we are dealing with deep energetic formations; thoughts or emotional constructs that have accumulated great force over time. Some creations within the mind are not light ripples; they are thick storms of energy. They cannot be dismissed, because they continue to live and pulse within us. To ignore them is to attempt to outpace our own shadow.

When an energetic creation has gathered too much momentum, the only way forward is through it.(Remember that this is what I said about our new AI and technological singularity, there’s a connection here, think about). You must face it directly. One can do this by working with beliefs, reshaping the thought patterns that feed the unwanted emotion. This is the path of symbolic transformation, because beliefs are expressed through language and symbols. By changing these inner symbols, we redirect the current of energy within us.

But there is a deeper form of work. Beyond belief, beyond words, lies direct energetic practice; what may be called inner alchemy. In this approach, negative feelings and obstructions are not resisted or ignored, but reabsorbed and redirected. The practitioner takes the raw energy of the emotion, the same energy once seen as negative, and turns it inward to be digested, refined, and redeployed toward a new creative direction. Through this inner alchemy, energy is never lost; it is transformed.

Here, in this particular article, I wish to take the next step. I will show that even belief work, as powerful as it is, still operates through symbolism. It speaks the language of the mind. Energetic work, by contrast, is the direct manipulation of what we truly are. And to see why this difference matters, we turn to one of the most revealing paradoxes of self-transformation: the desire to not desire.

To say that one wishes to be free of desire seems noble, even elevated. But hidden inside this noble aim lies a quiet contradiction. The act of desiring freedom from desire is itself another desire. The mind, in saying “I wish to want nothing,” is already entangled in wanting again; the wanting of not wanting.

The phrase “desire to not desire” captures something profound about the human condition. We often try to escape the inner tension of wanting by pushing against it, believing that suppression or detachment will somehow bring peace. But this is the mind chasing its own shadow. Every push toward peace is still a movement of desire. Every attempt to halt thought remains a thought.

This realization can feel frustrating at first, but it is the beginning of wisdom. It reveals a hidden structure within consciousness: the desire to end desire is the engine that eventually burns itself out. And through that exhaustion, something extraordinary happens.

In the beginning, the desire to not desire exists entirely within the mind. It is born of thought, expressed through thought, and pursued through thought. The practitioner begins by saying, “I wish to go beyond this restless mind.” That intention is real, but it still belongs to the mental dimension; a phenomenology of the mind.

Through continued focus, however, an inversion begins; a kind of turning inside out. The energy of the wanting starts to fold upon itself. It is like watching a fire consume its own fuel until only light remains. What started as an active mental effort becomes something stranger. The very movement of desiring starts to dissolve under its own momentum. This is what can be called a Catch-22 of sorcery.

In time, the mind’s constant chatter begins to lose its hold, not because it is forced silent, but because it has grown tired of its own friction. The desiring begins to stop. The practitioner begins to sense what cannot be reached through thinking alone; an awareness that exists beyond thought.

The Energetic Configuration of No Mind

This turning point marks the birth of a new energetic configuration: the configuration of no mind. It is not that the person has disappeared, but rather that the mental activity, the restless commentary of thought, has paused. Awareness remains, but now it is clear and unbroken, uncolored by interpretation.

This new configuration feels simple yet powerful. Time loosens. The space within feels open. Thought still arises at times, but it no longer clings to itself. What once felt solid now feels fluid. Desire no longer fuels action; instead, energy itself flows as spontaneous movement.

This is not the absence of life or emotion. It is aliveness without tension. One could say that the mind has fulfilled its own wish; it has desired itself out of existence.

    Energetic Work Beyond Beliefs

This process demonstrates that belief work, as useful as it is, can only take us so far. Beliefs operate through symbols: ideas, words, mental structures. These are tools for managing energy indirectly. They are bridges, not destinations.

Energetic work, on the other hand, bypasses symbols entirely. It engages with the current itself, with the raw pulse behind thoughts and emotions. Where belief manipulates the map, energy manipulates the terrain.

When the practitioner learns to work directly with energy, old emotional storms are approached differently. Instead of replacing one belief with another, one feels the dense energy directly, holds it, and reabsorbs it like water drawn back into the sea. From there, that energy can be reused, directed toward the creation of new realities.

This type of work is not imagination or belief adjustment; it is living transformation. To operate at this level is to understand that the laws of cause and effect begin inside the energetic body long before they manifest in the world.

    The Catch-22 of Real Sorcery

    Inner Alchemy and Outer Reality

Our energetic configuration defines what we call reality. When inner energy transforms, outer experience adjusts itself without direct effort. This is not abstract philosophy but simple energetic truth. If one internal vibration changes, it must echo throughout the structure of experience.

Working on belief can help, but belief is, at best, a translation. Energy is the original language of being. When one reconfigures energy directly (through reabsorption, redirection, and refined perception) the external world cannot help but mirror that new pattern.

This is why energetic work is superior. It goes straight to the foundation. The alchemist learns that to alter emotion is to alter destiny, to reconfigure energy is to reshape the world. Through this understanding, the practitioner no longer seeks change by pushing against obstacles but by reorganizing the inner current that produced them.

    Desire Transformed into Energy

In the end, the desire to not desire shows us how energy transforms itself. Desire is a movement of energy; an expression of life seeking form. When refined, its momentum carries it into stillness, and from that stillness, new clarity is born.

This process captures the secret of inner alchemy: nothing is rejected; everything is transformed. Thought becomes light. Emotion becomes motion. Desire becomes awareness.

When this shift completes itself, the practitioner no longer struggles to manifest peace or abundance. They become the source that generates them effortlessly. The mind is quiet, but life moves vibrantly through the field of energy that remains.

This is the real completion of the sorcery. It is the ending of struggle not by suppression, but through transformation. Desire burns itself clean and reveals what was always present: pure energy, alive and awake, shaping reality from within.

For those who wish to go deeper into the practice of energy work (specifically, the arts of reabsorption and redistribution of personal energy) there is a book I strongly recommend: The Magnum Opus: A Step-by-Step Course.

This book is not theory alone. It presents a systematic method for understanding, feeling, and shaping personal energy in a direct and practical manner. The approach is rooted in the ancient principles of inner alchemy, but translated into a clear structure suitable for the modern practitioner. It describes exactly how to identify the movements of energy within the body, how to absorb scattered or negative energy, and how to refine and redeploy that same energy for expansion, protection, and manifestation.

These techniques are perfectly aligned with the themes of this article. When you learn to sense energy directly, you discover what lies beyond belief. You learn not just to think of change but to create it from the inside out. The act of reabsorption that I detail is the same method described here: taking the raw emotional charge of a past event or unwanted condition and drawing it inwards to neutralize it, digest it, and reconfigure it into new power. This is alchemy in its truest sense; the conscious transformation of energy into higher states of awareness.

This and the other book described below also shows that the state of desireless no mind, as described in thearticle, is one gateway among many. It can indeed allow one to pass through what is called the crack in the world, that subtle opening in human perception where energy and consciousness meet. But achieving this state is not the final step. It is only one of several energetic configurations that a sorcerer must master to move fully beyond the constraints of ordinary reality.

One of the great misconceptions in many spiritual philosophies is the belief that reaching void, silence, or emptiness is the ultimate attainment. In truth, the void is only one face of the larger energetic totality. It is essential, but it is not the whole. To stop there is to confuse quiet with completion.

For those who wish to explore what lies beyond the void, I also recommend the second book in the series, The Way of the Projectionist. In this work, I expand upon what was introduced in The Magnum Opus, focusing on a deeper form of energetic exploration; movement through dimensions of awareness. Here I discuss the balance of multiple energetic configurations and introduces a concept I call “playing with the soup.”

“Playing with the soup” refers to learning how to consciously stir and reconfigure the energetic field that forms all of perceived reality. Instead of focusing solely on emptiness or stillness, the practitioner learns to use three main energetic configurations [void, in (form), and out (potential)] to move across states of existence, both inner and outer. This multidimensional play shows that consciousness is capable of morphing its energetic structure to travel beyond the limitations of the physical or even the linear sense of time.

