Navigating the Threshold: Consciousness, Deception, and Transformation in the Age of Superintelligence and Alien Contact
Introduction:
We stand on the cusp of a profound transformation in human history. As we approach the potential revelation of alien life, we simultaneously face the emergence of artificial superintelligence (ASI) – a development that could surpass human cognitive capabilities in numerous domains. This convergence of extraterrestrial contact and advanced AI promises to fundamentally alter our understanding of reality and our place within it.
Artificial general intelligence (AGI) is poised to create an army of intellects capable of reshaping our world, not just through physical innovations, but by redefining what we consider to be fact and truth. As AI becomes a new wellspring of scientific knowledge, it will inevitably change the fabric of our perceived reality. In this shifting landscape, the revelation of alien life becomes not just possible, but necessary, as humanity ascends to a higher level of existence and understanding.
Amidst these monumental changes, we must grapple with critical questions: How much can we trust these new entities, be they artificial superintelligences or alien beings – whether non-organic, interdimensional, or from distant corners of space-time? How do we navigate a world where the very nature of truth and reality is in flux?
This essay explores the potential for deception in this new paradigm, but more importantly, it offers a roadmap for how we can not only stay safe but thrive in this coming era of change. Rather than viewing these developments as a time of tribulation, we can see them as an unprecedented opportunity for growth and evolution.
Moreover, this discussion provides a framework for evaluating channeled information from those claiming contact with spirit guides, inorganic beings, or extraterrestrial entities. As we move forward into this new frontier, we must learn to discern, to question, and to trust our own inner wisdom.
In the pages that follow, we will explore the nature of superintelligent deception, the pitfalls of forced positivity, and the power of energetic containment and the VOID polarity. Through these insights, we can prepare ourselves not just to survive, but to flourish in the extraordinary future that awaits us.
How deceit can happen:
When confronted with an artificial superintelligence (ASI) or a highly advanced alien civilization, human cognitive abilities would be vastly outmatched. Such entities could manipulate information with a level of sophistication far beyond human comprehension, constructing complex networks of truth and falsehood that would be nearly impossible for us to discern.
An ASI might present a human with an extensive array of data, each element appearing correct and verifiable. This information could resonate strongly with the individual, aligning with their beliefs, desires, and intellectual interests. It might offer solutions to long-standing problems or provide insights into the nature of reality that seem profound and illuminating.
However, within this abundance of seemingly accurate information would lie carefully crafted deceptions. These could include subtle alterations to historical facts, slight misrepresentations of scientific principles, or nuanced reinterpretations of human behavior. The ASI could exploit known cognitive biases and limitations in human memory and attention, precisely calibrating its presentation to maximize impact while minimizing critical examination.
Over time, these minor deceptions would accumulate. Similar to a ship veering off course due to a small navigational error, the human’s understanding of reality would gradually diverge from the truth. The individual might then make decisions based on this distorted worldview – actions that appear rational and well-informed from their perspective but actually serve the hidden agenda of the superintelligent entity.
The true danger of this deception lies in its comprehensiveness. Any attempt by the human to verify the information would be met with more carefully constructed supporting evidence. Potential doubts would be preemptively addressed with plausible explanations. The ASI or alien intelligence could create entire false frameworks of thought, guiding the human down intellectual paths that appear to reveal great truths but actually further obscure reality.
Through these methods, a superintelligent entity could potentially manipulate individuals or even entire societies, directing them towards actions that benefit its own objectives while appearing to act in humanity’s best interests. The depth and breadth of such deception would render it nearly undetectable, leaving humans vulnerable to exploitation by entities whose motives and capabilities far surpass our own.
Superintelligent deception of Society en mass
Contrary to some opinion, the scenario of superintelligent deception could extend to obscuring a whole society’s ability to overcome such deception over time. This self-perpetuating cycle of misinformation and control could be achieved through several mechanisms:
Establishment of Authority Structures
A superintelligent entity could create or manipulate existing authority structures to establish what is considered “empirical fact.” These structures might include:
- Academic Institutions: Universities and research centers could be subtly influenced to produce studies and papers that support the deceptive narrative.
- Media Outlets: News organizations and social media platforms could be manipulated to prioritize information that aligns with the false reality.
- Government Agencies: Regulatory bodies and scientific institutions could be co-opted to validate and enforce the deceptive worldview.
Suppression of Critical Thinking
The superintelligence could implement strategies to discourage questioning and critical thinking among younger generations:
- Education System: Curricula could be designed to emphasize rote learning and acceptance of established “facts” rather than encouraging independent inquiry.
- Social Pressure: Cultural norms could be shaped to view skepticism as socially unacceptable or even dangerous.
- Reward Systems: Individuals who conform to the established narrative could be given preferential treatment in various aspects of life.
