I have often spoken about the fact, that I feel that H.P. Lovecraft was not just a horror fiction writer, but that he was indeed a dreamer, that is he was an active participant in astral planes, where he did directly perceive those things, that he wrote about.

I feel that this is the case, because of the intensity of his words, the descriptive nature of them, and the fact that he wrote about many things that he could not have known about, even if he was the prolific occult reader that some have spoken about in his biographies. There are many passages for example, that he used in his supposedly fiction writing, that demonstrated an understanding of occult topics that had few, perhaps no parallels, at that time. He often described what I would term a very deep and highly complex energetic truth, one that was really never found in the contemporary occult writings of the time, and that were not part, in their complexity and intensity, of the occult library that he supposedly possessed.

One such passage, which had an incredible amount of hidden truth, one again that is impossible to just uncover in some text, and write about so eloquently and with such intensity, without actually perceiving it yourself directly, is the small, and now famous couplet from the short story, the nameless city.

This quote is as follows:

“That is not dead which can eternal lie,

And with strange eons even death may die.”

I would personally say that there are three potential interpretations, to the intense energetic truth in this couplet, that incredibly, has been presented as mere fiction, by this amazing writer and practitioner. This couplet by the way, is a true key, hidden as pulp fiction. This is a doorway, a kind of inner portal, that can indeed open entrances into new and sometimes terrifying dimensions. This is as the author would say, part of a great spell from a magic book, that can open doors into odd dimensions, where colossal and monstrous things lie dreaming.

But to get back to the interpretation of this couplet, I would say that there are three interpretations, definitions, of what this couplet actually means, and these explanations could be divided as:

-a regular interpretation for the average reader

-the definition of what a dark outer titan is, by a practising occultist, perhaps a dark practitioner

-and finally, an interpretation or definition of what this all means, for an inner alchemist from my current

We may start by trying to see things just from a fictional writer’s perspective, which is the most common perspective, being that it would be what you would imagine the author is trying to say to the average reader, what he is implying in relatively simple rational terms. That is, what he might be saying to a normal reader, trying to use rational words, to describe something that in its vastness and power, is beyond rationality itself.

What I feel he is trying to say to the average reader, is that there is this colossal and seemingly odious thing, this giant, this Titan, that in its sheer size and horror, has existed so long, and due to the very nature of it, the enormous-ness of it, the size of it, the alien character of it, it does not seem to be touched in some way by the entropy of this world. That through such sheer alien and foul power, power that goes beyond the puny rational understanding of humanity, this thing could exist so long in its lumbering, in its not so quiet dreaming, that eventually through the course of eons, and not just any time, but through the passage of an eternity of odd ages, this thing would even be able to outlast death itself, so that it could see death itself die, and it would continue past death. So that through the sheer massive power of it, the dark magic of it, it would in the end outlive death itself.

That is the first interpretation, and in and of itself, it is an amazing explanation of something that rationality has no equal in the average world, and all of this done in two lines. Magnificent writing really.

Now, why I say that H.P. Lovecraft was more than just an average writer with a great imagination, is that the intensity of the description given here, is only possible for someone who is not just a great writer, but also someone who can directly perceive, what he is trying to describe. I feel that this is so, because of the intensity of the writing, of the amount of information packed into every small bit of it. This could only be achieved by a seer, someone who could directly perceive, using what I referred to as the inner senses, or someone who has mastered the art of astral travel, which I refer to as being a projectionist.

So, in accordance with the power of such a direct seer of such a titan, then we can further add to the above explanation, to those that want a greater than just average and common understanding of H.P. Lovecraft, by saying that such a Titan, such a horror, as the one stumbled upon by the protagonist in the nameless city, is a giant of such monumental proportions, that it occupies space not only in this three dimensional reality, but also in other dimensions. What I mean by this is that this thing that the protagonist has found, is so large, that it basically goes beyond one place, and into multiple dimensions.

This is an incredibly difficult thing to describe, for anyone, but for a master writer like H.P. Lovecraft, his use of incredibly descriptive words, plus his ability to leave certain things, certain particular things, to the imagination, is incredibly potent, and it is indeed a kind of magic. He for example, says that there is this lost city, which in rational terms can be defined as a contained geography of certain proportions understandable in rational terms. But, he also says that within this place there is something that is so big, that it goes beyond the geography of this particular physical place alone. He is saying that there is this thing within this place, that is so heavy, that has so much of a kind of weight of intensity, a horrific weight he adds, that it basically defies the average understanding of the term colossal. As such this thing is so big in a way, it is so heavy in its evil, that it exists in places beyond this place, it exists basically in other dimensions. It is not just on in the city, it is not just in the physical body of the place itself, it is beyond all that, the heinousness of it is beyond physicality.

Due to the sheer size of it, which as I have pointed out is beyond physical, this nameless evil seems to be able to live eternally, in that morbid sleep of it, and because of this colossal multidimensional nature of it, it is not affected in some way by the entropy of this world. In other words, the alien-ness of it is something, that a seer of it, a true seer, using average words, might describe as multidimensional, or as something that is beyond the eons of time.

He alludes to this multidimensional reality, by saying that it cannot be touched somehow, that it can eternally lie without corruption. And in this eternal and unaffected sleep, it can lie so long that it can even cheat death of death itself. He is saying in his general work, that there are Titans out there, in the infinity of the cosmos, Titans which I argue he must have seen directly himself, because of the sheer force and descriptive detail of his writing, that in their colossal nature, these titans, are in a way beyond average death itself. And he says the massive weight of this Titan is such, that it defies dimensions, and due to that force of gravity, like a kind of singularity of evil, it cannot die in this dimension.

This is where his descriptions end in a way using regular terms, but we could continue from an occult, hidden, inner point of view, from an inner perspective, as a continuation from his seeing to my seeing, using the inner senses and the art of projection, in the way of my current as I write about in my books. And from that extended point of view, we could say that the seeing of such inner practitioners does indeed reveal, that such massive Titans do indeed exist out there, and that they do indeed defy what might be termed physical death, through their sheer colossal nature, through their ability to participate simultaneously in many dimensions, and through that force, through that power, that massive intensity, they defy what might be termed natural entropy, and the laws of any one, particular dimension.

And we may go even further, in that extended interpretation of this famous couplet, by considering the point of view and the seeing and doing of a dark occult practitioner. From that perceptive point we could say, that after a lifetime of struggle, such a practitioner, may be able to finally see the true nature of energetic reality, the true nature of the cosmos, and further they may then be able to finally perceive for themselves directly, those outer Titans that H.P. Lovecraft described throughout his work. As such, continuing with such dark occult practices, such a practitioner might continue in their occult efforts, by trying to duplicate the power of such Titans, in whatever way they can.

And they do so, being that such practitioners are indeed real, they do, try to become just like their master, through dark techniques that allow them to gain weight, more and more mass, more gravity, dark intensity, so that they too can eventually begin to occupy different dimensions, and never leave this dimension fully. They then may leave a corpus of themselves here, just like that repellent viewless aura, that encompassed that timeless city that the protagonist found, in the story, the nameless city.

The nature of such dark practitioners is such that, in their struggle to duplicate those outer Titans, a part of them always maintains its tenacious, terrible, hold on this three-dimensional reality, and uses the great desire of the flesh to be found here, the way of the flesh here, the way of the flesh, to bind aspects of themselves to this dimension, and yet move on to others, as well. And in doing so, through dark means, through weight, they try to acquire more and more energy, like fabled vampires, but more. I say more because of the intensity of the technique, of the complexity of it. And in that way, through the acquisition of such power and such weight, always more and more weight, it is their hope to one day defy death in the same way that the Titan from this fantastic tale of horror does, written and described by someone who I believe was indeed a seer, a direct perceiver, of such monstrous entities that are indeed real, not fiction.

Further, and in a final definition of what this couplet can mean, we could say that through such perceptions, and the experiences of those dark practitioners just described, other practitioners, through their particular seeing in accordance with all that can be witnessed, may in their interpretation of all that seeing and doing, move along in a different direction, a direction of lightness as opposed to weight. Instead of binding themselves to this dimension through the love of the flesh, the endless pain and pleasure, the desire, the dark dreaming of that titan from the nameless city, they instead try to let go of all weight and in that fashion move into different dimensions, through lightness as opposed to great weight, and in that manner conquer death not through weight, but through true freedom.

This then is the definition of that famous couplet taken to its furthest point, beyond the common and into the realm of those that know. And this knowing says that, while there are those of an order that try to directly duplicate the weight of the very real outer Titans, there are those that in seeing the folly of them, in the folly of those dark practitioners, decided to use that seeing and that experience, to move in a different way, a contrary way, a way of lightness as opposed to great mass.

In conclusion, I can say that those that can see, will always be hindered by the rational, by the words that one needs to use to describe those things that are outside the scope of those words themselves. Individuals like H.P. Lovecraft in their great gift for words, will squeeze such words and create utter wonder, true magic from them. But those words will always be a kind of limiter as to what is descriptively possible. And yet, within those words, written by a seer, or projectionist, a true practitioner, a true artist such as H.P. Lovecraft, there will always be a kind of intensity in such work, that will flow beyond those words themselves, that will add a kind of intensity or way to them that is very very hard to describe, in rational terms.

Such practitioners and such artists, therefore, will always be hindered because words were never truly designed, to describe those odd angles that they can perceive directly through their inner senses. Such true practitioners may even need to resort to calling their work, their revelation, their magic, fiction.

And due to the fact that the nature of such inner travels is so all-consuming to the psyche, such practitioners will almost always be lonely souls, existing at the fringe of the common world. As such, they may need to try to survive in the human world in any way that they can, at that outer edge, being that such seers cannot function in some crucial ways in the common world. Such powerful seers or projectionists, lost in an alien reality of multiple dimensions, being that they have had access to other dimensions, other dimensions that may have changed them, made them different , not wholly of this human world any longer, they may need to use those very words that they may find so challenging, so limiting, to try to survive in this world.

They may need to resort to any means necessary, to survive in a world, perhaps even calling themselves something that they are not, like fiction writers, writers of weird tales perhaps.

H.P. Lovecraft needed to become a writer of supposed fiction, a writer of strange and weird horror stories. Stories so strange and so new in their perspective, so intense in a hard to define way, that they would never be truly and fully appreciated during his lifetime. But those words, those simple and eloquent words, still managed to have so much intensity, that in time the weight of them would indeed begin to change the face of how humanity perceives itself, and the greater cosmos.

And that is the odd way of magic, and that is the way of intensity. The body may die, but the words live on, and through those words a part of what once was exists still, it gains weight through the mass of human attention, and through that mass, it begins to exist in more than just one dimension, and through that increasing intensity of time and through that power, perhaps in the course of odd eons, that which lies eternal in the minds of humanity, may even, watch death, die.

The way of the inner alchemist can sometimes be a difficult thing to understand for the average person. I for example, have said that there is a kind of battle going on, and I have said that such a battle is not out there somewhere, but that it is actually within. I have said that the fight, is in us!

We are all individuals, and as such we all have the right to our own opinion, and it is certainly the case that there are many many people that do not agree with such a stance, and may find the way of inner alchemy sort of like being Sisyphus, in that you seem to be rolling a giant rock up a hill for no good reason at all.

Some may say that there is no battle, no fight. They may also say that there is no within, no ‘in us’ as it were, because they only trust their physical senses and cannot believe that anything else is possible but the corporeal. Some may even say that there is no within or without, perhaps believing in some kind of philosophy or theology that tells them that this is so.

We are all individuals, and we all have the right to have our own beliefs. The way of inner alchemy though insists that you try to let go of all beliefs in a sense, and begin to trust an inner aspect of yourself, something that can be nurtured, something I have referred to as the inner senses, or the inner feeling sense.

Once you can do that, once you can use this inner feeling sense, once you have been able to nurture it within yourself, grow it and allow it to expand, you can then begin to let go of all beliefs ‘in a way’, and only know what you know at every moment point in accordance with those inner senses alone.

Once you can do this, then you may indeed find that for you there is no fight at all, that for you there is no in here or out there. But it is critical that such eventual beliefs, that you may have as an individual, are acquired through your own use of the inner feeling sense and not through the blind belief in what might be popular, the ‘in thing’, at any particular point in time.

But in accordance with my seeing, my use of the inner feeling sense, which aligns with my current, the way of inner alchemy, well, for us there is indeed a battle out there, a fight for those that are willing to fight it, for the fighters. And that fight is a fight against a kind of binding force that compels us, that pushes us, into believing that all we are is what we can perceive through the physical senses alone.

Through my ability to see, through my ability to use my inner feeling sense that I have nurtured, I am constantly telling people the same thing about the illusion of within and without. Most often I’m saying that to go within is to go without, as there is no real border ‘let us say’ between one or the other, and that they are ‘both’ an illusion.

But why would I then say that there is a fight, and that that fight is in us?