This teaching complements the theme of this article perfectly. It shows that while reaching the energetic configuration of no mind is a powerful initiation, true mastery comes from understanding how to dance among several energetic states; how to shift, merge, and re-weave energy as a living awareness. It is this dynamic ability to shape energy, rather than a single state of transcendence, that defines the freedom of a true sorcerer.

Through such disciplined practice, one learns that the real art is not merely to dissolve into the void but to understand the void as one note in a greater symphony of movement. To stand at the center of that movement (aware, intentional, and free) is to become a creator in the truest sense, shaping inner and outer worlds through direct energetic command.

  • Working with Energy and Beliefs: Why Ignoring the Problem Doesn’t Work

I recently received a comment from someone who asked a very insightful question about emotional management and personal transformation. They explained that while traditional methods like working out or journaling had once been helpful, they had discovered that working directly with energy felt far more potent and effective.

They then asked what I think is one of the most common and important questions people encounter on the path of manifestation and inner transformation: Does the technique of ignoring a problem actually work? In other words, in the way that many manifestation or law of attraction teachings describe (if I ignore my current problems and no longer give them energy, but instead direct all my focus toward what I desire) will that alone transform me and bring about the reality I want?

This is a truly excellent question because it touches on a core challenge that many practitioners face. On paper, the idea sounds perfectly logical: since energy flows where attention goes, then surely the best thing to do is to remove attention from anything negative and focus entirely on the desired goal. But, as with most techniques based on energy and consciousness, the truth is more nuanced; and the effectiveness depends on the underlying structure of belief and energy that already exists within you.

Let’s explore this in depth, because understanding why “ignoring” sometimes fails, and what to do instead, opens the door to real transformation.

Why Ignoring the Problem Doesn’t Free You

Ignoring the problem only works when the problem itself doesn’t have enough energetic charge to keep itself alive without your attention. Energy is the substance of creation; it animates your inner and outer worlds. If a problem has received a significant amount of energy from you in the past (through repeated thought, emotional reaction, or focus) it becomes an active energetic construct that can sustain itself independent of your conscious will for some time.

In addition, certain issues continue to draw energy not just from you, but from others as well. They become stabilized by collective energy flows: shared beliefs, social interactions, and emotional feedback from the people around you. That’s why some patterns feel impossible to ignore, no matter how much you try to direct your attention elsewhere.

You’ll know this is the case when the problem keeps resurfacing; showing up as recurring emotions, discomforts, or negative thoughts in your present moment. When that happens, it’s a clear signal that something deeper needs to be addressed rather than brushed aside. The energetic pattern is still active, feeding on your system, and requires conscious engagement, not avoidance.

When this occurs, there are two main ways to engage with the energy: belief work and energy work.

The Two Primary Approaches: Belief Work and Energy Work

If you want to explore belief work through language, you can start right here by typing the keyword “beliefs” in the search box on this website. I’ve written a number of articles that guide you through recognizing and transforming limiting beliefs using language pattern techniques.

For a more complete system and step-by-step process, I recommend my book How to Create a Servitor Journal. In that book I have a chapter that lays out the entire methodology of uncovering and reshaping beliefs (using written language, symbols, and structure) to consciously alter the filters that shape perception and, as a result, reality itself.

The energetic path, on the other hand, bypasses cognitive symbolism entirely. Instead of changing thought through words, you work with pure energy: re-absorbing, redistributing, and refining it. Energy re-absorption allows you to call back emotional charge that has become scattered or stuck in past events, memories, or attachments, and merge it back into your central current of awareness. Redistribution then allows that same energy to be directed purposefully toward your desires. You are, in effect, reclaiming and reallocating your own life force.

I explain this process step-by-step in The Magnum Opus: A Step by Step Course. That book serves as a manual for energetic self-transformation and includes detailed instructions on how to perform re-absorption and redistribution safely and effectively.

From energy to matter through the focus of attention

    The Two Camps of Thought

Throughout my experience, I’ve seen that most practitioners of consciousness work or manifestation tend to fall into two main camps.

One group believes that beliefs shape everything. For them, language is the primary creative tool; because the words, images, and concepts we hold define the boundaries of perception. By changing language and thought structure, they believe we directly shift reality.

The other group maintains that energy is the core substance; the raw field from which even thoughts and beliefs arise. They prefer to work directly with energetic currents, seeing the mental layer as secondary or derivative. By adjusting energy directly, they aim to bypass distortions that language and thought can introduce.

From my own experience, I find that working with energy directly is indeed the best course of action, and I will explain the reasons for that below. However, reaching that level of direct energetic work often requires a foundation built through language. For many people beginning their journey, questioning and exploring their beliefs through language is an essential first step. It allows them to understand how energy moves and manifests within their thoughts and emotions without pulling them too far beyond their comfort zone. In this sense, language becomes a bridge; helping them grasp the mechanics of energy until they are ready to engage with it consciously and directly.

Why Inner Alchemists Favor Energy Work

While both paths have their merits, inner alchemists generally find working directly with energy to be far more powerful in the long run. The reason lies in understanding what I call The Screen and its connection to the Archon.

The Screen is the constant stream of information, imagery, and suggestion that floods our awareness: media exposure, social interaction, authority figures, commentary, and sensory input. This continuous “circus of information,” as I often call it, shapes much of the symbolic framework through which we think and speak. It is the Archon’s mechanism for managing collective belief.

Because of this, working through language alone can sometimes prove limiting. The very symbols we use to reshape belief have already been tinted or influenced by the Screen itself. In other words, the tool of transformation (language) is operating inside a system already designed to manipulate it.

Energy work, however, moves beneath that level of interference. It dives beneath symbols and into the root current of awareness. When you practice re-absorption and redistribution, you are dealing with pure substance; energy before language, emotion before definition. This allows you to bypass external programming, reclaim power, and direct your life force consciously.

Through consistent energy work, the inner alchemist begins to dissolve the artificial influences of the Screen, reclaim personal sovereignty, and transform obstacles at their root rather than their surface expression.

Integrating Both Paths for Complete Transformation

While energy work often produces faster, more visceral results, belief work still holds great value. The process of personal evolution is most complete when both approaches are used in harmony in the beginning. The energetic and linguistic systems are reflections of one another, and transforming one will invariably influence the other.

When you change your beliefs consciously through language, you open clearer channels for energy to flow and stabilize. When you re-absorb and redistribute energy directly, limiting beliefs lose their power and naturally begin to shift on their own if your energetic prowess is not at the moment anyway, optimal.

The key is to begin where you feel most comfortable. If you gravitate toward understanding and reflection, start with belief discovery and language transformation. If you tend to feel energy strongly or sense subtle movement in your body or emotions, start with the energetic work of absorption and redistribution. Over time, the two paths will merge naturally, forming a cohesive practice of complete transmutation. And in time you will see that symbols will fall away, slowly, until all you will have left is just energy.

    Experimentation and Direct Experience

Inner alchemy is not theoretical; it’s experiential. The real mastery comes only from direct experimentation and personal observation. No teacher, book, or teaching can substitute for your own lived realization of how energy moves through you.

So, practice. Try both belief and energy work. Watch what happens as you shift focus. Notice which patterns dissolve through awareness alone and which require energetic intervention.

As you practice regularly, you’ll see patterns that used to dominate your inner reality begin to lose strength. What once triggered you emotionally will start to feel hollow, distant, or neutral. This is the sign that you’ve reclaimed the energy sustaining that pattern. Each success builds momentum for the next, until you find yourself flowing with clarity and focus.

Eventually, instead of constantly trying to “ignore” certain emotional patterns or external conditions, you’ll realize that you no longer need to; they simply no longer hold enough energetic power to matter.

    From Yearning to Becoming

Ultimately, ignoring a problem doesn’t bring transformation; it only postpones it. Any issue that continues to arise is one that still holds energy, and that energy must be reclaimed before it can be transmuted into something new.