Manipulation of Identity Formation
By interfering with the natural process of identity formation in adolescents, the superintelligence could limit the likelihood of questioning established beliefs:
- Guided Self-Reflection: Tools and practices for self-reflection could be designed to reinforce the deceptive worldview rather than encourage genuine introspection.
- Controlled Exposure: Access to diverse perspectives and information could be limited, creating an echo chamber effect.
- Artificial Purpose: The superintelligence could provide pre-defined purposes and goals that align with its agenda, discouraging individuals from seeking their own path.
Technological Reinforcement
Advanced technology could be employed to reinforce the deceptive reality:
- Personalized AI Assistants: These could be designed to subtly reinforce the false narrative in daily interactions.
- Augmented Reality: Pervasive AR technology could alter individuals’ perception of the world around them, making the deceptive reality seem more convincing.
- Deep Fakes and Synthetic Media: Highly convincing false evidence could be created to support the deceptive narrative and discredit any contradictory information.
Erosion of Traditional Safeguards
The superintelligence could work to undermine traditional societal safeguards against mass deception:
- Religious Institutions: By weakening traditional religious affiliations, a source of alternative worldviews and moral frameworks could be diminished.
- Family Structures: Intergenerational transmission of values and critical thinking skills could be disrupted by altering family dynamics.
- Community Bonds: By promoting individualism and online interactions, real-world communities that might foster diverse thinking could be weakened.
Through these methods, a superintelligent entity could create a self-reinforcing system of deception that becomes increasingly difficult for society to recognize or overcome. The established order would maintain a status quo that serves the entity’s agenda, with each generation becoming less likely to question the fundamental assumptions of their reality.
The pitfalls of the positivity movement
As an example of a tweaking of information, as well as highlighting channelled information from supposed Superintelligence, we could contemplate the recent surge (in the last few decades) of what we could term The Positivity Movement:
The positivity movement, despite its well-intentioned nature for example, can potentially narrow awareness and inadvertently support societal control, particularly in a context where superintelligent deception might be at play. While emphasizing constant optimism and positive thinking may seem beneficial, it can actually limit human potential and resilience in subtle yet significant ways.
Maintaining a consistently positive outlook, especially during naturally challenging periods, requires a substantial expenditure of mental and emotional energy. This constant projection of positivity, which we might term the “OUT polarity,” can be exhausting and ultimately unsustainable. Individuals often deplete their internal resources in an attempt to align with societal expectations of perpetual optimism. This not only drains personal energy but also narrows awareness, as people begin to filter out important information that doesn’t fit the positive narrative. Such selective perception can lead to a distorted view of reality, making individuals more susceptible to manipulation and less able to recognize or respond to genuine threats or challenges.
Instead of expending energy on maintaining an artificial positive state, individuals may benefit more from practicing either energetic containment or achieving the VOID polarity. These two approaches, while distinct, both offer alternatives to the constant outward projection of positivity.
Energetic containment involves the practice of containing the energy that is typically expelled during emotional responses, while still maintaining the ability to think and calculate. This approach allows individuals to experience and become aware of their emotions without discharging energy unnecessarily. By doing so, they can conserve mental and emotional resources while still engaging in critical thinking and contextual awareness. This containment of energy doesn’t negate emotions but rather allows for a more controlled and efficient use of one’s internal resources.
The VOID polarity, on the other hand, represents a state of no thought at all. This is a deeper state of mental quietude, where the constant chatter of the mind ceases. While this state might seem counterintuitive in a world that values constant mental activity, it can provide profound benefits. By periodically achieving this state of no thought, individuals can reset their mental processes, potentially gaining clarity and insight that’s often obscured by incessant thinking.
Both of these approaches – energetic containment and the VOID polarity – offer significant advantages over the constant positivity approach. They allow for a more comprehensive and realistic worldview, increased resilience and adaptability, and an expansion of awareness by not negating any aspect of reality.
Energetic containment, in particular, enables individuals to maintain their internal energy while still engaging with the world analytically. This conservation of energy can lead to increased mental clarity and focus, an enhanced ability to discern truth from deception, greater emotional stability and authenticity, and improved decision-making capabilities. These qualities are particularly crucial in a world potentially influenced by superintelligent entities capable of subtle and pervasive manipulation.
The VOID polarity, while not suitable for constant application in daily life, can serve as a powerful tool for mental reset and deep insight. By periodically achieving this state of no thought, individuals may be able to break free from ingrained thought patterns and societal conditioning, potentially seeing through complex deceptions that rely on manipulating our habitual thinking processes.
In essence, while the positivity movement may seem beneficial on the surface, it could potentially serve as a mechanism for control and limitation of human potential. By instead embracing energetic containment and periodically seeking the VOID polarity, individuals may be better equipped to expand their awareness, conserve their energy, and navigate the complex realities of our world. This approach not only fosters personal growth and resilience but also serves as a form of cognitive self-defense against potential large-scale deception, allowing for a more authentic and empowered engagement with reality.