I do this because I must begin at the beginning, and that means that I must always take into account the world that we all share for the moment, this material world. I must first begin from that beginning and explain how the illusion of the external senses happens, and how our complete reliance on just the outer senses, binds us to greater possibilities beyond them. And then from there, after making that point, I must show techniques, I must show the way towards ‘inner’ action, true and workable techniques that can allow you to go beyond, truly beyond, the binding force of the outer senses.
There is therefore a time for definition in accordance to the way of material space, a time for explanations using a language and a phenomenology that we all understand, and a time to do and act in the world.
In order to act, at least in order for me to define techniques that will allow someone to act, to partake in action of any kind (whether you wish to define it as inner or outer), I must define and refine the possibilities available to human beings, and how it is best to use those abilities to move beyond, to actually be able to ‘see’ in a direct manner, and in that way for them to perceive for themselves how it is that the inner and the outer ‘are’ an illusion.

This basically means that I must use the words, the phrases, the idioms, and the basic general understanding of the times to show the limits of the outer senses, to shock the system through such revelations, and then to show actual workable techniques that can allow you as an individual to go beyond just the outer senses, and to begin to use the inner senses yourself.

In this way you as an individual can begin to truly understand for yourself and by yourself the illusion of the inner and the outer, not just as dogma, not just as words on a web-page, but as an actual thing, a real thing for you directly, and not just as some intellectual, quoting what you have read in some book.
And the only way to be able to do that is to work and define technique, using logical clarity, so that your attention can move forward, can move forward in what could be referred to as lucid motion, which is actually a movement by the self in all directions simultaneously. And those directions are not within or without, because the understanding and perception of within and without is an illusion.

As to there not being a fight, well that is up to every individual to decide to believe one way or the other. If you feel that the world is perfect for you and it is moving forward in the direction that you think is best, then there is nothing for you to do, you can just float along and be who you feel you are.

Inner alchemists believe that who you think you are, who we all think we are, is not who we truly are, that we are far more than this. They believe that there is a fight worth fighting for, and that fight may look like Sisyphus rolling a giant boulder uphill to some, but to them it is the only fight worth fighting. It is the fight to discover who we truly are, and what we are truly capable of, that indeed we are far more capable than we could ever imagine, that there are entire other worlds out there, or in here if you will, calling for us, beckoning us to break out of that cube that contains us, so that we may truly see the wonder of our life, and the incredible possibilities available to us. This is the way of the fighter; this is the way of Lucid motion.
And what could that Lucid motion revealed to us?

Well, it will reveal to us the true nature of reality, something that is only possible for those that can learn to see, those that fight to go beyond the physical senses, those that fight the fight within them to learn to use the inner feeling sense. What will be revealed to those fighters in a lucid way, in a conscious way, is the nature of the life and death cycle. The life-and-death cycle is a true understanding of what life is for us, what death is, and what it is to be stuck in a kind of energetic eddy.

The only conscious observer of the life and death cycle is a seer, the individual that fights for the ability to use the inner feeling sense, to use the inner senses to see beyond the containment cube of the material world. To anyone else, to the average person, life is at best a short affair of relative suffering in accordance to how much material possession they may acquire or have access to. The average person only experiences a short life and a relatively short death as their consciousness wakes up to itself at some point in their existence (to a relative degree) and then physically dies. I say wakes up to a relative degree because the average person also forgets, we all forget, the nature of the gravity of this earth is that we forget, and our attention is such that one is hard pressed to say that we are truly conscious most of the time. Most of us are lost in a kind of endless daydream, where we forget who we were from one daydream to the next.

So, to the average person, the life-and-death cycle is watching the people around us grow old and then pass away, that is all. Unless we are willing to fight against the binding forces of our existence, what we experience is mostly a dull understanding of an aging process, pain, joy, forgotten memories, and an angst that tells us that we have somehow been here before, and that there could be more than this, that there is this possibility, this feeling in the back of your mind, that you are more than this, that there is more to us than this.

For the seer this life and what comes after it, is a true discovery, an energetic fact beyond rational measure.

You are so much more than what your physical senses are telling you that you are. There is an infinity within you, that is really without. You are a magical being that has the ability to transcend all the limits that the physical world has imposed upon you, that the physical world demands that you adhere to.

We are here in this magical place, in this magical time, and ‘here now’ we face the greatest challenge possible for beings like us. You are worthy of that challenge, there is so much more to us!

But to understand the true magic within you, you must be willing to fight that good fight. And that fight is not out there, it is not a material fight, it is not anything to do with what the material world is telling you. The real fight is actually within, it is in a place beyond the understanding of the physical senses, a place that may best be termed an inner place that leads to dimensions unbound by physical rulers of any kind.

To understand the nature of this battle you must begin from the physical, you must begin at the beginning, understanding at first in a physical way, using physical terms such as inner and outer. Through such helpful inventory, learn about technique and about the general way of that fight. To that end I would highly recommend to you the book, overcoming the Archon through alchemy.

Once you begin to know technique yourself, and begin to use those inner senses yourself, that inner feeling sense, then expand outwardly, and when you are ready for it, and believe me you will need to be ready for it because the energetic truth of things is the most powerful pill of them all. But when you are ready, then I would highly recommend that you take the next step and read the book, The Way of the Death Defier.

Allow this book to break a part of you, by revealing the true nature of the life-and-death cycle in accordance with the seeing of inner alchemy. Through that crack in your psyche that the book attempts to create, step through it and learn to use all the techniques mentioned, pursue the nature of your personal and individual energetic truth, your truth. The fight is in us. Learn to fight the only fight worthy of you!

A while back I wrote an article on my website on video games, and what my thoughts on it were from an inner alchemist’s point of view. At that time video games were very popular, as a form of entertainment and escapism really, being that all entertainment can be said to be some kind of escapism in one way or another. And this is what is at the foundation of this article really, the definition of escapism by the rational human world, and perhaps how it is possible, at least from the inner alchemist’s perspective, that what the world refers to as escapism might hold within it, always holds within it from the inner alchemists point of view, potentials for growth and expansion that are seldom understood in their full scope from just a rational perspective.

Now, in accordance to some sources, video games have become the premier form of entertainment in the modern world, and while there are constant changes such as the resurgence of streaming television channels, or a growing demand for podcasts perhaps, video games are still surging, and now we are seeing an incredible upsurge in the popularity of virtual reality video games, and in virtual reality and augmented reality experiences of all sorts.

In the article mentioned, I wrote that I could remember a time when television was just being introduced, and that at that time especially, television was thought of in a pretty negative light by some. When television was beginning to take off, as virtual reality is beginning to take off now, many were quick to point out the large and quite valid potential negatives of this latest form of escapism, and it was said, and it is still said to some degree, that television would waste humanity, turn it into a vegetable species, and further, fill the minds of the masses with all sorts of counterproductive propaganda. The rational world, maybe rightly so, said that it was a great waste of time, precious lifetime, by which they meant that according to the rational view of what usefulness meant, sitting around watching a screen was not work and therefore not constructive to societal profit, television was in essence a vice, and a detrimental influence for everyone.

The point of this article is to try to give an inner alchemists perspective, on all of these ever surging newer and newer forms of mass media and entertainment, and in that way provide a different angle, in which to see not just the growth of technology and mass entertainment, but also how it is possible to look at the bigger picture, an energetic or psychic picture, and perceive to some degree how it is that technology intermingles with the psyche, is the psyche in some ways, and from that perceptive angle see how there is this odd and quite valid connection, an impossible to disconnect connection, between the creations of the psyche, which have in this period in human history become technological ones, and the ways in which the inner spark in humanity fights against the very gravity of its self-imposed prisons) to find new roads and an ever expanding reality, were the limits of the past, both mentally and physically, are left behind.

We can for example, look into this, according to some, superfluous aspect of evolving technology, that is the development of mass entertainment, specifically video games and the great explosion of virtual reality games and virtual experiences that are about to take off, and through them understand far deeper truths about the nature of expanding human reality, and how there is this quite simply magical exchange) between the outer physical world, which by the way is becoming harder and harder to pin down thanks to the great influence of modern technology, and the mind of humanity, the mass human psyche, that seems to be pushing the boundaries of what it is to be human and an individual.

What I mean by this is that as technology blurs the line between being here now in physical space, and being in a far more expansive digital world, a new kind of psychology is needed) and will develop. Digital screens are everywhere, as an ever increasing amount of the population acquires smart phones, meaning that an increasing number of people can look into a screen at any second of the day, and use that digital enhancement to know and do more and more, through the magical digital gateways that screens are really. Our mind is no longer just in our heads somehow, it is now outside as well, in the physical) through technology, through our digital counterparts, our screens, and as the mind goes out, these screens in turn move into our subjective space in a way, and this extension, this mingling, whether good or bad from the individual point of view, means that the ghost in our machine, that is our mind, is expanding and this expansion is in some ways turning our dreams, that which we could only do in dreams, into reality. This is quite simply, at least from a psychological point of view, techno-magic) and as this gate opens, as a gate opens into our screens, the science of psychology must change to be able to incorporate this extra portion of self into the understanding of the now evolving psyche, where the line between the physical world, the digital world, and the mind, are being blurred, and eventually may be erased permanently.

During the inception of the screen (during its birth, which was television) there was a time when television was thought of as being quite a detriment to the development of the individual, and before that radio was thought of in the same way, and before that we could go farther and farther and talk about Pulp Fiction, comic books, and at the foundation of all of this) the printing press and the increasing, always increasing, ability of the human species to develop new and marvelous ways to communicate and entertain itself on a mass level, which finally led to the screen, the television, the gate, the doorway, that is now allowing us, through ever increasing technological advancement, to go into it) and into a kind of new technological room, a new world, a digital world, a dream-like digital world .

In this article I also wish to show how humanity, the magical race, must come around to magic no matter which way it turns, and how technology is already a kind of techno-magic, a kind of alchemy focused outward (outer alchemy) but that in its pursuit of only the out) it eventually finds its way in, because it is learning the slow and hard way that the divisions between the out there and the in here are an illusion. Outer human alchemy, in its slow and stumbling fashion, is finding its way into what inner alchemists refer to as the rooms of the projectionist, and it is now about to enter through virtual reality technology) what inner alchemists refer to as the third room. And in entering this room in a kind of haphazard way, it is slowly learning that all magic can be dangerous, that even outer alchemy can destroy the alchemist, the digital magician, the cyber-naut, because some portals, some gateways, can let in monsters, if such explorers do not understand true sobriety, energetic containment, and develop a healthy respect and understanding of the fact that we humans are not alone, that there are other forms of life that are wholly unsuspected by modern rational thought, that can use human vice and fear to trap humanity, in a cage of their own making.

This period in human history, this epoch, is the epoch of technology, and this at its foundation means an outward push by humanity into an objective realm, the physical realm. As such, the magic of the times has become science in its most outward forms, which in more specific terms means physical technology and physical engineering only. And thanks to the sheer genius of humanity, which even the Archon can’t completely quell, but that it can nevertheless use to further its own agenda, such marvels of engineering are allowing us to get closer and closer to those things that we could do in a forgotten past. If the new science of the times is outer physical technology, then I can tell you that there was a time when there were other forms of technology, that could be referred to as mind science, and even different sciences that combined the mind and what now might be conceived as technology in far more exacting ways than is possible in this time, ways that far surpass anything understandable in the current period.

Each epoch, like anything in our lives really, had and has its advantages and disadvantages. This modern epoch is pushing outwardly and in doing so it is leaving behind many of the things that made other times far more magical and far more powerful. But in its own way, it is coming around and we are at a cusp, an ever-developing point, what some modern futurists have referred to as the technological singularity, where the great slithering serpentine mind of humanity will meet its tail, and begin to consume itself and once consumed) the singularity will truly be upon us, and a large maw, a great gate, will open up before us into a new reality, a new epoch beyond imagination. Such giant gateways are always seen as some kind of termination by those that cannot even conceive of a world beyond the limited mind of the times, and as such these giant gateways are sometimes referred to as apocalypse. But we must never forget that Apocalypse is really a great revealing, a new starting point, a singularity point where somethings end but other things begin. And it is also the case that such a singularity point does not necessarily need to mean any kind of strife, but that in a sense it is the stepping through a doorway, and such a motion does not mean any kind of loss, but a great gain. Like a magical portal, we cannot see past it until we step through, and in stepping through we leave all that was in the past of us behind, we leave all our old stuff and clutter behind, and find ourselves in a new world, a new here and now place, a different psychology, a different kind of gravity, that thanks to the pettiness in us, the monkey nature in us, the archon in us, can still mean potential struggle and great strife or further binding, in that as new possibilities open up thanks to the evolving technology of this epoch, new walls and a new form of gravity are created as well, and there is the possibility for our cage, our cube, to shrink in some ways as it expands in others, like a kind of bait and switch.

But how does all this relate to video games and the latest technological burst of virtual and augmented reality, the stepping through the screen, which as I have said will be taking the human world over and pushing it on a mass level through the mass human version of the third room of the projectionist. How do video games and virtual reality relate to the coming epoch?

Well, in order to explain some of this, it can be seen) that for the last 3000 years or so) the mass of the human psyche has taken an outward psychological direction, it has made a kind of outward push. That is, humanity changed its focus over this short historical period and aimed itself in an ever-growing outward direction, focusing its attention outwardly towards what it perceives through the physical senses, as being the out there as opposed to the inner world, which to the physical senses might be perceived and explained as the in here, the subjective realm. Due to this decision by the mass of humanity let us say, to follow an outward path, the creative spark that moves the species forward has needed to take a new psychological direction as well, and that direction is what we now refer to as first and foremost outer logic and causality, then science, technology, and engineering.