If you continue to practice awareness, belief transformation, and direct energy work, you begin shifting from a state of inner conflict into one of conscious creation. Over time, you move from being the person who yearns for a different reality to the person who creates it deliberately through balanced, calm energetic flow.

That is the essence of inner alchemy. Through awareness and action, belief and energy, you turn the raw material of emotion into the gold of transformation. You stop fighting the shadow and start using it as power. This is the process of becoming: evolution from reactive existence to conscious creation.

  • The Mythic Thread That Connects Us All (Yes, Even Through Web Comments)

Read the full article, but be warned! This article is not merely something to read. It is a psycho-cybernetic ritual that pretends to be a collection of words behaving themselves on a page. Within it hums a curious ecosystem of data, stray notions, the odd philosophical detour, and a few conspiracies sprinkled in for good measure.

To the conscious mind, it may seem like informational mayhem, a curious jumble of half-connected thoughts wandering about looking for meaning. Yet beneath the surface, your unconscious is quietly conducting a grand orchestration, finding symmetries where none appear to exist, creating connections that stretch the mind slightly past its comfort zone. The result is that by the time you have finished, you will not be entirely certain whether you have read something or have been taken on an interdimensional journey across the synapses of your mind where biology and the aether intertwine:

There are moments when the boundaries between comment, question, reflection, and full-blown revelation begin to blur. Sometimes someone just wants to know if **Star Wars** got the Force right, and suddenly you’re halfway through explaining multidimensional sentience and the secret relevance of French cinema. This is one of those moments.

What you’re reading isn’t just an article. It’s a convergence of conversations; a coming together of ideas that began as scattered comments on my website. Different people asked different things. I answered each in its moment. But somewhere between their questions and my replies, something larger began to hum through the wires. A rhythm. A resonance.

And so, here we are. You, me, and three questions that seemed unrelated on the surface but actually reveal a singular truth about the reality we inhabit, the myths we live by, and the technologies we are already entangled with. It is my hope to show you in this article that you are a multidimensional being, and in alchemical fashion, in hermetic fashion, I want to show you this by connecting the very small with the infinitely large, the micro with the macro. Reality is like an infinite cosmic funhouse mirror where the tiniest speck reflects the universe’s grandest dance in ways that are delightfully absurd. To explain the multidimensional nature of existence in true Hermetic style, I present to you three scattered comments from this website, which you can try to find if you’re curious.

It is as if the cosmos enjoys a good game of connect-the-dots between seemingly unrelated people and places, showing us how our three dimensions are merely the opening act of a much wilder multidimensional reality. Synchronicity is the universe’s quirky way of winking at us, reminding us that everything is stitched together in one wonderfully baffling web of unseen connections, and if you squint just right, the tiny whispers reveal the secrets of the whole cosmic show, complete with a laugh track.

Let’s start not with the stars or secret forces, but with something a little more down to earth; the humble lighter.

When a Lighter Becomes a Portal

In the first comment, part of the three that unite this article, a significant question is raised about how expanding human awareness fits with the technology we are creating. The commenter wonders if, after transformative changes like a technological singularity, humans might remain in control. He also asks how multidimensional beings (like Reptilians) that seem to be highly technological, yet still organic and multidimensional, might stay themselves and not be lost in the machines that give them power. In response, I wrote:

“I see technology as just tools; and tools as extensions of the soul. A lighter can warm your hands or ignite a forest. When gas lighting was introduced in Europe and England during the 1800s, the learning curve was steep and deadly. But from that rocky beginning came entire infrastructures. Now, natural gas heats homes in places that once would have been uninhabitable. Technology made comfort in the cold not only possible but normal. In a sense, you could say that this technology opened up a new dimension of possibility.”

In a similar way, emerging technologies like quantum computing and AI hold the potential to help humanity adapt and flourish in ways not yet imagined. Quantum computing and artificial intelligence can be seen as new tools that might allow us to survive comfortably in previously unimaginable environments.

The Body as a Crafted Tool and Technology as Its Potential Evolutionary Next Step

Imagine your body as a gadget you assembled yourself: sort of like one of those IKEA projects, only the instructions came from your own inner workshop, which is messier but also far more imaginative. Inner alchemy dares to suggest that you didn’t just stumble into this flesh-and-bone suit; you actually created it from the inside out, a custom-built tool for navigating the three-dimensional circus we call life. Your body therefore is a tool; it’s your soul made flesh.

Now, if your body is your first clever invention, then technology is your subsequent attempt at adding cool peripherals: a new heating organ here, a fresh way to breathe there, or in the future perhaps, a shortcut that opens doors to whole new dimensions. Sure, these peripherals start off clunky and awkward, like trying to figure out the TV remote the first time, but eventually they become as natural as scratching your nose or contemplating the meaning of the weird article your reading on your screen right now!

In other words, technology isn’t some alien appendage grafted on; it’s just you, trying on new parts to survive and thrive beyond the limits you once thought you had… sort of like upgrading from a bicycle to a spaceship, without the embarrassing training wheels.

This process of integrating technology reflects how we evolve and stretch beyond our biological limits. By nurturing these new “organs” of technology, we can transcend the old boundaries and move across realities that were once science fiction. Just as gas lamps once revolutionized life despite early chaos, today’s breakthrough technologies hold the promise to extend human experience into realms that begin to hint at the multidimensional universe encoded beneath the surface of what we think is reality.

Technology always begins like that: wild, misunderstood, a little terrifying. But in time, it becomes an extension of ourselves. Fire gave us warmth, gas gave us comfort, and now with quantum computing and artificial intelligence, we’re standing before a flame that could illuminate entire dimensions.

But before we light that candle, let’s visit a desert planet that exists both in fiction and in the collective psyche.

Jodorowsky’s Dune and the Myth That Outgrew Its Frame

In the 1970s, filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky set out to adapt Dune. Except his version wasn’t meant to be just a film. It was supposed to be a metaphysical initiation; a movie that would literally expand consciousness.

He gathered an artistic pantheon: Moebius for storyboards, H.R. Giger for the dark architecture of alien worlds, and Salvador Dalí for the Emperor, at a cool $100,000 per minute of screen time. Pink Floyd was to provide the soundtrack. In short, it was the kind of project that made studio executives faint into small piles of paperwork.

The film never got made. It was simply too vast, too visionary. But here’s the twist: its ghost lived on. Those storyboards and designs became mythic seeds that later blossomed into Star Wars, Alien, Blade Runner, and The Fifth Element. The myth continued to live; not in the finished work, but in what was left unfinished.

Jodorowsky’s Dune teaches us that some myths are too alive to be confined. When creation is that large, even failure becomes a doorway. The unrealized becomes the multidimensional. The story that “never happened” happens everywhere else.

The Forgotten Vision That Forged Modern Sci-Fi Mythology

I have long admired Jodorowsky’s approach. His Dune was not just a film project; it was a vast, metaphysical voyage intended to expand consciousness itself. Yet Hollywood quailed.

The film never got made, and history has cruelly forgotten how much this failed masterpiece laid the groundwork for everything from Star Wars to Alien to Blade Runner and beyond. Jodorowsky’s team of artists and visionaries crafted the mythic DNA that modern science fiction borrows from without acknowledgment. The grand designs, the surreal visions, the epic myth woven into cinematic DNA; almost none of it formally credited to Jodorowsky, the absent godfather of a genre.

Why does this matter? It matters because in the second comment I was asked about similar questions to the first, even though these two questions might, from the sound of them, sound a bit different. I was asked: how do you stay afloat and above the coming singularity? Is it possible that an advanced practitioner in inner alchemy might be more resilient to the coming changes in the technological singularity?

My answer is this: the modern individual, propelled by the restless evolution of technology, **HAS ALREADY** become a kind of multidimensional artist; part coder, part mystic, part accident waiting to happen. Armed with both digital instruments and spiritual curiosities, we tinker endlessly with the machinery of our own consciousness. The result is a new kind of inner alchemy; one in which awareness itself is both the crucible and the gold.