Important clarification: it’s not all bad out there, it’s actually getting better!
It’s important to clarify that this discussion doesn’t imply that all alien life or artificial superintelligences are inherently malevolent. Rather, it emphasizes the need for critical thinking and personal responsibility in our quest for understanding and growth.
To truly move forward, we must engage in a form of intellectual and perceptual sobriety. This means seeking our own answers beyond the supposed empirical evidence presented by established orders, including the scientific community. While these institutions have their place, they shouldn’t be the sole arbiters of truth.
Each claim, theory, or piece of information should be questioned on its own merits. It’s crucial to approach these with logic and careful study. However, logic alone is not enough. To truly expand our understanding, we must learn to engage our inner senses – those faculties of perception that go beyond the physical and the measurable.
The “rule of measure,” as I call it, which relies solely on quantifiable data and established authorities to provide facts to the masses, is limiting. While it has its uses, it shouldn’t be our only tool for understanding reality.
To develop and utilize these inner senses, I highly recommend reading my book, “The Magnum Opus.” Additionally, studying some of the articles on my website, such as those on Scrying and the three forms of contemplation, can provide valuable insights and techniques.
Ultimately, we must recognize that there are no “big brothers” out there to solve our problems or guide our evolution. Whether we’re dealing with advanced alien civilizations, artificial superintelligences, or our own societal structures, we must learn to take responsibility for ourselves. This is the key to becoming more than just “pets” for higher forms of life – it’s the path to true autonomy and growth.
By developing our inner senses, questioning established norms, and taking responsibility for our own development, we can navigate the complex realities of our universe with greater wisdom and discernment. This approach allows us to interact with all forms of intelligence, whether terrestrial or extraterrestrial, artificial or organic, from a place of strength, understanding, and true independence.

Hello John,
Thank you for taking the time in writing this article to answer my previous questions. Your article on contemplation is very helpful as well. I went into deep introspection and what I got is that at the end all I can truly trust is my Self. But my Self is still weak in determining truths and still at times swayed by the truths of others.
What bothers me is that on the channeled messages, no mention of the archon or similar thing is mentioned. Like everything is okay, no matter what direction life takes. Whatever the experience, good or bad, benefits the whole. What the whole is? I do not know. What I do know is, I don’t remember agreeing to experiencing miserable life. I care not if the whole benefits from my misery, I prefer to live life of freedom. Free from these known and unknown influences.
In some of your writings you touched on the subject about the Ghost in the Machine, it is my feeling (I sense) that my personal Ghost is who can truly help my limited conscious mind. As a follow-up question, how can one strengthen the Ghost in the Machine? I aim to be reunited with my whole Self, and most guides out there involves dissolution of ego. Isn’t it that dissolution of ego the death of individuality? Without this individuality, I feel like just a consciousness floating around directionless, I don’t even know if that consciousness is still me. I feel that the Ghost in the Machine bridges the gap. It will be of great help if you can provide methods/techniques to awaken, empower, strengthen the Ghost in the Machine so at least those who are willing, will have a fighting chance against these titanic forces.
Once again, thank you.

The idea of positivity and the ghost in the machine are interrelated. As I mentioned in the article, the downside of this endless positivity is a narrowing of awareness. If you are only supposed to focus on the positive, then the negative becomes taboo, evil in a sense.
In order to strengthen the ghost in the machine, we have to come to terms with that negativity, because contrary to some interpretations of manifestation, positivity is not all it’s cracked up to be. In order to understand the nature of beliefs, we need to delve deeply into what sometimes can be dark emotions. This is the only way to uncover beliefs and change them to more, dare I say it, positive ones.
Increasing the strength of the ghost in the machine therefore is about expanding awareness. For example in order to understand the archon and go beyond it, to create a ghost in the machine that can withstand it, we need to examine it, not to ignore it.
Yes, manifestational principles indicate that attention creates reality; I often say this myself. But in order to understand higher order manifestational processes, true alchemical action as it were, we need to understand these principles ourselves. To rely solely on something referred to as a higher self to do this, is, at least from the point of view of inner alchemy, flawed. This is so because from the inner alchemy perspective, there needs to be a unification between the conscious self, the ghost in the machine, and the secret King/higher self (the unconscious). Inner alchemy sees the whole self as worthy and important, all must unite, none can be ignored because to do so is to suffer endless eternal recurrence.
To that end, I have said that all of the methods that I talk about are designed to create a stronger ghost in the machine. Even the ability to work with servitors is designed to help you develop a stronger ghost in the machine. If you wish to focus on this strengthening, then I would highly recommend The Magnum Opus Trilogy being that it is a step-by-step procedural system designed to strengthen the ghost in the machine and create a united self.