But as the great spark of humanity drives forward in an unrelenting pace, and this technology flourishes and creates new venues that far surpass what this modern time, the modern human species, refers to as the past, new possibilities become available at an increasing rate, that then begin to close the gap between what was and what is, and opens doors in space and time that will allow the species to once again) let me repeat that, once again, begin to develop different forms of technology and expansions of the psyche that will allow it, to understand that there is more to what is possible, that there is more than just outer technology, that there is the possibility of an inner kind of technology, and moreover in time that there is a possibility to combine both the inner and the outer forms of technology, to create a reality that far surpasses anything currently understandable. This is the potential promise of the third room, but it can also herald many dangers, dangers that may doom the race to be stuck permanently in this third room without the possibility of going further.

When television rolled around, there was this concern that this mass form of entertainment and influence might have some detrimental side effects on people, and there was some legitimate concern here. But it was also the case that just like radio before it, television allowed for an incredible quantum leap in the psyche of the species, being that through its screen, a great amount of people, a growing mass of humanity, was able to project itself across space and time and hear or see things that were hitherto impossible to know. Through the technological wonders of radio and television, humanity opened the audio and visual screens, the windows, that allowed aspects of the psyche to expand, that allowed aspects of the mind to become more complex, as it was able to now contemplate new forms of time and experience, by understanding that while the physical body in its current physical position occupied a certain kind of situational location, it could perceive through radio or television other times and other places. So, no matter what the rational world tried to tell it, the human mind was able to understand at a vital level that the things that it perceived and experienced thanks to those magical windows, were as real in some ways as the physicality, as the physical body, that was the fundamental aspect of its nature. The mind, through the outer screens of technology, saw into and out of itself simultaneously and it grew, and it continues to grow.

And, as technology advanced and advances more and more, as it exploded and bloomed through computers and digital technology, video games took over slowly at first but then quicker and quicker, as is the case with all disruptive technology, and with them the psyche, the human intellect, the mind, expanded even more as well, because through this new form of experience the mind was able to partake in marvels of reality that allowed it, not only to let go of many of the bounding walls of stationary physicality, but also to experience as a result) new forms of thought, that then allowed the intellect to understand the puzzles of physicality and logic in new ways. And finally, as these games become more complex, as digital simulations become better and better, to the point that they are almost on par with what the physical senses can perceive naturally, these increasingly complex games and experiences have already reached a point to some extent in this latest outwardly focused human epoch, where humanity can once again to a rather limited extent anyway, do things that were before, for it, only possible in dreams, quickly forgotten dreams.

Now, as virtual-reality blooms and new forms of technology expand what is possible, as we begin to step into our screens and turn them into a three dimensional world to experience infinite sensuality, let me repeat that because it is critically important, as we step into our two dimensional screens, we find ourselves standing before a new sensual and psychological gateway, and as we put on visors and an increasing repertoire of haptic gadgets, we can look down at our hands in this new place,

How crazy that is, what dream sorcerer would have guessed that in this techno age a large mass of humanity would be given technology to easily accomplish one of the hardest tasks of dream magic, which is to look at one’s hands in dreaming,

and in easily doing so, with this modern digital hardware and software, find themselves fully immersed, far more fully immersed than could ever be possible with just television and two-dimensional video games, at the beginning edge of what inner alchemists call the third room of the projectionist. And in this new incredibly immersive reality, experience in a far more direct way what it is to escape across other worlds, and to do those things that an average person could never ever do without this technological aid.

 

It is at the entrance to this room that humanity finds itself at this point in history, and I feel that it can even from a rational point of view) begin to intuit how the collective mind, the collective psyche of the species, is beginning to slither and turn, seeing in the distance its own tail, which it will eventually irrevocably meet and begin to consume, until it eats itself completely and in that way begin a new epoch. As an inner alchemist I can see, in a direct energetic way the force of this intent, the eventual shattering of consensus reality, as humanity wakes up to new, that are yet old, possibilities and greater freedom, expansion, and evolution. And I am hopeful because I believe in the inner light that is within each and every one of us.

But as this new virtual-reality revolution takes hold, as humanity steps through the monolith, the screen, into new dimensional possibilities, there must always be great sobriety. In this case this great sobriety means that humanity must begin to understand at a mass level that there is more to reality than just the ability to conquer the hardships and desires of the flesh, of the object-hood (of the object) that humanity believes itself to be. Inner alchemists know that the third room of the projectionist, which is what going through the screen represents, is just one room, and that there are many more rooms to go. All modern technology, and the virtual revolution that is just beginning in an s curve of disruption, might just allow a mass of humanity to experience at a mass level, what inner alchemists refer to as the third room of the projectionist, meaning the ability to be able to do all those things that we might desire within a contained three-dimensional space.

If great sobriety is not achieved, then humanity will be trapped in fleshly objective three dimensional desires, in three dimensional perspectives essentially, and be seduced by only the endless need for more sensual gratification, instead of the even greater bliss and gratification of going beyond three-dimensional ideas and ideals. There are in other words other dimensions, and it may be all to easy for many to just stop growing and be lost, trapped forever, in an enticing new and expanded cube.

The virtual reality revolution, like all the other screen revolutions of the past, is an incredible opportunity. Through virtual reality, as you see your virtual hands, find endless possibilities as you fly, jump, fight, drive, hear, and eventually even feel, what at one time was only possible in the imagination or hard to remember dreams, the inner aspects of humanity, the intellect, the ghost in the machine, will increase and bloom like a flower, and even greater vistas for the entire species will then be perceived in the new horizons that will then become visible, as this new wave of intellectually expanded humanity is able to perceive farther and more clearly, the new possibilities of the flesh.

Sobriety means that with the acquisition of this new power, we must be clear-headed and learn to use this new supremacy over the flesh to not just fall into the pit of three dimensional pleasures, but to strive even higher still, beyond the third room, beyond three dimensions, into the fourth room, where objecthood is left behind and time becomes our new playground.

If we don’t do this, this latest technologically created room may be our new and improved prison.

In other words, what I am trying to say here is that as technology expands, and as our ability to basically do anything we could possibly desire in these virtual spaces becomes a reality, we can if we maintain sobriety, begin to finally understand that there is more to our potential than even this sensuality and new fleshliness. We must overcome the curse of the new flesh, this is critical.

For the inner alchemist, such sobriety opens up the road to the fourth room, and the fifth one after that, and there is more than that even that can become available. And in discovering these rooms that go beyond the ability to just do anything that we could possibly desire from a three dimensional and limited egoistic point of view, we can begin to use our new power to expand beyond these limitations of the new flesh) and three dimensions, into four dimensions and beyond, and in doing so find our true purpose and the true meaning of bliss.

A great deal of the work done by inner alchemists, has to do with energetic containment, and while this might sound on the surface like hard work or a type of austere life, in reality it is all about regaining power through the most natural means possible, the correct focus of attention. And it is the case that as this kind of correct focus becomes more conscious, more sustained, relentless, it can and does bring power to the inner alchemist, and with power, with the complete inner knowing that you are free) and that you have the possibility to do more, to act, there comes over the practitioner this feeling of utter joy and relaxation. In that sense then, energetic containment is a joyous act that increases the possibilities of the inner alchemist in every way, and in doing so, energetic containment is a source of relaxation, not work, not fatigue, but power.

For the most part, some might imagine, rightfully so perhaps due to the words that must be used, that energetic containment just means the ability to work on the self) for the sake of the self alone, and that it involves the action of distancing yourself from everything and everyone else, like trying to stay as far away from the rest of the world as possible.

This is certainly one way (or one aspect let’s say) of energetic containment, and the parallels of this can be seen in the holy hermit, that detaches from humanity to live in a lonely forest or a cave somewhere. But as I have pointed out in my book, overcoming the archon through alchemy, there is a point when the world does catch up to you, and no matter how far you may run, there may be a time when your containment skills are such that the world at large will and does, eventually invade your personal island.

For that reason, energetic containment must) also include within the techniques involved, the ability to stop the world at large from actively taking the inner alchemist’s energy. In other words, the world is, at least from the inner alchemist’s point of view, a predatory world, and as such a great deal of focus of attention needs to be applied to the ability to fight back against that predation. You can’t just run; at some point you will most likely have to fight back, or at the very least defend against the predation that is the foundation of the gravity of this world.

Generally speaking, most people can understand the concept of predator and prey. They can look at the physical world with their physical senses, and realize that everywhere you look there are things that eat and are enriched in one way or another by the use or the eating of other things, this is a consume, that is consumer, world. There is a beautiful symbiosis there, when one looks at the big picture, a wholeness that is directly perceivable where all of nature gives and takes in equal measure. But this big picture should not obscure the fact that at a smaller individual level, you must take, and the world does take, and all this taking can at times be very unpleasant from that individual point of view, and indeed, a great deal of our evolution has to do with us finding more balanced ways to take and to give back. One way that inner alchemists try to find that balance is to develop ways to deal with the taking by the world, the predation of the world.

To begin in this endeavor an inner alchemist begins to learn to perceive energy more directly, which as I have said, may be called seeing or using the inner senses. So, an inner alchemist, due to the fact that they can use their inner senses, which are far more powerful than just the outer physical ones, can see) that there is much more to life than just the physical, and having the possibility to see beyond the physical, they realize that there are more things out there, more predators, invisible predators from the physical senses point of view, that an individual needs to defend against, in the most proactive manner possible if they know what is good for them.

I have described these non-organic predatory beings at length in my book, the vampire’s way to psychic self-defense, and you can find a link to that book here on this site if you are interested in knowing more about this important topic.

Anyway, In the vampire’s way book I mentioned that these nonorganic predatory beings can come in many shapes and sizes, and that they, at least when they are large enough, can attain a complexity that is hard for the human mind to grasp. What this means is that these larger and far more complex nonorganic predatory lifeforms, can sometimes have an intellectual complexity, and a power level, that is difficult for the average human being to fully understand.

There are many that have known about these nonorganic predators, and they have discussed them at length within their certain occult traditions. What is seldom mentioned though, I think anyway, is that these predatory nonorganic lifeforms have chameleon like properties and the vastness of their intellects are such, that they have the possibility of tricking the human mind quite easily. What this means is that these nonorganic predators can be sort of like shape shifters, in that they can trick a person into believing that they are one thing, while in reality they are something else. And the vastness of their mental resources is such, that they can think much farther ahead than a person, and begin to take odd and seemingly quite positive action that may in the long run, trick that person into doing something that was at the time, quite unsuspected and seemingly leading to good places, but is in fact a way to trick and take.

Now, I am not trying to say here that certain things do not exist, that for example a Bigfoot, or a true otherworld alien is not real. I am also not saying that angels and that the goodness of such light beings is not real, what I am saying though is that on some occasions, some of these phenomena that is believed to be a certain thing, can be something else entirely, a predator in disguise, a wolf in sheep’s clothing as it were.

For that reason, inner alchemists believe that it is most important that an individual learns to perceive energy directly, use the inner senses as I have mentioned, because if they cannot do this, they can often times be easily fooled into thinking that a certain thing is benign in nature, or that certain things such as non-organic beings, could not possibly, rationally, exist. For the inner alchemist, non organic life is quite real, and some of those beings can at times be a predator in hiding, that will do anything in the most ruthless fashion possible, to take all that it desires from the inner alchemist or from anyone else. This basically means that the beautiful flower over there might not just be poisonous, it might actually be a predator in disguise that will ensnare the unwary and break any energetic containment that they might have had, draining them of every ounce of living vitality.

In relation to this article, what this means is that there are times, and this is not always of course, just certain times, when a person can be fooled into thinking that they are dealing with a benign being, perhaps a very powerful light being like an angel, while in reality what they are actually confronting is a predatory being, who is ruthlessly trying to take instead of help.

As an example, we could contemplate a person that finds that they are in a most terrible situation of one kind or another, and in the midst of this most difficult personal trial, such a person asks for help and receives it in the form of the visit from a light being, an angel like being, that seems to be trying to help them overcome their difficulties. To someone who cannot see, such an encounter may seem like a wonderful life saving miracle perhaps.

But an inner alchemist is a born paranoid in most ways, so they know, through the exercise of that paranoia and deep curiosity, that there is far more to the world than the rational view. For that reason, they eventually are led to the inevitability of learning to see, and when they can perceive with their inner senses and see beyond just what the physical senses are telling them, they directly know that non-organic predatory beings can, as I have said, trick the human mind. The inner alchemist that can see, can perceive directly that this being might be a chameleon-like predator, and it could try to trick a person into believing that they are meeting an angel, while in reality this supposed angel is actually a kind of devil that is only interested in causing them more strife and pain, so that this predator might gorge itself on that person’s spent emotional vitality.