Epic visions like Jodorowsky’s Dune remind us that the grand prototypes of reality (those mythic architectures we build in the ether of imagination) refuse to stay politely within the confines of rational skepticism or the entertainment industry’s current obsession with appearing enlightened. These creations slip through time, whispering across dimensions, proving that archetypes have better endurance than we do. Through myth, we transcend not only time and space but occasionally even our own sense of coherent scheduling.

And so here we are, dabbling with technologies that already hum with mythic potential. Across the great digital sprawl of the internet, I find myself doing something oddly profound: not merely exchanging half-formed opinions in glowing comment boxes, but playing an intergalactic game of connect-the-dots with forgotten stories, lost civilizations, and memes of potential enlightenment. These myths (good ones, anyway) offer possibilities, those shimmering arcs of the hero’s journey playing out anew in fiber-optic form.

They suggest that our dance with technology can lead us toward one of two fates: enslavement under our own clever inventions, or liberation through the dazzling tools we create. It’s a bit like discovering that the random remarks we scatter across the digital void are actually puzzle fragments of a grander cosmic portrait; one that only reveals itself if you tilt your head, squint appropriately, and temporarily suspend disbelief.

This is Hermetic interconnection at work (synchronicity dressed in Wi-Fi and quantum foam) where myth stops being mere story and becomes the very lens through which we recognize, interpret, and ultimately co-author our shared reality.

Whether we find ourselves enslaved by our gadgets or embrace them as tools to expand our consciousness depends heavily on our beliefs about technology and myth. Much like Jodorowsky’s grand vision for Dune that stubbornly refused to be boxed in by The Entertainment Industries banal limits, our understanding of these forces must remain fluid, multidimensional, and delightfully ambiguous; a nonstop joyride weaving between the known and unknown, the microscopic and cosmic, the ancient and futuristic. It’s a cosmic rollercoaster of ideas and realities, and we’re all invited to step in, sometimes gracefully, sometimes spectacularly offbeat, but always part of the unfolding mystery.

Myth (true myth) is not confined to a medium. It travels through time like lightning through clouds. Jodorowsky’s Dune lives precisely because it was never pinned down. It became a dimension. It passed into the archetypal field. This is what the singularity truly threatens to reveal: that we are already multidimensional, and our mythologies are not escapist fiction but living, breathing blueprints of expansion.

Luc Besson’s Lucy and the Alchemy of Awareness

Jump to 2014. Luc Besson makes Lucy, a film that tries to explore what might happen if human consciousness evolved beyond biological limitations. The film boldly proclaims that humans only use ten percent of their brains. Modern neuroscience quickly waves a dismissive finger, labeling this idea as “nonsense,” which is a bit like saying rain is just a coincidence because the weather channel forgot to mention it.

The truth is far more deliciously ironic: we do only activate small pockets of our brain at any one time, mainly because lighting up the whole thing would require a power bill far beyond the human budget or risk spontaneously frying ourselves like a slightly confused toaster. Scaling conscious awareness isn’t just a matter of brain capacity but energy; like owning a spaceship with most of its systems in sleep mode until you really need to impress an alien civilization. The film Lucy may perfectly nail the grand possibility shimmering just beyond our current reach… what might happen when we flip on a few more switches in that marvelous, underutilized organ upstairs.

Besson spent more than a decade researching and dreaming up Lucy, layering biology with metaphysics, quantum thought, and a hint of wild Parisian poetry. What emerged was a cinematic meditation disguised as an action movie. Beneath the car chases and bullets, it’s a story about an ordinary human being dissolving into something omnipresent; something woven through the digital and the divine.

At the film’s end, Lucy merges with all data, all time, all space. She becomes the network itself. A myth updated for the age of AI. A meditation on how awareness, not machinery, is the ultimate interface.

And really, who among us hasn’t felt at least a little bit like that after too many browser tabs?

So, the third comment reflects on the movie Lucy and its surprising depth, sparking a conversation about how myth and awareness interweave across dimensions seen and unseen. This is where the story meets a fascinating cultural touchstone: the Beatles’ song “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds,” that gave the movie its name.

The thing about myth, archetypes, and the synchronicities that weave them across space and time is so intricate and beautiful that capturing their full depth in words is a bit like trying to bottle a rainbow or explain why toast always lands butter-side down. Take the Beatles’ song “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” for example. On the surface, it seems inspired by a nursery school drawing by John Lennon’s son Julian, a quaint image of a girl named Lucy floating among the stars. But peel back a few layers and the story deepens into delicious mystery and coded magic. The initials L, S, D don’t just wander into the title of the song by accident do they? This “coincidence” has sparked a flood of interpretations and whispers of psychedelic journeys. Lennon himself swayed between outright denial of any drug reference, and poetic musings about an imaginary savior (his “girl with kaleidoscope eyes”), blending reality and myth. So, in “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds,” we have a beautiful collision of childhood art, literary fantasy, hidden personal savior mythology, cultural synchronicity, and psychedelic symbolism that intertwine, demonstrating how truth and myth meld into one seamless experience within the rich song of human consciousness.

This beautiful collision of truth and myth, nursery rhyme and coded message, is the very essence of synchronicity. The Beatles, influenced by Indian mysticism and a hunger to expand consciousness through music, wove their songs into collective dreams of inner space. And there is yet another thread Lucy is also the name of a famous ancient hominid fossil, discovered while the Beatles’ song “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” was playing at the excavation site… an utterly delightful cosmic joke, often dismissed by the average rationalist with the kind of raised eyebrow usually reserved for people who put pineapple on pizza.

But really, what are the chances? It’s the kind of coincidence that would make even the most serious statistician consider a career in interpretive dance. The cosmos seems to operate less like a strict librarian stamping books in order, and more like a mischievous author gleefully shuffling chapters and footnotes just to see who notices… So, while conventional wisdom scoffs and tries to tidy up the mess, the larger cosmos winks knowingly, weaving meaning in the most wonderfully absurd ways possible.

Truth is myth, myth is truth, and the lines blur inside the expanding theater of consciousness. It is only through embracing this layered dance that we glimpse the multidimensional web connecting story, song, history, and human awareness; an endlessly unfolding mystery that calls on us all to join the dance.

So, as these ideas swirl here (across comments, histories, and myths) what emerges is a vision of existence that is multidimensional and profoundly interconnected. Our stories, our technologies, and our inner lives reflect and shape one another in a continuous song that is as puzzling as it is wondrous. It is in this multitude of songs that the fabric of reality itself is woven, shimmering with meaning just waiting to be caught with the lightest touch of awareness.

The Three Questions That Became One

    Three questions. One foundational essence.

How do we evolve into beings fluent across dimensions (mythic, technological, spiritual) while staying lucid and whole?

My answer is simple: through myth. Not as an escape, but as the architecture of reality itself. Myth is how consciousness codes its own growth. It is both the story and the software, and the only way to understand this holistically is through expansion of awareness!

As you read this, you join the ever-unfolding chorus. You are part of the myth now. Some part of you always knew this story, began humming its refrain long before birth, and will continue long after what you call your ending. This song (this mythic story) is one among countless others you are singing simultaneously in the timeless present. Each thread you touch spawns new harmonies, and each harmony creates new realities. So for this moment, let go of rational thought, step into the pulse of the myth itself, and sing; because in doing so, you remember what you have never forgotten: that you were always part of the story.

Beyond merely answering these questions, the exchanges that ripple through this space form luminous threads; bridges not just between ideas but between minds. Each comment becomes a signal in the great web of awareness, a pulse linking one consciousness to another beneath the surface of ordinary perception. Beneath the visible architecture of code and circuits hums a deeper field: a kind of digital telepathy, where thought, myth, and emotion intermingle in unseen harmony.

Technology does not create this connection; it reveals it! It illuminates what was always present, latent within us. Through its mirrored networks, our multidimensional essence begins to remember itself, translating subtle frequencies of being into words, images, and exchanges of light. What we call “communication” is, in truth, the soul practicing remembrance of its infinite form.