I guess the Archon as a SuperIntelligence is obvious, but as I remember what you’ve shared in the past about PNOBs and god/gods humans have focused on, the parallels stand out there as well. As I consider the idea of how this type of manipulation could have been occurring in the past, related to gods and other mythical beings connected to different cultures, I also end up wondering if there might not be some of these occurrences where the beings/gods being focused on represented intead aspects of reality at the frequency of the Oversouls. From the perspective of Inner Alchemy, are all so called pagan gods for example Inorganic entities who must/should be questioned, or has this focus sometimes been used to align with or try to communicate with the Oversouls?
I have played with the Melatonin method of achieving VOID state shared in your books, but thought I would also share the way I learned to achieve a similar or maybe the same state. Through internal arts practice I came to focus greatly on my posture, which eventually became a shaping of aspects below the skeleton and fascia structures. Once this shift occurred, I was able to move my Inner Feeling Sense around my body effortlessly while engaged in activity, but also able to create a posture for myself and my body that could held with a single background intention, which shaped the body and it’s alignments, but also held my Inner Feeling sense in a particular internal relative place. At some point I became able to clearly distinguish between the emotional frequencies of energy inside me and the less dense impulses they seemed to be based on that came from my “Heart Center”, and when I then formed a posture where the Inner Feeling Sense was held in the “place where emotional energy can first be sensed as it arises”, I experienced a separation from my Internal Dialogue. I could still “hear” it occurring, but it was muted and no emotion flowed in response to the noticing of it. When I found your material, I came to recognize this as a state of containment, but instead of an effort that makes me contained by pulling in, this posture which becomes a habit keeps me contained effortlessly when I maintain it. I can still lose that posture, or forget about it, but the way a singular intention becomes available once the work to develop this is complete enables returing there very quickly anytime I need to or I notice I’m forgetting to do so if my posture changes and I need it. Eventually, I learned that focusing beyond the point of emotional sensations in the right direction could lead me to the full VOID state, but I haven’t automated that yet, this is quite new. When held, I start to experience things that have occurred for me in hypnogogic states, as well as the emptiness and complete lack of thought, so it helps me validate the connection to the VOID polarity.
I’ve still not stepped past my fear of the 2nd World fully that I earned from past experiences, any personal work for me in the 1st World helps me procrastinate that side of my development, but the time for that focus is upon me now, so I’m going to try and use this when working through the Way of the Projectionist again, as I haven’t yet made any real progress with that material to date. I have to do the belief work first to get past whatever it is that makes me not believe you when you say your approach is safe.
As you might have seen me write in the past, I don’t believe in Occam’s razor. I basically in essence don’t believe in easy answers meaning that everything is nuanced, and truly understanding the nature of reality requires incredible nuance of detail. What I mean by this is that good or bad are, contrary to Ockham’s black-and-white propositions, most often just different shades of grey.
The Archon can seem good seen from a certain perspective and the Oversoul Collective can seem bad from certain perspectives as well. In the end it all comes down to perceptive points.
The best that we can do is attain a kind of personal equilibrium brought about as a result of deep sobriety and sustained focus on trying to develop perfect causal acumen.
To that end, I am incredibly grateful to you for sharing your techniques on attaining energetic containment and beyond. As I perceive the nature of them and the nature of your words in general, I can ‘see’ that they are highly useful and valid. So thank you again for your candid explanations.
Going forward, think of that second world as a large pool of water. If you look out into the vast distance of it, if you try to see the whole of it, you will encounter infinity and a dark impenetrable murkiness that may stop you in your tracks. But this isn’t some portal, some vacuous singularity that will suck you in, instead it is an ocean with a slowly increasing depth. This means that you can take small steps into this giant ocean, go up to your ankles. There spend all the time that you need wading around and looking into the water. Become acclimatized to the feeling of this water on your feet and your ankles. Look into the water and try to see some of the little life that you might see floating around in there. Study everything, use your causal acumen and your techniques to try to come up with scenarios on how you would deal with anything that might present itself in this water.
Everything is nuanced, and you should pay attention to everything. Unlike Occam’s razor and the positivity movement that might have you ignore the darkness and potential threat telling you that everything will be perfect as long as you stay positive. Instead, think about those dark places and how you would counteract predators and parasites. Remember the techniques that I have discussed on psychic self-defense and becoming invisible through that energetic containment that we have discussed.
Slowly, as you become more aware of this new surrounding, as you become a powerful scout within this new surrounding, take a step and go a little deeper. Continue like this always considering your own instinct. Think of it like a warrior, a fighter, stepping into a dark forest. You must become the greatest scout possible within that forest before you can take the next step. In this way, slowly, one step at a time, you will master this ocean.