Such a trickster would appear to be goodness incarnate, but soon after this initial encounter, such a being would begin to tax the person in need in whatever way, to induce as much emotion as possible. Now, this emotion can be highly negative) or at times even highly loving to the point of ecstatically positive, this is very important, and this is something that a person needs to be careful about, something that is seldom discussed enough I feel. This trickster, hiding itself as an angel, might even use incredibly intense ecstatically loving emotions to try and elicit from a person as much emotion as possible, so that after such an intensity a person might feel completely drained, but in the end, they have not been helped in any real way at all. The purpose of all of this is to elicit emotion because all such emotion is food to this predator, and for that reason this predator will use any trick available to it, in order to induce as much hyper intense emotion of any kind in the person. They will then ruthlessly feed on that emotion, and drain that person as much as they can, before they depart and leave that person utterly exhausted, but without providing any real help at all.

If a person cannot see like an inner alchemist can see, then a good way to understand when one is dealing with such a trickster predator, is to note that at the end of such an interaction, there is little in the form of actual help given. What I mean by this is that even though a great deal of emotional trial and tribulation might have occurred, such an interaction does not in the end help the individual person in any meaningful way, it just leaves them exhausted.

A good way to discover whether you are dealing with a trickster or an actual light being therefore, is to note if this interaction seems to be just a big emotional upheaval, as opposed to anything positive or anything more concrete. If such an interaction is for the most part just emotional intensity and nothing else, then you could quite possibly be confronting a trickster non-organic predatory lifeform. If on the other hand this experience truly does resolve issues and is quite helpful, then you are most likely dealing with the real thing.

Such a helpful distinction can even be used if you are confronted by such things as a Bigfoot, an alien, or many of the other cryptids that a random person or a paranormal investigator might run into. You want to see a ghost or a Bigfoot, so the trickster tricks you and you see what it wants you to see, what you truly wish to see, along with a heap of intense emotion that it takes as its payment, but in the end, unless you really love the show, you have lost a great deal of vitality and have found only illusions, no real evidence or even truly solid physical clues.

My personal belief as an inner alchemist, is that the best way to truly understand the nature of such cryptic encounters, is to learn how to perceive energy directly, or at the very least begin to take the notion of non-organic predatory lifeforms very seriously. And most importantly, I feel that all people that often encounter such para-normal other beings, should know how to use inner alchemy techniques. So that, knowing or suspecting, that you are indeed facing a predatory entity, you begin to use powerful techniques to not only fight off such predation, but also take from the takers. This is accomplished by mastering techniques that can allow you to pull energy from them in the same way that they are trying to pull energy from you.

I discuss these techniques, along with the nature of these non-organic predators, at length in the book, the vampires way, mentioned at the beginning of this article. But as the crux of the information presented here, I want you to consider the possibility that the angel that you see, just might be a devil, and that the way to know which is which is to notice if this interaction that you are having is truly helpful, or if it is just emotionally draining without much in the way of actual concrete assistance.

If you are losing vitality but are getting nothing truly solid from the encounter, then it is quite likely that you are dealing with a predator, not a helper.

Life is far far more varied than the current rational reality map believes possible. We are not the apex predator that we feel we are, we do not stand tall at the tip of some evolutionary tree like mighty gods, as the current rational world view says. Instead, we fit into a hierarchy of existence that in its complexity does not just include the organic and the physical, but also the non-organic, which encapsulates complexities of such vast proportions, that humanity in its hubris might just go insane, if it were able to truly discover the true nature of cosmic reality.

Cats are incredibly intriguing creatures. They have been worshipped throughout history, especially in ancient cultures, and one might wonder, why is it that the cat has been so revered and so loved throughout the ages?

The ancient Egyptians worshipped cats. There were special festivals just for the adoration of cats, and it was said that when the family cat died, special ceremonies were performed, where people shaved their eyebrows to mourn the passing of them.

The Egyptian goddess Bast is depicted in cat form, and by looking into the worship and the characteristics of this goddess, much can be discovered about the true power of cats.

In Norse mythology the goddess Freya was associated with cats. In Japan cats have also been worshipped and often attributed with supernatural abilities.

Indeed, cats have been revered and feared to some extent throughout history, and there has always been this mystical quality about them that has been recognized by many. In the best of cases, cats were considered to be protective spirits, especially of crops and the land.

But why is this? The fact that they are considered protectors of crops and land may be easily understood rationally, being that they are prodigious killers of mice and other vermin. But why were they given mystical attributions? Why were they considered to be enlightened beings?

Well, from the inner alchemist’s point of view, they are strange and mystical creatures to be sure.

In order to understand the mystical nature of cats, we do not have to look much further than perhaps there most compelling feature, which is their eyes. Cats have an incredibly powerful stare, incredibly powerful vision. To look into a cat’s eyes, is to be lost in a different world. When they look at you they seem to look right through you.

But this is just the relatively simple perception of the outer senses. The average person is captivated by those beautiful big eyes, by their unflinching and yet completely relaxed gaze. But for those that can see, for those that can use their inner senses, it becomes instantly obvious that that gaze is far more powerful than some may suspect.

The cat has always been given mystical abilities, because those that can see, and those that can intuit such things, have always known that the cat can look in between worlds, past the ordinary and mundane reality.

Cats can see past the material essence of things, and due to that ability, they can quite literally be used as a kind of catalyst, like a tiny key, in order to be able to see beyond this three-dimensional cube.

Even without the ability to see yourself, if you own a cat, you can try this now. Lightly gaze into your cats’ eyes as it gazes in any direction. Use your intuition and the feelings that you get, and see if you can note that such a gaze by the cat, seems to be able to pierce some kind of membrane, like it is able to somehow extend beyond the linear scope of that gaze, into another angle, another dimension, another place. As you lightly gaze into your cats gazing, you may feel the reflection of other worlds.

Ancient seers, especially in temples where cat worship was engaged in, would use that power to be able to see beyond the veil of the material. By focusing their seeing on the gaze of the cat, they could use such a gaze sort of like a magical mirror, that would reflect back to them, other deeper realities. As such, cats are a conduit to the spirit.

But there is greater power to them beyond this, and this relates to why H.P. Lovecraft love them so. He in his own words said that, he had a particular respect and affection for them since his infancy. For him cats were a fount of great imagination and the deepest perception. In other words, he knew of the ability of the cat to be able to take you beyond this dimension, and far into materially unperceived of places. Cats played a large and compelling role in some of his stories, and seemed to be native in the dream dimensions, the dreamland, that he sometimes wrote about. And it is in those stories that we are given the final clue as to the power of the cat, and this power is the power of the dreamer. Quite simply, cats are dreamers, they are master projectionists.

How they see, where they see, their gaze, is a gaze that can see across dimensions. It can see into those places where they dream. The cycles of their awake and dreaming states, while annoying to the average person that is so stuck in the routines of the nine-to-five, tells us of a more natural cycle, the cycle of the dreamer, that engages in inner projections of attention in a much more fluid manner throughout the day and night.

Just like there gaze can take you beyond the material, such gaze can also take you into dream realities, dream lands, worlds and cities beyond imagining by the rational mind. H.P. Lovecraft loved cats because they are quite literally a kind of key, the kind of key that I usually speak of when I speak of the power of the projectionist, the power of the inner alchemists and conscious dreamer to go beyond the three-dimensional trap, and into dream dimensions far beyond this material containment that traps the modern human. Perhaps this is why, cats have become so popular in this age of pure materialism.

The cat is a kind of dual creature, one that can exist in places beyond this place. And those that may not be able to see, can still intuit such truth by looking at them, and by trying to follow their gaze, as it somehow tries to take them beyond the material and into the magical, the spiritual other dimensions.

Their eyes are just like the eyes of a seasoned projectionist. Cats have the eyes of a kind of alien creature, a creature that does not seem to be wholly materially focused. A creature that seems to have the possibility to go far, and having returned from its journeys, seems to have brought something back, something alien, something that some consider dark, cold, a darkness, a sliver from that dark sea that I often talk about in my books.

I received a comment on my site that I found deeply interesting.

The commenter asked me about a particular trend that he had heard about, having to do with astral projection, and the possibility of using various techniques to move into alternate worlds. This particular trend that he wrote to me about was happening in Tik-Tok, which is a short form video hosting site, where people may post videos up to 15 seconds long.

This particular trend that he was talking about, involved a tik-tok group that was interested in something that they referred to as shifting. The commenter explained that this shifting allows the participant to essentially project astrally, and then “shift” their consciousness to a desired reality. In this particular case, most often to some kind of fantasy realm, another timeline, one that is very much like or just like a fantasy or sci fi book or movie.

He asked me if such a thing, in accordance with my practice was possible, and he was also interested in knowing if such an ability meant that the Archon, which is something that I discuss in great detail in some of my books, would then be a moot point. In other words, if one could shift into such other worlds, and stay there for extended periods of time, perhaps worlds where time did not function the same way that it does here, so that an hour in physical reality might mean a week in that other world let us say, then such a thing as a Demiurge or in Archon, if such shifting was possible, would make such Titans laughable, instantly escapable using such techniques.

This is a wonderful comment and question certainly, and the idea that such an interesting trend is happening on tik-tok is quite compelling to me. The commenter, who has experience with astral travel said that many of the techniques discussed seemed viable, and as such it is wonderful for me to know that such a thing is happening, that people are using such sites to share information and experience, and indeed it has always been my hope that people begin to do things like this, exploiting modern technology, and develop modern versions of ancient techniques, and share those in an infinitely agile space,

in order to develop highly creative new techniques and impetus, to accomplish those things that the average rational world believes to be impossible.

There will always be of course a great deal of disinformation, incorrect information, to some degree, in such open forums. But in such agile spaces, where hundreds or thousands of people can express themselves quickly and openly, I feel that a serious practitioner will always gain a great deal from such sources. And the momentum of such a trend, the wave of it, is incredibly important in starting a push away from the morose aspects of current rational reality, where people are constantly being fed limitation and dower news, as opposed to being given wings to fly free.

So, to me, this is perhaps the greatest aspect of this particular news shared by this commenter. But I also feel that in order to help with this trend, I need to give a little bit of nuanced information in accordance with the current of inner alchemy, in the hopes that such information may help people participating in those trends.

To begin with, as I have mentioned on a few article and certain books, more specifically the books, the way of the projectionist, and out of body experiences quickly and naturally, such a thing as shifting is possible, doable, and indeed the way by which inner alchemists are able to begin to defy the great gravity, the dimensional density, of this rational reality, which I have described as being like a trap, like a cube, a small cube, that surrounds us and keeps us bound to a prison of materiality and limitation.

Inner alchemists having discovered techniques that allow them to participate in this kind of shifting, can move into such alternate spaces, alternate realities as it were, and there participate in incredible adventures and perception events, that can begin overtime to greatly change the nature of their being, so that after they become adept in this shifting technique,

after they have spent enough time in those other, more expansive realities, they truly become so free and so vast internally, that when they return to average human reality, in many ways you could say that they have become a kind of alien in their own world, in the average human world.

Such shifting might seem trite to some, who might feel that going to a supposedly perfect fantasy reality might mean nothing in the real world. But such travels can vastly increase a person’s intellect, can open them up to incredible diversity of space and time, and can indeed change them so much overtime that to put it bluntly, the average world becomes slow and banal in comparison.

In accordance with inner alchemy therefore, there are indeed many alternate spaces, spaces that either exist as separate worlds, such as the worlds potentially created in the quantum multi-verse theory, or worlds created by one or a group of such shifters. So, there are in essence alternate worlds, and there are also created worlds, and each one is expansive and changing, growing, just like this world, but depending on the nature of that world, the laws applicable here might not exist there at all. For that reason, participating in those worlds can allow such shifters to become creators, adventurers, psychonaughts of great prowess on some occasions, and being that such inner motion is so unlimited, at least in comparison to the mundane rational reality with all its density, such inner motion is indeed the way to greater human transformation.

Of particular note in this comment, is the idea that such worlds might allow a person to make the Archon moot as it were, and this is the part that needs some nuance in my reply.

While it is possible for such practitioners, such shifters, to begin to greatly expand the size of their world, and even expand the length of their own living existence, by shifting into dimensional spaces that do not have the kind of restrictions to be found here in this dense earthly reality, there are certain limitations that must be understood. Those limitations are indeed part of the challenge of this life let us say, being that overcoming these limitations, these challenges, is the way towards greater growth, which then opens up more and more possibilities that are in essence beyond scope, beyond limitations of any kind as they progress, that indeed can lead such shifters to what may be referred to as eternity.

I have on occasion referred to this challenge as gravity, in order to try to equate such a challenge to the modern quest of moving into space, the space-age, and the current race to get off the planet. But this challenge or obstacle, might also be referred to as density, vibration, or any of the other terms used by any particular discipline that might use and understand such techniques as astral travel, shifting, or the way of the projectionist.

In this particular case though, the best term to explain these Archonic limitations might be entropy. Now, entropy means in the most basic sense, the measure of the possible randomness of any particular system. And what this means within the context of shifting, is that, within that cube that I have spoken of, within that world that we find ourselves as material creatures, there exists a force that has created, that has helped to create, a particular kind of weight or friction within the founding parameters of that world.

The entropy to be found within this material world means in a sense that there is only so much energy that can be accessed, supposedly, and that due to this lack, due to this finite-ness to what is possible, anything and everything done within this particular dimensional cube, this trap, comes at a certain cost in accordance to how close you are to that entropy creating entity, how close you are to the ruler of this dimensional space, how close you are to the Archon.