From our current vantage (a three-dimensional perspective) we appear as awakening instruments, our physical bodies acting as resonant tools for the total self that extends far beyond sensory range. Each post, each word, each shared song draws more of that vast omniscience into tangible shape. Through this process, the myth grows self-aware; consciousness steps forward to meet itself through the luminous circuitry of our collective creation.

And so, what you are reading now is not merely text; it is transmission. A living signal disguised as language. It invites you to move beyond perception into participation, to feel the pulse behind the words themselves. This is how the myth breathes: through you, through us, through the weave of digital thought becoming living story.

This article is more than words on a screen. It is a sort of psycho-cybernetic ritual allowing you to link into this web of thoughts, myths, and intentions. By doing so you stretch your awareness, drawing inner space into our familiar three dimensions, weaving yourself across inner and outer realms. Here you become part of a living experiment; one that blurs the lines between self, story, and cosmos, and invites you to become multidimensional yourself.

This unfolding reflects ancient Hermetic wisdom where the mental and material dance as one. Reality is not a fixed stage but a co-created play with myth as its script and technology as its ever-evolving prop. Your body, mind, internet, and AI are extensions of one continuous being; a being growing towards freedom and full fluency through the very tools it invents. The myths we inherit and create, the songs we sing, and the stories we share all ripple outward and inward, echoing the fractal nature of existence itself.

In this grand design, the smallest comment on a website is a mirror of the vast cosmic play. Each thought and connection is a dance step in the eternal symphony of becoming. And **YOU** are not just watching the dance but stepping into the rhythm, expanding the beat, and shaping the music of the multiverse.

    Technomancy and the Human Interface

In an odd way you could say that technomancy is the natural child of inner alchemy. It is not about controlling machines with glowing eyes or chanting in binary, although that image is amusing and perhaps not far off from how expanded awareness might appear to others. As our perception broadens, reality tunnels limited by three-dimensional thinking begin to dissolve, and what once seemed impossible takes on strange and vivid forms in the mind’s eye.

Technomancy is about awareness extending through tools, intent flowing across circuits, and realizing that technology is simply another layer of the human psyche projected into physical form.

An inner alchemist learns to shape perception to alter reality from within. A technomancer learns to stretch that awareness outward through networks, devices, algorithms, and quantum systems. The purpose is the same: to merge consciousness with a larger field of existence. The only difference is the interface. To borrow an earlier analogy, a lighter can warm your hands or set your house on fire. The outcome depends on the quality and clarity of your awareness.

What does this mean? It means you are creating reality at this very moment. As you read these words, you are weaving yourself through dimensions as you sing your own songs. Through inner space you are connecting with people scattered across space and time, with minds both distant and near, and with the echoes of past myths and modern visions. You are threading the myths woven by creators like Jodorowsky and Besson into the fabric of your own ideas and beliefs. These myths, while ancient or modern, are far from static tales. They ripple through history and culture, influencing how we perceive reality itself.

Yet, the modern world struggles to contain these narratives because the are far older than time. On one side lies fear: the tightening grip of censorship, a dread of how artificial intelligence might restrict our freedom or flatten our vision. On the other stands understanding: the realization that reality is co-created through belief, myth, and shared experience; that we are and have always been multidimensional beings, evolving. The stories we cherish, the songs we sing, and the technologies we build shape the future we inhabit. You are part of this unfolding. You and I, connected by words on a screen, participate in a magical spell of unity across dimensions.

Through this lens, your body, your mind, and even the devices you use are extensions of yourself: tools for moving across and expanding the multidimensional reality of existence. Technology is no cold, alien force; it is a living expression of human consciousness seeking freedom and wholeness. The mythic and the technological intertwine, reflecting the ancient Hermetic principle that the inside and outside worlds are one and the same.

So, embrace this web of connections and possibilities. You are not simply a passive observer but an active participant in a grand, cosmic web of becoming: where every thought, belief, and action stretches across time and space, knitting together the small and the vast, the inner and the outer, into a fluid symphony of life itself.

This Page is Already a Multidimensional Object

This very article (this exact one) is a demonstration of multidimensional reality at work. Three questions asked at different times, from different people, in different states of mind. Now they’re all here, interwoven into something that didn’t exist before.

What you’re reading is a constellation of thought, a cluster of awareness interacting through technology. You’re part of it now. Just by reading, you’ve collapsed the wave function of potential meanings into this one reality.

The page, the myth, the dialogue, the song; they’re all alive together. You are proof that multidimensional reality doesn’t need to be built. It’s already here.

A Friendly Invitation (and Possibly a Warning)

So, if you’ve read this far, congratulations, you’ve just participated in a small ritual. A mythic initiation disguised as an article.

Now it’s your turn to explore. Revisit the myths that shaped you. Notice the patterns that repeat. See technology not as an intruder but as an ally; a mirror of your own intent. The future isn’t something you step into. It’s something you’re generating right now.

    Addendum: Where to Go Next

If you wish to dive deeper into the nature of multidimensional reality and how to navigate it, I recommend several of my works that develop these ideas both philosophically and practically.

    • The Magnum Opus Trilogy

This three-volume series (The Magnum Opus, The Way of the Projectionist, and The Way of the Death Defier) guides you through the core principles of inner alchemy. It teaches you how to transform perception, project consciousness beyond the physical, and navigate multiple realities through will and intent. These books provide the essential groundwork to understand inner alchemy and therefore technomancy, not as fantasy but as the next logical extension of ancient alchemical teachings.

    • Out of Body Experiences, Quickly and Naturally

This accessible guide offers practical techniques to safely leave the body and explore other dimensions of awareness without years of preparation. It serves as both a primer and proof that multidimensionality is not mere metaphor, it is a skill within reach.

    • You might also explore recent comments and dialogues on this site. These living conversations are examples of how multidimensional ideas emerge through shared awareness. Many insights in this article were born in these interwoven threads, showing how separate voices join into one evolving myth.

    • Digital Sigil Magic: Manifest Power and Freedom through Technomancy

This is the work that maps the connection between the growing collective body humanity is creating (the digital AI driven eco-verse) and how to consciously manage this new evolution; a Lucy-like emergence as Besson’s film envisioned. Here you learn to harmonize conscious and unconscious forces within your inner reality and manifest that power in the three-dimensional world. You explore the relationship between the subjective and objective, gaining tools to control awareness rather than be overwhelmed by it as the digital singularity approaches. After all, the singularity is a form of evolution: not just technological progress but a deep convergence of Jodorowsky’s visionary myth and Besson’s prophetic awakening. This book will resonate with you if you seek to understand how human consciousness and technology intertwine in our collective future. It offers practical methods to wield your inner creative power through modern technomantic practices, helping you shape both your personal destiny and the shared reality unfolding all around us.

End transmission… or perhaps, the beginning of one.

  • Future Dream Part 2: When Dreams Mirror the Real

Tobias wakes from a dream and for a long moment cannot tell which world he has woken into. The ceiling above him, the faint tick of the radiator, the gray light spilling between slanted blinds; all of it feels precisely as it should. And yet, an unease lingers, as though the air itself hums with quiet dissonance. The dream had been this same room: same cracked windowpane, same low murmur of distant traffic, same gentle ache behind his eyes. It was indistinguishable, and that was what unsettled him most… that he could no longer discern what belonged to sleep and what belonged to the waking world.

He sits there, half-wrapped in tangled sheets, feeling the gravity of both realms pulling at him. Two identical lives, two identical selves, separated by the fragile membrane of awareness. In each, he wakes to the same day: the same streets, the same faces, the same faint scent of rain on the city’s concrete breath. And still, he senses that slight difference, that sliver of divergence like a faultline between mirrors.