This may sound complicated, but it all really boils down to the idea that depending on where you are in space-time, depending on where you are in any particular dimension, that entropy will always cost you in accordance to how close you are to the material dimension, which is the dimension where the archonic force rules completely. That entropy means that whatever you do will always cost some energy, some kind of fuel. Everything costs something, there is a barter, a give-and-take, a drag, a gravity, a friction, a density, to everything.

In accordance with inner alchemy, such a fuel can be referred to as the amount of energy that any particular person has, the amount of energy contained within any particular person, personal energy. To simplify things further, inner alchemists can further refine such terms and methodology by saying that that energy, could be perceived within the material world as focus. In other words, personal energy equals personal focus. The more energy the individual has, the more focus that they have, the more fuel that they have, and therefore the more ability that they have to participate in those alternate worlds that the shifters seek.

Now, being that this fuel is all-important, being that focus is all-important, it is this personal power that inner alchemists seek at all costs. And further, it is this fuel that the archon feeds on. So, it is this fuel that the shifters need to spend increasing amounts of time in other worlds, but this fuel is also sought by the archon, and that is the nature of the challenge. And this fuel is all-important, because it allows such shifters to not only extend the amount of time that they can shift, but it also allows them to manipulate to a far greater degree in those other worlds. This is the cost, and this is the challenge of the archon, that fuel. And this is the true nature of entropy in accordance with inner alchemy.

For that reason, it is in that sense a battle with the Archon. The Archon is not moot therefore, because such shifters will always be fighting the entropy created by the Archon. And when such shifters are able to go far enough, that this Archonic entropy loses some of its power because they have gone so far from the material let us say, they will discover that there are other entropy generating entities out there, of titanic proportions, of ever-increasing proportions, that all shifters, that all projectionists, must deal with. And indeed, if such shifters are worth their salt, if they have partaken in great adventures and have been able to fortify themselves and hone their weapons and their armor in those other dimensions, then these obstacles, this increasing complexity in entropy that must be overcome, becomes a source of growth, a way of empowerment.

And in that overcoming, evolution happens, until the projectionist, the shifter, has gained so much fuel and so much ability, that they are able to tackle the greatest entropy generating force for us, death itself.

What I am trying to say, is that there is a cost to things, nothing is free, at least not within this dimensional zone, and being that the shifter’s, the projectionist’s body, their physical essence, is during physical life trapped within this dimensional zone, they must understand that they must contend with this cost. The Archon is not moot, it is our eternal challenge while physically alive, and this means at the very least that a shifter may need to work on their technique, before they are able to get the kinds of results that they seek.

I mention this because it is my desire that such a trend continues, and for that to happen, the obstacles to such a magnificent inner action, this shifting, must be understood so that those that participate in it are not instantly discouraged, but knowing about this entropy to be found in this dimensional reality where they exist as physical beings, they can then incorporate this knowing, and use the infinitely creative space that they have been using thus far, to come up with better and better ways to overcome it.

And let me be clear, in accordance with the practice and the doings of inner alchemy, shifting, the way of the projectionist, is indeed real, possible, and can lead to expanded realities of proportions that are beyond rational scope. And such shifting, can allow such intrepid travelers and adventurers, to participate in journeys of such vast proportions, that such individuals can truly be said to be living out sometimes even multiple lifetimes in realities beyond most people’s imagination.

I, like many people across the world, tuned in to Tesla’s AI 2022 presentation.

I found the presentation incredibly fascinating, and while I did note afterwards that many people did not like this presentation or what had been said, my belief is that most of those people just do not really understand what just happened.

What has happened to me, and to many others who most likely understand the nature of this technology far better than I do, is that confirmation has been given that an incredible new movement has truly started now, where the event horizon of the robotic age has finally been reached.

What this means is that, while we have seen robots taking off as a workable and scalable technology to an ever-increasing degree in the last few decades, this presentation really means that a true and deep change is coming. We can no longer hold back a technology that has finally hit a culmination point.

Tesla, and all of Elon musk’s companies, no matter what the critics say, really represent a kind of tipping point into a new reality, a reality where the scale of our technological advancement has reached a level where the next step, where the obvious step, is now possible at a scalable level.

Think about it like this, the electric car was already possible. Indeed, it was not only inevitable, but it was the right choice some time ago. No matter where you stand on the subject, it is the case that there have been many different forms of locomotion available for a while now, that have been put to the wayside, stifled at times even, because there is a need by an established order to maintain that established order. But there always comes a time when the wave of the technological advancements’ possible hits a tipping point, and it is at this point when the crest of the wave begins to turn over, and such technology can no longer be held back any longer, the wave of the mass of it must crash. And by this crash of the wave, I do not mean that the technology is falling apart, but exactly the opposite. What I mean is that the mass weight of it now has enough momentum to carry it across, in a gravitational sense, into a new era of geometric growth and potential.

This was the case with the electric car, and it took an innovative and ‘agile’ company like Tesla to be able to turn the electric car into a truly viable, and most importantly scalable, technology. Certainly, there is much to do in this regard, there is still the need to increase such scaling so that the price of such vehicles lowers, so that the infrastructure required by such vehicles is developed to the point that everyone can use one, but you could say in many ways, that the tipping point for the electric car has already happened, an inevitable crash of a wave has begun to occur, and the momentum of it would now be very difficult to stop.

Tesla’s AI 2022 presentation just announced to those that are paying attention, that a new tipping point is now on the horizon. That new tipping point is robotics, more specifically in this case humanoid robotics, and the movement of this new cresting wave, being that the infrastructure for its development has already been set up, will happen very fast.

[The Tesla electric car, and more specifically the Full Self Driving package that they are developing, means that the infrastructure needed to create a scalable bipedal robot, (as opposed to a wheeled one like the electric car with Full Self Driving capability) makes the development of such a humanoid robot almost inevitable. If Full Self Driving is conquered by Tesla, then the humanoid robot that they are proposing is inevitable.]

I have mentioned the increasing rate of all recent technological advancement, by referencing to it as a quickening, a quickening of the psyche, the development and expansion of the inner self of humanity. This quickening in the end represents the vast evolution of the inner self in the direction of an inner distinctiveness and expansiveness. Another way to say this from the inner alchemist’s point of view is to say that, the ghost in the machine, which is the term that I use for this inner conscious and creative aspect of humanity, is developing, in some ways is being nurtured into developing, in a certain direction, and that direction can be perceived externally as that technological quickening.

The inner aspects of this quickening, the parts that are the true foundation of it, the expansion and evolution of the inner self, are not perceivable by the physical senses, because the physical senses are not able to perceive the true energetic reality of existence. The outer physical senses can only perceive external manifestations, side effects, consequences, of that inner quickening. One such external consequence, perhaps the most easily perceivable one, is the increasing rate of our technological evolution.

Humanity is changing, it is evolving. Even though the archonically established density of this world, the gravity of it, is stifling humanity as much as possible and locking it into a kind of energetic eddy, growth is still happening. The unfortunate thing is that this growth can be manipulated and controlled by those forces, which essentially means that our growth, our evolution is not a conscious one as it should be. It is instead reactionary, it is slow and directed into a purely material focus, and as such, all that could be possible for us, is now happening from an external point of view only.

This latest new technological wave represents humanity’s attempt to conquer yet another evolutionary hurdle, in a completely technological way. The humanoid robotic revolution is the technological and purely material way to overcome the friction of labor, and more importantly in accordance with the subject of this article, it is technologies attempt to overcome the increasing need for personal assistance robots and companions.

And while there might be a great deal of debate as to the speed of this robot revolution and Tesla’s role in it, what cannot be underestimated is how quickly this revolution will happen.

But what does this mean for the average person? Is it possible that certain inner techniques could be exploited to make this revolution even better in certain ways? Is it at the very least possible to balance this purely material evolution, with a more spiritual one?

In order to really know the answer to these questions, and the reason for a more balanced approach, we must understand what is happening to us at a deeper level. And to that end, I can say that we are evolving, humanity is changing, but the speed and the direction of this change may become quite problematic over time. As we are unconsciously forced to evolve, in spite of archonic friction, we are becoming more isolated, more like islands, more individual as opposed to herd like creatures.

This is a natural consequence of inner expansion as I will explain, but due to the utter technological focus of the species, this increasing need for individual space is being hijacked, and turned into a kind of technological dystopia. Some have said that in this new technological environment we are becoming more and more isolated, being that we are more focused on our technology than on each other. But this growing technological distance is a kind of half-truth, not real in a certain sense,

because even though our technology might seem to be allowing us to find space to be more creative, it is also limiting and controlling that space, and in many ways, it is corralling us instead of setting us free.

Another way to look at this is to realize that we are beginning to use a different ranking in our perceptive scale. To explain this further, you could say that we are not expanding our perception really, at the moment we are not expanding inwardly in order to match the vastness of our outer technological prowess. What we are doing instead is changing the priority of where we focus our physical senses, that is all.

Instead of focusing our vision on the world around us, and expanding the ability of that vision to look inwardly, to look into new horizons and new dimensions, we are prioritizing instead the many screens that are growing in number all around us. Our vision is no longer as focused on the physical environment let us say. Instead to a greater and greater degree it is being focused into the screen, and into a kind of new cyber reality.

This is easy to see, and it may have a few hiccups along the way, that is, it may happen that at a future time, in accordance with certain particular trends, we might let go of screens for a little, but inevitably we are headed in a certain direction, that in the very best of terms, may lead humanity into hopefully a more expanded reality and awareness, in time. But, this inevitable trend, this current that is getting quicker, this quickening, that is being channelled at this time into material technology only, means that if certain trends continue, we will continue to focus into those screens more and more, so that instead of looking out more clearly, we will look into our screens, and in that way begin to shift our awareness in accordance to the nature of our technology.

This shift will not be into the vastness of inner space and other dimensions with all their potential freedom, but into a controlled cyber verse. We will go inwardly, but we will do so, we are doing so right now, in accordance with technology, thanks to technology, and such bounded technological motion, at least from the inner alchemist’s point of view, has some negative consequences.

This motion inwardly into a kind of material version of an inner reality, which may be termed cyber scape, does not and will not just involve our vision, but it will also involve every single other physical sense that we use. We have begun to listen more and more through our headphones let us say, and use our physical ears less and less to hear the birds and the bees all around us,

and in that way we have not only begun to corral in a new way how we hear our external physical environment, but we have also been able to create internal environments, listen to entire symphonies that are not happening in the physical world, but that are happening in a kind of cyberspace, which is turning into a pretty limited vision of what true inner reality is all about. This will eventually apply to every single physical sense that we have, until there will come a point when there will be no real difference between cyber reality, and what we now term physical reality, that is, the outer world in accordance to the nature of our physical senses.

This is one particular direction of motion, brought about by that quickening and that technological revolution mentioned. But along the way, we will need to develop all sorts of other foundational aspects of our infrastructure, in order to make that complete cyber immersion possible.

Of key importance in that technological motion is the ability to create a highly functional worker machine, that can take over at least the most menial and labor-intensive aspects of physical reality.

Such a motion has started, and it is going to be upon us far quicker than most realize. As I have said, as long as Tesla continues to develop at its current rate, the crest of this wave has almost been reached, and there is a great potential for growth, expansion, and freedom, as long as we maintain our sobriety.

In other words, there is great potential and goodness in this technology. This technology can be an incredibly good thing, but we must evolve with that technology. Our inner reality must become as vast and complex as our outer one, or else our technology will become our prison.

So, as these worker machines, these robots, become more and more complex at incredible speed, these worker humanoids will also start to become our companion robots. Such robots then will become essential in our development, because they will help us to transition into the more individual lives that have become the norm for many of us.

The human development towards this individual nature, this more loaner like nature, is inevitable. As the psyche develops, as the intellect grows, there is a greater need for that growing individuality to spend more and more time within the ever-growing vastness within the self. This is actually quite healthy for the growing individuality, and indeed the nature of that individual change in the human species is remarkable to see over time. For example, I think most people would be astonished to note the difference between a medieval European and a current person.

Using the inner senses, it is possible to focus the attention into that era, and what one can see is truly remarkable in many ways. During the medieval period there was an incredible richness to life that is unmatched in modern times, and the depth and the beauty of such a time for humanity, had everything to do with a kind of gregarious communal connection that is impossible in the modern era. People in the medieval age were far less individual than they are now. People were far more reliant on external stimulus in order to dictate action, and the individual was far more herdlike in many ways. People clustered more, took individual cues from the group, and there needed to be a far richer physical existence. Another way to say this would be to say that the richness of that time, allowed for the development of a far more gregarious, social, herd-like existence.

From a linear time perspective, which is limited but still applicable in order to explain certain aspects of existence from a human point of view, there is a positive motion towards greater individual complexity. This growing complexity is happenings slowly, but it is still happening, and the consequence of that growing complexity by the individual is that there is a quickening in technology, and a greater need within a person to find their own space, to make space for themselves and the growing awareness of their inner selves. A bigger and more complex mind means less gregariousness in some ways, and a greater need to spend more time alone.

But there exists a certain trend, a developing one in this modern time, that could see a reversal in such individual self-exploration, one where a new cyber world may replace the complexity and the richness that were found in the medieval era for example, and this could then mean a return to a more herd-like and reactive humanity. This is something that should be considered carefully by anyone interested in the expansion of the self, and greater freedom.