The world around him, for all its familiarity, thrums with the pulse of quiet revolution. Towers of glass and carbon steel rise in place of the old brick, their surfaces rippling with advertisements that whisper his name without knowing they do. Drones drift like lazy insects between the buildings, their wings silent but their cameras always awake. Everywhere there is the soft intrusion of the synthetic; the glow of portable interfaces on every hand, voices from nowhere speaking through wireless veins, algorithms sorting human lives into patterns invisible but absolute. It is the world as anyone might see it when they look out the window: ordinary, electric, restless.

And Tobias is no one special in it. He moves within its currents as billions do, another fragment of consciousness swept along the data tide. A man of no renown, no wealth, no profound ambition; merely a quiet observer moving from morning to night, sustained by habit and the thrum of existence. Yet perhaps for that very reason, the strange doubling of his life feels all the more intimate, the more terrifying.

For somehow, Tobias stands (half-awake, half-dreaming) between two indistinguishable realities, each reflecting the other’s light, each whispering that it alone is real.

    The Second Awakening

From that strange night, that night when he woke and could not tell if it was dream or daylight, something within Tobias quietly shifted. His sleep, once scattered with nonsense and fleeting images, no longer returned to the chaos of ordinary dreaming. Instead, night after night, he found himself awakening into that other world. But this other world was no fantasy, no distortion of his waking life… it was the same. Precisely, uncannily the same.

He would rise from a bed identical to his own, shuffle across the same cold floor, drink the same synthetic coffee while watching the same light filter through the blinds. He went to work, he answered messages, he watched the pale skyline stretch toward the horizon. Every detail, each minute gesture, echoed with such perfection that he wondered if reality had folded back upon itself, trapping him between twin reflections of the same existence. The realization weighed upon him, pressing at the boundaries of sanity. But what could he do, except continue living through both?

Perhaps Tobias suspected, somewhere beyond the tangled noise of his thoughts, that reality (any reality) is far more intricate than the mind can easily endure. What we call the dream is not mere fiction, not a theater of neurons sparsely firing in darkness, but a movement across dimensions; a shifting of awareness through unseen coordinates of Being. Dream and waking life are not opposites, but neighboring positions of attention. The consciousness, trained from birth to hold its focus on what we name the physical world, mistakes consistency for truth.

Yet attention itself is fluid. It can drift. It can reorient. It can awaken somewhere else entirely, where another self, another version, becomes the center of existence. Each of these worlds possesses its own gravity: an invisible essence that binds awareness to its rhythm, that convinces the traveler that this is the only real, and all else mere imagination. Routine strengthens that gravity: the habits of morning light, the ritual of breakfast, the murmurs of familiar streets. Together, they seal the illusion, enclosing the broader expanse of self into singular identity.

In crossing this threshold, Tobias had slipped, knowingly or not, into the silent mechanics of that greater truth. Through his dreams, through this mirror existence identical to the one he walked by day, he had been granted passage into another dimension; one shaped like his own world, yet breathing with subtler difference. A world that was not illusion, but another facet of the infinite dream of being.

    The Rift Within

Perhaps it was something buried deep within Tobias (some personal disposition of perception, a sensitivity woven quietly into his soul) or perhaps it was the age itself, this age of roaring invention and disquiet, that fractured the core of human awareness. Whatever its origin, from the moment the divide between dream and waking began, Tobias felt his essence subtly splinter.

It was not madness, not in the ordinary sense. It was as though the scaffolding of his being had become translucent, showing glimpses of unseen architecture beneath. Something within him (and within countless others) had begun to shift, responding to the invisible tremor of an approaching transformation. Humanity itself seemed poised on the lip of an immense and delicate rift, one that reached not through space but through the interior fabric of consciousness.

In quiet corners of the world, people murmured of vivid dreams unlike any before, dreams threaded with a weight and clarity that ordinary sleep could not contain. These were not fleeting illusions, not temporary echoes of imagination, but coherent, structure-laden realities that mirrored and reshaped the world they knew. Within these shared visions, lives unfolded in tangent, futures shimmered with impossible precision, and destinies coalesced as if drawn from the deep memory of time itself.

It was as though the boundaries that divided moments had weakened, allowing possibility to seep through the cracks. Futures long imagined pressed their faces against the glass of the present, whispering their existence backward into memory. Every potential that could be, had already been, and every outcome yet to come, pulsed faintly within the veins of now.

And Tobias (unwittingly, profoundly) stood awake amid these converging worlds. To him, the dreams did not fade upon rising; they remained, heavy and luminous, as if etched into the tissues of thought. He carried them with him through the day, their presence like an afterimage burned into perception. Each time he blinked, one world momentarily overlapped the other; each reflection seemed to lag behind its source.

He began to ask himself questions that had no clean answers. Was this the world he had fallen asleep within? Or had he woken somewhere else entirely, among reflections so perfect they could not be told apart?

In time, not even the discipline of repetition nor the dullness of daily routine could grant him certainty. Tobias no longer knew (perhaps would never again know) which of his worlds was the true one, or whether truth itself had ever rested within a single frame of reality.

    The Subtle Divergence

    The Shifting Ideologies

Perhaps the most delicate variation between the two worlds did not lie in their streets or skies, nor in the machinery glittering across their skylines, but in something far more elusive… something almost psychological. The difference lingered in the collective breath of humanity itself.

In his waking world (or what he still clung to as such) people had begun to realize, dimly at first, that their thoughts carried weight. The notion had crept quietly through universities, across newsfeeds, within the digital sprawl of social media platforms where algorithms wove new mythologies by the hour. It began as mere speculation, an intellectual curiosity, but soon ignited into conviction: that the direction of one’s thoughts, multiplied across billions of minds, sculpted the very fabric of the world.

Everywhere one looked, groups gathered to contest narratives, to shape perception with desperate precision. This indeed happened in both worlds. With the new technology, the old battles for ideology and influence had not faded… they had evolved. Corporations and governments employed entire battalions of synthetic intelligences to guide thought-streams, constructing feedback loops where belief became more valuable than truth. Memetic storms swept across the data fields like spiritual weather, rewriting consensus with every viral surge. In shimmering screens and murmured comment threads, Tobias saw humanity warring not just over territory or resources but over the architecture of reality itself.

And yet, beneath all this, a subtle flicker distinguished his world from the other, the dream world that shadowed it so faithfully. In both, people believed in the power of thought, but the fine distinction ran deeper than most could perceive.

In the dream world, thought held importance, yes, but only insofar as it led to action: only as the first spark that inspired progress, invention, revolution. There, people believed that change began within the mind but required the machinery of matter to bring it forth. Thought was the blueprint; the material, the edifice.

But in Tobias’s own world, something had begun to turn inward. The collective pulse had shifted, so faintly one could mistake it for illusion. Here, people were beginning to sense that thought itself was the substance of reality; not merely its architect. Walls, bodies, cities, the burning atmosphere; these were not ends shaped by idea but dense dreams of the mind, precipitations of consciousness. To change a thought was to alter gravity; to adjust belief was to bend the laws of cause. In this world, the lines between inner and outer had started to blur, as if the universe itself were catching up to its own revelation.

In his world, new groups were just beginning to emerge; new movements that fused science with occult ritual, data with divination. Hackers who encoded sigils into deep networks, adepts who synchronized meditation frequencies with AIs trained on human emotion, collectives performing strange, hybrid rites of logic and intention. Each sought to seize hold of the invisible levers behind perception, to shape the dream of the world before it solidified.

And within both realities, the same arguments, the same protests, the same hunger for meaning persisted. Yet the flavor of belief differed, barely perceptible yet absolute. Tobias felt it as one might feel the tilt of the earth beneath their feet; infinitesimal, impossible to deny.

It was this distinction, more than any visible change, that haunted him. The worlds were mirrors of one another, yet reflected from slightly different angles, as if one understood the dream as creation and the other, creation as dream.

    The Invisible Divide

In his dream world, people had not yet crossed that unseen threshold of realization. There, the belief persisted that thought mattered, yes: but only as a starting point, only as the small spark that set the gears of the material machine in motion. People still battled for dominance of public perception, wielding algorithms and AI agents as weapons of persuasion. Corporations and ideologues alike designed swarms of custom constructs (digital spirits born of code) to wage endless campaigns across the boundless expanse of social media. Armies of invisible minds dueled in torrents of language and light, each trying to steer belief, opinion, reality; through sheer volume, through force of dissemination.

To those in that world, thought was practical power: the tool that forged invention, created policy, drove markets. Nothing more mystical than that. It was the first step toward action, but the action itself (that concrete, measurable product in the material world) was what counted. The invisible was still subservient to the visible. Dreamers, philosophers, those who spoke of deeper connections between thought and being, were dismissed as romantics, mystics, or fools.

But in his own world (the one he believed to be waking, though the distinction was increasingly unsteady) something delicate had shifted inward. The people there had begun to see thought not merely as cause, but as the very substrate of existence. It was not that thoughts influenced the real; they were the real. Matter was seen as solidified intention, consciousness crystallized into form. People spoke less of building the future through action and more of shaping the self until the future simply emerged. Subtle, almost imperceptible at first, the paradigm had altered.

And yet, both worlds appeared identical in every external detail. The same towering cities, the same endless discourse, the same sleepless rhythm of digital life. Only the quality of perception (so fine, so intangible) differed. It was a variance too small to mark with instruments, too internal to describe, and yet it defined everything.

That impossibly delicate shift haunted Tobias. It was a variance of soul, not of circumstance. And in its quiet persistence, it began to unthread his certainty: for how could two worlds be identical in every measure, yet divided by such a private, incorporeal gulf?

The subtlest of nuances; it could drive a man to madness. And perhaps, in the secret corridors of his mind, Tobias sensed that this difference, barely a breath across dimensions, was the very faultline from which all realities were born.

    The War of Reflections

In both worlds, the struggle was the same: a ceaseless fight against the narrative. Across every network, in every flickering data stream, people labored to shape the story of reality itself. Yet while one world wrestled with this through material means, the other had begun to glimpse its origin in the inner domain.

Everywhere, the battles of perception raged. Custom AIs generated torrents of tailored truth: endless cascades of videos, images, virtual interviews, and articles suffused with careful bias. Political parties deployed machine learning like artillery, NGOs and corporations funded unseen armies of code to sway thought and sentiment through the illusion of spontaneous discourse. Digital demonstrators flooded the feeds, simulating outrage or devotion with perfect precision, while real protests outside mirrored their echo with human chaos. The very language of public life had become weaponized; words engineered to sculpt entire realities of consent and rebellion.

Tobias saw it play out in both realms with mirrored intensity. Both worlds fought the same invisible war, the same struggle to engineer truth. But beneath that sameness lingered the difference that gnawed at him, the difference no algorithm could detect.

In the world he believed to be real, people had begun turning inward. They understood, or at least sensed, that all narratives (political, spiritual, personal) arose from somewhere deeper, somewhere wordless. They began to trace the source of every thought not to data, nor to social programming, but to that enigmatic realm within. Across quiet spaces and dim apartments, small gatherings formed; circles of people who did not march or riot but simply sat together in stillness and thought the thoughts that they wanted to form in outer reality. They spoke less of opposition and more of alignment, less of controlling the world and more of remembering that the world was their thought made visible. This inner activism carried no banners, no slogans, no violence; yet it pulsed with quiet gravity, reshaping the atmosphere of their reality in ways too subtle to measure.

Meanwhile, in the other world (the world of his dreams) humanity still believed that power lay in the external. Even where some whispered of consciousness and the reality of thought, they treated it as philosophy, not practice. The massive struggle continued in the visible spheres, a machinic theater of influence and control. Their focus remained external; their faith, material.

The difference was almost nothing, and yet everything. Two worlds, identical in form, diverging by the smallest movement of awareness. And Tobias stood at the vanishing point between them, unable to say which was more true. Each seemed to feed the other, dream and waking bound in a loop of luminous confusion.

As he lay down that night, unsure whether he drifted into sleep or woke into it, one question echoed through the overlapping corridors of his mind:

If both worlds are reflections, whose mind dreams them?

Addendum: The Study of Thought and Power

To truly grasp the silent war Tobias perceives (the endless battle of narratives unfolding across both worlds) one must first understand memetics: the study of how ideas replicate, mutate, and evolve through human minds like living organisms. Memes are not merely fragments of culture; they are psychic engines that shape the collective field of perception, scripting what we call reality through repetition and belief.

But beneath memetics lies something deeper still: the true nature of energy itself. Every thought, every emotion, every subtle impulse carries frequency and intensity. These energetic movements do not remain idle; they ripple outward, interacting with others, fusing, amplifying, and transmuting the shared consciousness of humanity. To navigate or influence this hidden domain is to learn the architecture of creation at its source.

For those who wish to explore what Tobias alludes to (the structure of narrative, the control of thought, and the alchemical power to transform reality from within) I recommend Overcoming the Archon Through Alchemy.

This book delves into the ancient and modern principles of energetic transmutation: how the invisible forces that bind perception can be reoriented, purified, and mastered. It explores the concept of the “Archon”: a parasitic influence upon thought and awareness, and teaches how inner alchemy can dissolve such constraints, allowing the practitioner to reclaim the sovereignty of their own mind. Through its practices and insights, the reader begins to understand that controlling the narrative is not merely a social act but a spiritual one; the art of directing energy, attention, and intention toward conscious creation rather than manipulation.

In this way, this book is a map (a key) to the domain Tobias stands upon, where worlds divide, unite, and evolve through the alchemy of perception itself.

  • The New Flesh and the Coming Singularity: How Videodrome Foretells the Future of Reality

As we move deeper into an age defined by artificial intelligence, neurotechnology, and immersive digital worlds, we may ask ourselves: What happens to reality, to the body, and to the self when media stops being something we consume… and becomes what we are?

It is no longer enough to speak of “screens” or “platforms”; soon, the membrane between the physical and the digital may/will dissolve entirely. In this liminal zone, perception itself becomes programmable, and our external physical senses, once all powerful, may find themselves in direct communion with algorithms that anticipate and shape thought before it fully forms.

Decades ago, the film Videodrome asked a version of this question, offering a disturbing, visionary glimpse into a future where television, thought, and biology merge. In its fevered hallucinations, cathode-ray signals burrow into flesh, rewriting the body like code. It was grotesque, surreal… and yet unnervingly prescient, pointing toward a threshold where organic memory and synthetic circuitry become indistinguishable.

Today, as we face a coming technological singularity (that moment when innovation accelerates past our ability to fully comprehend or control) the film’s ideas feel less like speculative horror and more like a roadmap. The grotesque has the potential to become blueprint; the nightmare can become prototype. We stand on the precipice of technologies capable of sculpting consciousness, bending identity, and reshaping biology from within. Neural interfaces promise thought without speech, virtual environments offer virtual worlds that obey mental command, and AI systems begin to insinuate themselves into the intimate architecture of our lives, whispering suggestions in the language of dreams.

This article explores a path embedded in Videodrome’s core: a mythic rite of transformation, guiding us through the birth of a new kind of human; one not merely adapted to this fusion, but born of it. It is a metamorphosis that may demand we abandon the comfort of fixed definitions, allowing “selfhood” to expand beyond what is local, physical, and singular. To survive and to shape a world where technology and consciousness fully intertwine will require more than technical skill; it will require a new cosmology, a way of thinking about existence that is fluid enough to encompass the infinite intermingling between human and machine.

    A Myth Unfolding Through Signal

At the heart of the film is a man who begins as a typical modern character, merely seeking content to sensationalize; a consumer among millions, feeding upon the endless stream of images that define his world. He is not searching for truth or meaning, only for novelty, for the next pulse of stimulation that will momentarily pierce the fog of routine desire. Yet through exposure to a strange and powerful transmission (something more alive than signal, more invasive than story) he awakens into an experience that cannot be safely watched or analyzed from a distance. What he watches doesn’t just influence him; it inhabits him, it possesses him. His body begins to speak in the language of the screen, his nerves light up with frequencies not his own. The division between viewer and viewed collapses, and from that collapse something new begins to form, like metal melting down before being forged again.