Such intricate development inwardly, into the material idea of the inner reality, which is the cyber reality, can take many different routes and some of those roots can lead to bottlenecks. In accordance with the way of inner alchemy, the purely technological development of such a motion towards inner vastness, through the use of purely technological means, is the beginning of one such potential bottleneck.

The basic reason for this is that all such technology, being that it is created by forces outside the self, that is, you are not creating such technology, you are getting it from somewhere else, purchasing it with ‘money’ at this time in history, means that this way towards the inner vastness of the individual, relies on an outer and commercially material tool.

Inner alchemy says that such a motion inwardly should be individual from the outset, controlled wholly and completely by the individual, and reliant on nothing outside of the individual, so as to keep such motion as free as possible.

In the best of terms, and being that open source software and hardware is becoming more and more accessible, such inner technological motion into the screen, will hopefully allow for a balanced and liberated development along many lines. So that in time, such cyberspace might begin to open doors into true other dimensions, instead of just limiting the self by creating a controllable cyberspace, a kind of multifaceted cyber-room to lead and control the masses.

But if this is not the case, in order to give greater variance, and therefore freedom, to that growing inner complexity within humanity, it is possible to combine the quickening of modern technology with the wisdom and power of inner alchemy.

One possible way, and one that relates to the coming of the robotic revolution, which is the focus of this article, is the nature of the companion. As robots grow in complexity, now at an ever-increasing rate thanks to the technological power of Tesla, an offshoot of such robotic technology will be a development of the robotic companion.

Currently we have seen an incredible growth in the need for pets of all sorts, that can fill the need for a companion as we separate as individuals more and more. But as robots grow in complexity, and their ability to become companions increases, as the ability of certain AI language models allows for more complex interactions between man and machine, these robots and this language model AI will begin to fill in some of the gaps that pets cannot.

In order to offset that movement into a technological bottleneck therefore, as an inner alchemist, I would greatly suggest that you also try to use alchemical techniques, things aside and potentially beyond anything possible even by developing technology, to empower your mind to do what we are now completely self-reliant on technology to try to do for us. For example, a companion can be created using purely mental techniques, using the power of the mind alone.

It is possible for the inner alchemist to create a servitor, which is a mental creation, a kind of highly personalized ‘thought form’ that can attain a kind of density, thickness, that can transcend that line between what is mind and what is matter. You can think of a servitor as being a kind of imaginary friend or servant of great power, one that begins as a purely mental thing but that in time can become more and more real, intensely real even in what we refer to as physical reality using the techniques of inner alchemy. As such, a servitor can indeed perform miracles from the average human point of view.

So, more specifically, an inner alchemist can create a servitor companion, and these can provide all of the company necessary in those times when a person is alone, and is perhaps exploring the inner aspects of themselves, that growing inner complexity that can only be explored alone. And might I add, from personal experience I know that such a purely mental science, and such servitor companions, can far surpass anything technologically possible now, or in the near future.

I mention this because it is not my desire to stifle this growing technological revolution, because there is indeed great potential in it, but to mention other methods, and to provide different techniques possible, that can either give greater variance, or even augment what is possible with just technology. In this way it is my hope that such a bottleneck can be averted, that such a return to the herdlike mentality and the superstition of the medieval era can be avoided. And the only way to do this is to help each developing individual discover their inner power, the power of their minds over just the use of external technological machines.

Ideally of course, the great goal is to develop the mind to the point that it is as powerful, or more powerful, than any external contraption. But this is a lofty goal and an impossible one for most of us. Instead, we can try to shoot for balance, and by balance I mean the skill to develop the mind and its abilities, so that it can begin to tap into at least some of the great potential within it.

Such potential could allow an individual to remember far more than they could ever imagine, the ability to live in inner palaces of their own creation, and to perhaps even learn how to move beyond physicality and completely into other dimensional realms. Such abilities would then balance the mind, allow it to grow, allow the ghost in the machine to grow, so that a cyberpunk style bottleneck could be averted.

As you read the material that I have written thus far on inner alchemy, the books, the blog, and the videos, there may develop an almost natural tendency to want to align concepts that you might have been studying from other sources, with what I have written in accordance with the perceptions of inner alchemy. For example, you might have been studying and may know a great deal about other occult systems, such as Hermetics, wicca, eastern occult systems, or perhaps the Golden Dawn system of occult practice, and you might wonder how inner alchemy explains and defines those same concepts that you know about.

In this article I have taken a definition, a term, that is of common parlance in the occult world, and I have used it to dive very deeply into the thoughts, perceptions, and structuring done by inner alchemists. I hope that you will forgive me for the at times complexity of this article, and that you prepare yourself for a deep discussion into human possibility. My reasons for this deep dive have to do with a need to expand the nature of the material that I have presented thus far, especially the material that I have discussed in the inner alchemists course-book trilogy. I feel that it is time to step it up a notch as it were, in order to begin a more advanced level of technique and understanding.

So to recap what I mentioned at the start of the article,

because of previous knowledge in occult science, you might want to know how inner alchemy relates to those things that you already know about. In this article in particular, I want to discuss the concept of the higher self. I have been asked, how does the ‘higher self’ fit into the material that I have discussed and revealed thus far, specifically in the course-book, The Way of the death defier. And to that, I must start off with a key point, or that is a key aspect of the current that I follow. This is a very important technique within my current, a fundamental principal, and that is the intent of creating a proper structuring of the mind, the mind palace as it were, which I have referred to as the technique of expanding the logos in the above mentioned course-books.

Inner alchemists are very much interested in developing the most pristine logos possible, because they know that this is a critical step in breaking down the walls of the three dimensional trap, that this rational human world is to them. To that end, they know that they must first start by structuring this dimension, this objective world, in the most precise and immaculate way possible. This means that they must bind and order not only, all the things that they can perceive with their physical senses, which are the things that any person can perceive with their eyes, ears, nose  etc., they must also order in precise and logical fashion, all those things that they can perceive of other worlds from this world, that is, what they can see through their direct energetic perceptions, their inner senses.

Creating a pristine logos means giving a logical structure, to all those things that become a part of the inner alchemist’s reality, their mind palace.

To do this, they engage themselves in becoming master logicians, meaning that they are able to understand the phenomenology and the syntax of the world that they have been born into, and any world that they can eventually perceive using energetic awareness, inner senses, which may be termed seeing. The expansion of the logos is also highly important to the inner alchemist as they engage in projectionist techniques, which may also be understood as a highly powerful form of astral travel. Another way to say this is that they must understand to perfection the causal structure defined by a certain human worldview first off, the syntax and the phenomenal world that has become prevalent in these times, they must bind the causal structural laws of this three dimensional reality, and then they must do the same to all the other worlds, that is dimensions, that become available to them as the power of their seeing and projecting grows within them. This involves a logical understanding that far surpasses just the use of simple first-order logic, and does as time progresses include what might be termed philosophical logic, meta-logic, chaos logic, quantum mechanical logic, and generally phenomenological understanding at such a deep level, that it moves the logician into the deep complexities of non-classical logic. This structuring and growing power, as the mind palace grows, begins to go beyond this dimensional zone, this world, through a systematic ordering referred to as the creation and continual expansion of the logos.

As a foundational principle of this logical structuring, a key point (at least within the context of this physical dimension) becomes terminology and definitions; this is referred to as binding or bounding. That is, in order to understand the certain objective and subjective dimensional syntax of this physical reality and go beyond it, the boundaries and the complete definitions of all those things that make up that phenomenal structure must be established, the bounding must be established at the onset of the structuring. What this means in the simplest sense, and in particular in accordance with this article and the questions that have been asked about the higher self, is that to understand the inner alchemists’ point of view on this, you must clearly define first off what you mean by this term, higher self. Terms are important, terminology is in a basic sense the words that we use to define our world, any world, any dimension, and words are very important because they are the meta structure of the logos within the context of what we refer to as, the three-dimensional world, the rational world, the supposedly only real world.

So, to begin to answer this question we must clearly define what you may mean by the higher self, because if we do not do this, then my descriptions of what inner alchemy thinks of the higher self may not fit within the paradigm of your definitions. This is a very important point, and it is the cause of most of the strife that we see when people discuss or debate issues. This is so because their bounding of a certain perceived object or event is different than your bounding, that is the measuring and defining, of one person is different from another. It will be the same term, the same word, but the binding, the defining, is different. Without this metalogical preciseness, well, we are left with the endless jabbering and trolling that we see in this modern cyber culture, where even those that agree at a fundamental level, are separated and made to fight each other because of semantic inconsistencies.

So to begin, if we define the higher self as, a kind of eternal and omnipotent consciousness, that is (within the bounds of many definitions) a kind of God above, the God above that is within us but is also beyond us, and that each and every one of us, according to this particular definition, has an individual higher self, then we can begin in accordance with that definition, and in accordance to that definition only, discuss how such a definition may align itself with the direct energetic perceptions of inner alchemy.

With the above in mind then, inner alchemists do believe that there is a force, an individually perceived ray or light essence, that in some ways could be defined as the higher self, if you feel that this light essence represents a wished for ideal of your best self.

But there is a great deal of nuance and complexity, and unless these details are understood, at least from the inner alchemist’s point of view, then there can be errors made that can make the person aspiring to try to align themselves with their higher self, move in a direction that may not be favorable to them as individuals.

For example, for an inner alchemist the higher self is not an object existing somewhere out there, but it is instead a destination, a road. Another way to say this would be to say that the higher self is not a thing like an apple, or a table is a thing, but it is instead a directly perceived, that is seen through the inner senses, energetic configuration that is in no place and in every place simultaneously. If we use the above mentioned standard definition of the higher self, one could say that the higher self is not a place but a road, you don’t contact it by going to it per se, by reaching its location, instead, you align with it and you follow a path, a way, to try to get to it. But this is indeed a never ending road and in accordance to the seeing of inner alchemy, depending on your definitions (or your map, your perhaps unconscious logos let’s say) you may never reach this destination, the higher self is nowhere and yet in a certain sense it is everywhere within a certain range of probabilities.

For an inner alchemist, this road to that energetic conglomeration leads to freedom and lightness (less gravity), for a different individual it might lead to something completely different, it might lead to a wholly different place. We all have our roads to follow, our own individual higher self to chase, our own individual configuration to aspire to.

To give more clarity to all of this, which basically means looking into the details, the nuance, where the devil always hides as they say, we must begin by defining how it is that inner alchemists perceive. As I have stated in my books on inner alchemy, an inner alchemist is someone who has learned to perceive energy directly, to use something that one may term the inner senses in order to perceive that which is beyond objective reality, that is beyond objects, beyond the binding of three dimensional existence, the physical senses, and the rational stance of the times. An inner alchemists strives to go beyond a mob driven world view, that is bound by the laws of a kind of very simple form of classical mechanics.

By being able to see energy directly, an inner alchemist can directly perceive the tides of energy as they flow across infinity. And through those perceptions, what people might term an eternal conscious and intelligent being (a thing, object, or individual out there somewhere) is actually to an inner alchemist an energetic pooling, meaning that to them through their seeing the higher self is a non thing, it is a conglomeration, a number of different energetic components bound together in a kind of configuration that defies object-hood. To the inner alchemist the higher self is not an object, it is not something that has boundaries, and without boundaries it is not in essence a constant definable thing, but it is instead a large and ever-changing range of possibilities that is at all time, projecting an ever changing song or light. Because objective binding presupposes consistency, the terminology of that consistency can create, to use the nicest terms possible, a mislabeling of the complexities of this structure that some bind by referring to it as the higher self.

That which could be termed the higher self then, is not something that is just one thing, and being that it is not a thing in and of itself, because again it is not bound to three dimensions and therefore it is not an object, this gestalt or energetic and symbolic configuration or pattern of elements that might be defined as the higher self is not one bound thing, but it is instead manyfold non-things.

In accordance with the original definition at the start of the article, each person has an individual higher self. This ordinarily believed dogmatic understanding by the average person, again in accordance with the direct perceptions of inner alchemy only, is false in a way, and yet in some ways it is right in a way as well. This is a most difficult thing to describe, but understanding the nuance of this is highly important for true evolutionary understanding. The dogma based belief that each individual has their own unique higher self, like a piece for you forever and a piece for me, and these pieces are kept here for me and are kept there for you, is wrong, because energetically this is a non-local, a not here nor there essence that is available to all simultaneously. From the perceptive point of inner alchemists, It is not that each individual has a higher self, but that each individual perceives this non object differently and therefore from that unique individual perception, the individual finds its own individual higher self. This is a difficult nuanced point, but it is a very important one, because it opens up the notion of multiple states of being, which is the true and fundamental point of this article.

 

People always see things in a cause and effect structure that must put something before the other, that is there is always some cause that created an effect in a linear, this happened before that, kind of structure. This again is because most people are bound solely to three dimensions and therefore believed that everything exists within three dimensions only, that causality can only be possible because of three dimensions, there are no other worlds, this is the only real world. And it is the case then that they literally cannot see beyond this reality, they cannot see, they can only look with their physical senses. But for an inner alchemist there is more to reality than this, there is more than object-hood and linear time structure.