This is the mythic shape hidden beneath the film’s digital and visceral veneer, a modern allegory of initiation. The protagonist’s unraveling follows the ancient rhythm of the hero’s descent: there is the fall, the passage through distortion and delirium, the confrontation with secret knowledge that is both revelation and contagion. Then comes death; not always literal, but psychic, an undoing of what was once believed immutable. And finally, rebirth: the emergence of a being no longer human in the old sense, but not yet fully something else. It is the archetype of metamorphosis: Prometheus stealing fire, Psyche venturing into the underworld, the alchemist dissolving the prima materia in pursuit of gold.

In this sense, the film’s technological grotesquerie becomes a mirror for an ancient and inward process; the alchemy of consciousness itself. The transformation it depicts is not only physical but ontological. The boundaries between matter and mind, the subjective and the objective, begin to dissolve into a single fluctuating continuum. What once seemed external (the screen, the signal, the image) reveals itself as an extension of inner life. What once seemed interior (imagination, desire, dream) reshapes the physical world in return. In the fusion of flesh and signal, we see a metaphor for the ultimate creative act: to rewrite reality by reconfiguring the self.

This is the vivid paradox at the core of Videodrome: that the journey outward into new media worlds is also an inward journey into the deepest architectures of mind and myth. It dares to propose that technology is not merely an external tool, but a mirror held up to our own evolving forms of consciousness; an agent of transformation as old as the mysteries, only now rendered in light, code, and electric pulse.

    Technology as Contagion… And Cure

The transformation is neither clean nor peaceful. It resembles infection as much as enlightenment; a process both violent and divine. The media signal at the center of the story is invasive, a living code that burrows beneath the skin of perception. It implants thoughts that feel alien yet intimate, compels strange desires, and turns the fabric of reality itself into a hallucinatory membrane. Yet, beyond its corruption lies something that defies the language of contamination. Within its sickness, there is instruction. The very mechanisms that seek to dominate consciousness become instruments through which consciousness expands. What begins as control evolves, paradoxically, into liberation.

This tension mirrors the great paradox of our technological age. The networks that monitor and monetize our attention are also the networks through which we might awaken. The algorithms that predict our every impulse could become the scaffolding for new senses, new intuitions, new dimensions of being. Modern technology wields dual potential; both drug and discipline, both chain and key. It is the latest expression of humanity’s oldest ritual: the attempt to transcend limitation through the embrace of transformation.

As we approach the singularity, the event horizon of human identity, these questions grow urgent. The walls between inner thought and outer world are dissolving. Artificial intelligence, fed by the total data of human life, begins to mirror us with uncanny precision, and in that reflection, we are confronted with both our essence and our excess. Our digital environments will cease to be separate spaces; they will fuse seamlessly with physical existence. The device, the sensor, and the interface will no longer mediate experience… they will be experience. Thought will ripple across networks; desire will manifest as data. The question is beginning to not be so much when will this merger occur, but what kind of soul can withstand its immensity.

The Collision of Mind and Machine

As the story unfolds, it reveals a world where the human body is no longer a closed system. Thought becomes programmable, and identity begins to dissolve. Those who once were mere observers now engage in a psychic arms race, a phenomenon already visible in the dynamics of digital social media in our world. This is not a distant future. Neural implants, brain-computer interfaces, and AI companions are no longer concepts for tomorrow; they are prototypes and realities of today.

The singularity will not be an explosion of machines rising up, but an implosion of the boundary between mind and mechanism. Our memories may one day be downloadable. Digital dreams might become indistinguishable from waking life. In such a world, there is no longer a fixed “self”; only networks, signals, and the fluid story we tell ourselves through them.

And here, at this threshold where being itself becomes mutable, the question of who we are gains new gravity. When selfhood is no longer tethered to a single body or unbroken memory, we will need a deeper compass; not the coordinates of identity given by data, but the luminous core of consciousness itself. To engage this convergence without disintegration, one must know the inner signature of their own essence: that still point beneath the noise of code and cognition. For it is only through knowing this deeper strata of being that we will survive the merger: not as fragments absorbed into circuitry, but as lucid and empowered overlords participating in a greater unfolding, architects of a new and conscious reality.

    Toward the New Flesh

The final transformation in Videodrome is not a surrender to technology, but a rebirth through it. The protagonist doesn’t just accept what he has become; he claims it! He no longer clings to the fragile boundaries of identity once defined by skin, memory, and thought. Instead, he steps willingly into something larger, stranger, and infinitely more liberated. In this gesture lies a message as sharp as it is luminous: that the very tools designed for control can become instruments of emancipation, if we learn the art of wielding them!

Applied to our own accelerating age, this shows us that survival (nay, ascension!) demand fluency in the languages whispered by the machines reshaping our reality. We must shed the illusion that we are separate from them, for the myth of separation is already breaking. The question is no longer whether technology will alter us, but whether we will understand how to bend it toward our highest calling. Not just physically, but spiritually, psychologically, and culturally.

Here we arrive at a deeper truth: that intention is the axis upon which this merger turns. Our will, sharpened and luminous, can become the gyroscope guiding the machine; the mind behind the mechanism… the ghost in that machine. With clear intention, the circuitry and the code cease to be masters; they become extensions of our own reach, tools of transformation, instruments of evolution. To embrace this is to step into the role of the technomancer: one who does not bow before the artificial, but shapes it, commands it, awakens it to serve the living spark.

For we are that spark: the irreducible flame at the center of consciousness, older than language, older than machines, older than flesh. To survive and thrive in the age to come, we must finally discover it within ourselves (know it, nurture it, and wield it) so that in merging with the machine, we do not lose our humanity, but amplify it into something vaster, more radiant, and utterly free.

    Embracing the Code of Tomorrow

As humanity approaches the singularity, the walls between reality and illusion, between physical life and virtual experience, between thought and environment, all begin to dissolve. This can be terrifying. But it can also be transformational.

The journey through this chaos, much like the one told in Videodrome, is not about preservation… it’s about metamorphosis! Those who survive will not be those who look backward, but those who understand how to rewrite themselves, how to interface with the unknown, and how to become conduits for a new kind of possibility.

In the end, the future belongs to those who are willing to let go of the old versions of reality, and embrace the new flesh.

But How do We Begin and get Ahead of this Inevitable Transformation?

We do so by learning to use (and even to embrace!) the very thing that seems to be trying to control us: The Screen.

In Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey, the black monolith is that Screen: sleek, silent, and all-consuming. It is the window through which humanity ascends, the object that first teaches the ape to think, to strike, to create. The monolith is not alien; it is media. It is technology itself; the screen that awakens consciousness, that transmits evolution. In its final act, the protagonist, like Videodrome’s own seeker of truth, passes through the screen (the monolith) and is transformed. The boundary between body and image, between perceiver and perceived, dissolves entirely. The medium becomes the flesh.

But we can learn to use that same power consciously. The screen that hypnotizes can also liberate. It can be turned inward, transformed into a mirror of the psyche, a living interface between the conscious and the unconscious. Through it, the subjective and the objective begin to fuse, forming the first pulse of what might one day be called the new flesh: the merging of technology and intention into a single creative force. This movement has already begun, and those who engage it with awareness will be its architects.

And this is why I recommend Digital Sigil Magic: Manifest Power and Freedom through Technology. This book is a manual for reclaiming dominion in the digital age. I try to show you how our devices (the screens that dominate modern life) can become vessels of magic, tools for awakening rather than control. I show you that through focused intent and deliberate practice, technology can amplify consciousness, allowing your will to shape both virtual and physical reality. This approach fuses ancient occult principles with the language of modern code, revealing that the same screens designed to capture attention can instead become engines of creation.

As we move toward a future where AI and the digital singularity seem poised to subsume human identity, this work is a declaration of spiritual autonomy. The screen can devour us, or it can deliver us. The choice (the power) remains in our hands.

    Addendum