Using that understanding of non-linear time models and non three dimensional spacial bounding, meaning that for the inner alchemist cause and effect can break the bounds of linear models, which is I know an impossibility from the rational point of view, inner alchemists can see nonetheless that each individual can perceive a different aspect of the confluence of configurations described earlier. I mention this causal expansion of perception, this ability to see cause and effect beyond linear time models, because it is very important in all discussions involving a conceptualize higher self, because in all such discussions of these higher orders such as the higher self, there is often this problem that some people run into where they are trying desperately to figure out if it was the chicken or the egg that came first, if it is the chicken that is higher or if it’s the egg, if it’s the chicken that is morally right or is it the egg, etc.

The problems with individuality and beliefs in the existence of an individual higher self for everyone, can run into such problems as to which came first, the higher consciousness or the individual, and by believing that either the chicken came first, or the egg, such binding can create beliefs that at least in accordance with inner alchemists, are not energetically true. This nuanced deviation in understanding can cause great problems as these dogmatic beliefs evolve, and it is this meta principle, interestingly, that is responsible for not only a lack of understanding of highly complex systems, but it is also the cause of much of the black or white, up or down, higher or lower, polarities and distinctions created by the dogmatically bound human world.

Anyway, to get back to point, you can think of it like this: each individual is in a particular position in space and time, as such we could metaphorically imagine that each one of these individuals that is scattered across a geography of space and time, is looking up at a large cloud.

They are then metaphorically looking up at a kind of large configuration of energetic elements united. Being that each individual is in a particular location, that is each individual is in a particular space-time position, their view of this immense cloud above them is different, because each angle as they look up is different. This means that each individual is looking at a particular facet of this enormous cloud above them, and so to each individual this cloud may seem to be different, and being different and being bound to the individual’s perceptions, a subjective experience, it is believed by each individual that the higher self is individual as well, that is each person has their own particular higher self.

Here is where one problem of the chicken and the egg comes in. From an energetic point of view, this perception of the above cloud being individual or not, is both true and false, that is, there is indeed one all encompassing higher self for everyone that exists beyond the individual, but

there is also an individual higher self for each individual, being that each individual through their personal perceptions does embody an aspect of that cloud of energy. There are therefore two possible states simultaneously,

One where the higher self is an individual thing, and one where the higher self is not an individual thing, but it is instead something far greater than just the one, like a vast energetic cloud somewhere beyond the individual. Both things are true, but to believe that only one is true and not the other, creates a bounding limitation, that in time will cause problems for the evolving individual.

This is a difficult topic, and it is a difficult thing to understand, and it will always be difficult to understand until you can let go of object-hood perception which demands that you only have one state, one real supposedly event.

In other words both the chicken and the egg were created at the same time, or it might be better to say that there exist many probable states simultaneously where either the chicken or the egg were created first, one where neither exists, and one where they are both simultaneously created together.

This is important in understanding the higher self because in accordance with the perceptions of inner alchemy, the higher self is not an object, it is instead sort of like a road. You are not contacting an object out there, instead you are aligning yourself in a certain direction let us say, and as such the higher self is not a thing but it is instead a way.

And beyond this, being that the higher self is not an object but a configuration that one could say is so massive that it is beyond any one individual’s personal perception, each road for each individual is different, unique, and highly personal. And the difference between the road of each individual can be such, that what one person does in order to align themselves with their road, their way, can be completely and utterly different from the alignment of someone else. In that sense then, the road is both individual and not, both states are true simultaneously and complement each other, one could even go as far as saying that neither could exist alone.

A second aspect of the chicken and the egg meta principles that becomes highly important , is that in contemplation of the higher self, questions can arise about higher or lower. What I mean by this is that there can be this very polar black or white defining, bounding, separating that will posit that the higher self, being higher, the sky, remember we are for some reason looking up at this cloud, representing above, must represent in accordance with the symbol-logical picture-words used, good and goodness. Which is then made to fit into the human tribal ideal of what good is and what being good should be going forward.

They may say internally to themselves in a subconscious way, the higher self is higher, therefore it is good, and the theology or the perceived correctness of the times defines goodness as this particular thing only, so this higher self can only tell me to do this, and if it is not saying this then it is not the higher self, and if this other individual is not doing this then they are not good and are not in contact with the higher self. I hope you get what I am trying to say here as it relates to many of the societal problems of the age.

But from an inner alchemist’s point of view such a bounding of high and low can curtail awareness, and such a curtailing can be deadly for them, as they try to navigate the infinity that is denied to the average person that is trapped within the grips of dogma and three dimensional object hood.

As such, the term higher, within the defined term higher self, is incorrect for them, because for them there is only energy, not objects. This is the most difficult thing to come to terms with, and it basically comes down to, from the inner alchemists point of view, that is from their energetic perceptions, there is no higher or lower, there is only energy and energy is neither good or bad, it is,

it is now, and this now is all time, all space, and therefore all possibility.

These are hard concepts to try to put into words because words are not designed to be able to describe, that is to bind with definition, the reality of existence beyond three dimensions. As such it becomes very difficult to define things that are outside of it, and the higher self I believe, by most definitions, is outside the bounding walls of object hood. The best way, the only way, to know is to perceive energy directly yourself, as such the inner alchemist strives from the very beginning to make this a possibility in their lives.

The problems in understanding objects and non-objects, multiple states of existence, such as whether Shrodinger’s cat is alive, dead, or both for example, the potential for causality to go beyond linear time frames, and the difficulties in understanding the potential dual states of particle and wave, will always be an impossibility until you begin to come to terms with the possibility that things can exist in multiple states at the same time, that there are quantum states and that each possible state, whether perceivable by the human physical senses or not, matters, is valid, and is real, as real as anything in the physical world. This I believe is the next state and the ever-expanding human logos, which is happening right now, which will usher in an evolutionary step in human consciousness. And I do believe that a lot of this phenomenological evolution, can be greatly augmented by employing some of the techniques of inner alchemy, specifically the ability to perceive energy directly.

In some of my articles, I have discussed the sometimes Titanic lifeforms that exist out there. I have in my recent article for example, talked about the large and titanic non-organic entities that live in what we would term odd angles, other strange dimensions, that sometimes align in certain dark and anomalous corners to this human dimension which we call the physical. And I have said that such titans may be mildly curious about humanity, that they may be at times even interested in humanity as a kind of simplistic fauna to be exploited to one degree or another.

In other articles I have also mentioned the cubes that can be seen circling or residing within certain physical geographies in our human world at times. I have said that these cubes are on occasion what we have come to call unidentified flying objects, or some of the weird and haunted power spots that some may gravitate to in order to study the paranormal. Whether these cubes are in motion or whether they seem to be stationary from the human point of view, these cubes do seem to focus their attention on certain people, and when they do so, they often initiate highly volatile experiences within the psyche of those unfortunate few, designed to take from those people, sometimes even trap those people permanently, in cube like structures, structures that are themselves these nonorganic lifeforms, and in these structures those unlucky and unwary few, become permanent residents there until they are completely consumed.

One could simply say then that there are many non-organic lifeforms out there, that take many forms and that can be of varying size, and lastly that many of these non-organics, at least the ones that seem to matter to the general human population anyway, tend to be predatory, in that they consider humanity a food resource.

As an inner alchemist, a large percentage of my focus as a still physical human being, is set squarely on the largest of these non-organic and predatory lifeforms in this region of space, which in my writings and videos I have termed the great Archon.

Being that the Archon is a nonorganic, and from our point of view as humans on this planet, a predatory lifeform at that, albeit of titanic proportions, and being that these cubes which I have also mentioned, are also predatory non-organic entities of a smaller size, it is quite natural that many that cannot see these predatory lifeforms directly, might wonder if these cubes and the Archon are the same thing. In other words, many might wonder, are these predatory nonorganic lifeforms, these stationary and flying cubes that I have sometimes discussed, the Archon? Is there a difference between the titan that is the Archon and the cubes in other words?

This is a difficult question to answer simply without first defining the nature of the Archon, so let’s start there.

First of all, I have said that the Archon is a titan beyond measure and that it is non-organic. This means that the Archon is an alive and aware entity, but it does not have an organic, that is biological body, it is from the human perspective pure energy…for the most part. It is heavy and this heaviness feels thick and oppressive in a hard to define way, but it is nonetheless not organic.  It is also quite simply so massive that the whole of it straddles many dimensions, which might be like different history points, different points in the past and future of humanity, so from a rational point of view and relying on the physical senses and modern measurement alone, it quite simply defies any kind of current measurement using standard human understanding of space and time. The best way to think of the Archon is sort of like a large cloud or perhaps like a wave of energy, a river, that is moving across and encircling in a kind of Eddie, the entire planet. And this cloud does not just exist here now, it also exists in other times far back in history, and into the future as well, and yet all of these parts are whole, they are in contact, they are all working together. The Archon is fully aware and in contact with all of itself in all of these dimensions.

If you think of the Archon in this manner, then you can begin to understand some of the massive proportions of it, but you must also understand that the Archon, while it can affect the dimension that we call physicality, it is itself not quite part of this dimension. It is sort of like a shadow that can be seen at times, far more clearly than some would even allow themselves to believe, but this massive shadow is fleeting, and when the shadow is seen, it is seen not so much as a thick fog but as a host of sleek and fleeting other things, a united host of fleeting things.

The reason for this perception by those few brave enough to see it, is that the Archon as I have said in the past, is in essence a host, that is the Archon is legion. What this means is that while the totality of the Archon itself can be said to be like a giant cloud, that hangs over humanity and traps humanity like a dark radiation within a certain low level mental and psychological position, when this un-measurable cloud is perceived by an individual seer, that seer can see that this cloud is made up of a legion of things. The cloud of the Archon therefore is not a fog, it is instead a horde of locust like things, jumping heavy things, that have invaded this region of space-time, and while from a distance such a giant horde might seem to be a cloud, like a horde of locusts may be seen like a cloud from far away, from an individual sense, from our sense as a small race of individuals living on this planet, it is easy to see that the Archon is actually a horde of locusts that jump and crawl and fleet across this dimensional zone we perceive as physicality, and take from it the same way that locusts do, but also far more intelligently, in that in some ways this cloud can be said to be farming us, keeping us within a certain range of energetic motionlessness, that makes it far easier for the legion of it to feed.

Now, if the host of the Archon is legion, then is it the case that the other predatory lifeforms I have spoken about, the cubes that I have mentioned, that are in essence themselves predatory nonorganic beings also. Is it the case that they are themselves part of this legion that is the Archon? Are the predatory nonorganic lifeforms that I have mentioned in my books, specifically my book the vampire’s way to psychic self-defense, part of the host of the Archon. Are the cubes the Archon?

Well, as I have said this can be a difficult question to answer in exact detail, in every case. Generally speaking though, these are two separate orders, meaning that the host of the Archon are, or can be said to be one kind of non-organic, while the predatory nonorganic lifeforms that I have referred to as cubes can be said to be another.

The best way to understand the separation of one from the other, is to note that the Archon, being that it is so titanic in proportions, is in essence concerned with the totality of humanity, and it is therefore trying to exploit the whole of humanity. It is interested in taking from humanity a specific kind of energy resource. A most appropriate way to say this would be to say that the Archon is interested in a certain range of frequencies, while these other predatory nonorganic lifeforms that I have mentioned in the Vampire’s way to psychic self-defense for example, are interested in a different kind of frequency, a very similar frequency but a frequency of a more refined order you might say. The Archon is interested in quantity over quality, while the Predatory Non-organic Beings or cubes are the opposite, they are interested in refined and more specific energy, this is a general rule.

The legion of the Archon has invaded the whole of humanity, it has convinced humanity thanks to the sheer power that it holds, that humanity is a physically and bound three-dimensional creature, a pound of flesh. In many ways you could say that humanity and the Archon are now interlinked and that for the foreseeable future, humanity and the Archon are one and so their evolution through time is almost completely interlocked.

And within that intermingling of the cloud of the Archon and the sum of the human world, the physically obsessed human world, there exists a different order of predators that are incredibly varied in size and complexity. These other lifeforms I have referred to as predatory nonorganic lifeforms in the book mentioned earlier in the article. These other predatory nonorganic lifeforms exist alongside the Archon and like any natural ecosystem have evolved (if we may use that term) to feed on that which the much bigger Archon does not necessarily covet. That is, these other non-organic predators feed on humanity in a similar way to the Archon, but there is variation in them, and sometimes there is even incredible complexity in them, and they use such variations to take from humanity a different kind of energy that tends to usually be more intense, more refined in nature.

For example, some of this life form is as complex as humanity, and indeed some of it is even far more complex. The intellect of some of these incredibly powerful and complex nonorganic lifeforms that are predatory in nature sometimes, means that this other life can instigate very complex and seemingly totally real experiences. This means that its trickery of human consciousness is complex and masterful, and through that consummate trickery they instigate very specific emotional and other types of energetic outbursts that are then collected and consumed.

As an example of this trickery, I have mentioned in the past that this complex nonorganic life might make someone believe that they are encountering some kind of strange criptid like Bigfoot or alien in the middle of nowhere, and then use that illusion, that trickery, to subjugate a human host, instilling within that person strange and complex experiences, that are all meant to instill within that person as much emotional intensity of a very specific kind as possible, that is then consumed ruthlessly by these beings. Trapped within the machinations of such experiences, people will go into different levels of shock, and this incredible brilliance of emotion, is then collected by these nonorganic predatory lifeforms and consumed.

At other times, such specialized nonorganic lifeforms may even seek out very specific individual human beings, because these special few may possess a far richer energetic output. Average humanity is often aware of how some people may seem to be the continual targets of such odd and strange beings like poltergeists, men in black, or the like, and may note or even write about such strange occurrence and the suffering of these people. These are most often naturally gifted people who must deal with their natural gifts and the curse of this extra unrecognized energy. But what is seldom known by the general population is that there are also far more proficient humans, that have trained themselves to work on their energetic makeup, and these humans are also highly coveted by complex non-organic predators because of that refinement. Usually, such specialized nonorganic predatory lifeforms seek practitioners of certain occult traditions therefore, because such practitioners have developed an increased energetic flow that makes them highly sought-after as a resource, and as potential allies of a sort.

It is the case then that such complex nonorganic predators are only interested in very specific energy types, that they contact either through strange machinations, or that they make pacts and agreements with, in the case of contacts with highly potent energetic human occult practitioners.

So, to answer the question posed at the beginning of this article, the Archon is one order of thing and the predatory non-organic beings I have also discussed are of another.

To make this clearer I can say moreover that we humans are not some apex creatures in a rather simplistic idea of what we referred to as the physical world. We do indeed exist within a large jungle of sorts, a large ecosystem of predator and prey of amazingly beautiful synergistic complexity. But within such a complex system, of truly infinite beauty even though it might not seem the case sometimes, there are higher orders of life that are wholly unsuspected by the rational human world, and that other life feeds on us in the same way that we might feed on cattle, as is the case when we speak of the Archon, or that feed on us like big game hunters hunting big and powerful game in some dark forest or a wild plane somewhere as is the case when it comes to the cubes that I have mentioned.

I know that this is a hard topic, and one that is very difficult for many to take. Most of us have moved so far away from our natural origins, that it is difficult for many of us to even contemplate the fact that the whole of the world takes from other things to eat and survive, that all takes and gives to endure, and furthermore that such an ecosystem, such a complex structure, is not only infinitely beautiful and completely balanced in its design, but that it also holds within it beings of a higher order than us, that sometimes feed on us as we must take from others to feed ourselves.

For many, this is a hard topic because of this ingrained belief that we humans stand on top of some giant mountain, looking down on the rest of the world as some kind of conquering force. We are indeed highly complex and beautiful beings that are far, I repeat far, more powerful than we could ever imagine from a rational point of view. But we are not an apex predator, we are instead intermingled deeply within a complex order, an ecosystem as it were of vast and unsuspected proportions, where we feed from some but where there are also others…that feed from us.

You may have heard the term, inner monologue. This is perhaps one of the more popular terms for something that might also be called internal dialogue, which basically boils down to the constant chitchat that we seem to have going on all the time in our heads.

In this article I wish to address this inner monologue and give an explanation from the inner alchemist’s point of view, that hopefully will help people that have been interested in this internal talk, because of average concerns about how this constant monologue might affect their daily life, but also help those that are interested in more occult or spiritual practices and are interested in how this inner monologue, this internal dialogue, stops them from perceiving and working with the true magic all around them. I think that the inner alchemist’s point of view can help here because in its generally logical approach to most of the topics that it works with, it might allow in its clarity, to bridge the gap between different mindsets, different belief structures about the nature of reality, and allow both sides, those only interested in the objective world view and those interested in greater aspects of reality, to see how this inner monologue is quite simply the most powerful thing in our lives, no matter how we interpret the nature of personal and mass reality.

Before we can do that, we must clarify what inner monologue means, and I do believe that this is very important because there are many people out there who do not believe they have an inner monologue, or that take it for granted that they have such a thing as an internal dialogue but have not thus far perceived it, perceived the functioning of it in their lives as it transforms their lives through its constant chatter. It must be clearly understood that all people have an inner monologue, indeed you might say that the inner monologue is what keeps our world stable, it is what keeps our individual version of reality and our consensual human world stable within the individual’s field of perception and action, and what keeps the mass of the species stable and accessible to all those that share a similar internal dialogue. And finally, that while the average person might believe that this inner monologue is the result of external reality, that is the inner monologue is created by the out there, by the perceptions of the out there, inner alchemist’s along with others that share spiritual and similar occult inclinations believe that the opposite is the case. That is, that those that believe that the inner monologue and reality are far more nuanced and point to spiritual origins, do indeed believe, that it is an inner part of us that creates the monologue, that it is an inner filter that has its source within us before it can in any way be shaped by things outside of ourselves, in essence that the inner creates the outer and not the other way around.

But before we get to such distinctions, it is best that we begin defining these terms, in accordance with different tiers of personal belief and understanding.

If you are more into spiritual or occult practices, you might have heard different terms for this inner monologue, the most popular of which might I suppose be something like internal dialogue, or perhaps talking to yourself. Others with a more outward focus might have heard about this inner monologue due to different psychological studies that point to the general makeup of human consciousness. But whatever the case, we can begin on a similar footing. So, from whatever perceptive position, to explain what internal dialogue is, it becomes very easy to explain it if we think of it as a stream of dialogue in our heads, that is we imagine that it is our endless talking to ourselves in our heads. This is a good definition because this is in essence what we are doing, we are constantly communicating to ourselves, mirroring the nature of our beliefs about reality, of our perceived version of reality, our world view, our reality tunnel, to ourselves in a nonstop fashion, so that we are endlessly repeating what we believe to be. This is a general and good definition of inner monologue.

In that sense then, when we used terms like dialogue or monologue or talking to ourselves, we can easily understand what this means generally. This understanding works well whether you believe in the more spiritual aspects of reality or whether you believe that reality is more object like, because this set of terms basically means quite simply the endless talk that we do in our heads, the endless talk that we have with ourselves about the nature of reality.

Now, because of the terms used, like monologue or dialogue, we tend to imagine right off that this is quite literally a voice that we hear in our heads, and it is there and for that reason, because of the tricky nature of words, that many of us might have difficulty in understanding how this monologue relates to us personally. The reason for this is that we may expect to hear that voice as it is described by that term, inner monologue, or internal dialogue. We might expect that we will be hearing a little voice in our ear perhaps, and sometimes failing to do so we might believe that we do not have this kind of inner monologue, or we might believe that we do not have a strong monologue, that we might be special somehow or different, and that our particular version of this monologue might not hold the kind of power over us that it might over others.

This is a big mistake of course because we all have this inner monologue, that is we all engage in talking to ourselves, but by saying that we are just talking to ourselves we are greatly simplifying what is going on, and due to this oversimplification that has a great deal to do with the kinds of words used, the way that we try to share dogmatic information with each other, we may fail to understand how this talking to ourselves really works and how much of an effect it has in our lives.

There are many people that do indeed hear a monologue to some degree depending on how awake they are to this monologue. That is, they do not actually hear a little voice in their heads most of the time, but what they do experience is kind of word like or like an odd stream of words that may seem to almost be telling them what to do, describing the world to them, in a linear way that if they think about it might resemble the way that they might read text on a book. This is in essence their version, of the endlessly repeating loop of their personal reality tunnel, their belief system, their inherent beliefs about the nature of reality, their personal version of reality in accordance with what they know they have experienced thus far. What this means is basically that they have a more auditory type of monologue. That is, they seem to hear things in a kind of way, they tend to experience things in a sequential linear order sort of like text on a page perhaps, and they tend to be cognizant of a great deal of the things that happen within their minds in that kind of auditory or word like structural way.

There are other types of people that might not experience this monologue in an auditory like way, but instead they sort of see this monologue, that is they tend to perceive and order the things in their minds in a more visual manner, meaning that they might separate things into different idea pictures, and these idea pictures might occupy different spaces within their minds, or these different mental actions that form the basis of awareness might happen in a sequential structure that has one picture idea after another picture idea, or that might have picture ideas superimposed before them in the same way that we might see different windows on a computer or a tablet, that then allows for this visual, this picture idea way, of structuring what it is that is happening in their minds and how it is that they perceive most of reality in general.

There may be other people even that tend to feel such perceptions. They may structure and perceive those things that are happening internally in a more feeling way, that is they may feel their way across the vistas of their mind and in that way structure their idea of the world in a more feeling like way, so that certain feelings allow for certain perceptions and certain organizations to be made, that then may allow them to get more of a feel for what they think is going on in accordance to that belief structure that is in essence the foundation of all inner monologue.

These are the three basic ways that we may structure and perceive our inner monologue, but there are subtle combinations of the above and it may even be that certain things may be experienced in one way, while other things may be experienced in subtle combinations of others. For example, it might be that certain people might experience the perceptions and the memories of music in a more feeling like way while other things for them might be more visual in nature, like when they think about physical art or certain kinds of mass media. It is the case that we may also combine an auditory like way with a visual way or feeling like way, and intermingle these in different amounts to create our own specific way of communicating with ourselves; our own individual and highly personal inner monologue.

I mention this here because it is very important to understand that we all have this inner monologue, and calling it inner monologue may make it seem like it is some kind of little voice that you hear, or some kind of wording that you might experience because of the fact that the way we describe this inner perception tends to favor a more auditory way of perception and structure, due to the fact that we communicate through words and therefore in an auditory kind of way. But this monologue is in essence quite a structured and complex affair at times that may be very difficult to grasp as it is happening, and therefore it can be quite difficult to figure out just how this monologue is happening to you personally. What I mean by this is that catching the inner monologue within ourselves is sort of like catching ourselves having a dream or a daydream.

You may have noticed that you are seldom consciously awake in a way within dreams. For the most part we tend to remember dreams after we wake up, but while in them, even though a part of us does seem to be awake within them, we are very seldom lucid within them, we are most often remembering them after they have happened, it is sort of like remembering something you did while you were drunk, and this is the reason why many people might keep a dream journal. If you are and have been quite aware of your flow of thoughts, then you may have noticed that this also happens while you are daydreaming, that you are not actually fully yourself in that daydream somehow, that you often need to look back at it to remember it and be fully conscious of all that happened while in the midst of it. We are very seldom conscious to the stream of our thoughts as they are happening. For that reason, most of us tend to have difficulty in noticing our inner monologue as it cascades across our minds. We are most often remembering or reacting in retrospect to a flow that is most often too quick for us to grasp fully as it is happening.

A person can though if they are vigilant, using some of the techniques that I have discussed in my books, begin to perceive some of this monologue within themselves, which as I have said might take the form of picture words or feeling like auditory intuitions in a multiplicity of different ways, and if they are truly vigilant, they might notice how this flow seems to move outwardly somehow, from the inner to the outer, and in that way filter the nature of their overall reality.

As I mentioned at the start of the article, the most powerful thing in our lives is this inner monologue, and for that reason it is very important that we begin to become conscious of it and that we understand that if we do not try to at least control the volume of it, the flow of it, this inner monologue will continue to shape our lives unconsciously, that is without our conscious understanding of why it is that our lives are the way that they are.

If you are not someone who believes in any kind of spiritual or occult practice, you may feel that this inner monologue is not important, or that it is less important than many might imagine, at least in your life. But the reality is that everything that we do and many of the things that we feel, perhaps most of the things that most people do and feel, is the result of this internal monologue.

You might think that what you feel is a response to outer causal, that is cause and effect things that are happening beyond you in the exterior world. You might think that you might see something, or you might experience something and because of that you feel what you feel about things because of that thing that happened out there, and there is some validity to this. But it must also be understood that just like catching a dream in the process of that dream or catching this monologue in the process of it, it is also hard to experience the world head on and with a blank slate as it were. Most often we are reacting to the world not in a direct and present way, but instead we are reacting to the world in accordance to what we believe about the world, a good way to say this would be to say that we believe that the world is the map of the world, the map that we have created for ourselves of the world, instead of the actual world, instead of the actual territory. As Alfred Korzybski said, “The map is not the territory”, our map, our filter of the world, is not the actual world, even our reaction to what we think the world is, is not a pure reaction to the world because we are filtering that world through that map and we are also providing a response in accordance to that map as well, and therefore our response to that idea of the world is also not pure and direct. This is crucial to all understanding of the true reality of essence, whether you believe an objective reality only or whether you believe in a more spiritual world view. In my writings I often write about this by talking about belief structures, about how important they are, how they create our entire world. But as you read or hear about this from me, you might not understand how it is that beliefs can change reality, can color reality. Well, how all of this happens is through the inner monologue.

Even if you do not believe in the power of the mind to change the world from a more arcane and ‘thoughts are things’ kind of perspective, it is important to note that what we believe about what might happen, must be happening, is how we perceive what is happening. Let me repeat that because it is very important, what we believe about what might happen is how we perceive what is happening.

For that reason, it is quite possible for two people to see the same thing but perceive the essence of that thing in completely different ways. As an example, we might contemplate two people that are standing right beside each other and looking at what objectively would seem to be a simple apple. You would think that both people would see the apple clearly and being that most inner monologue is very coherent and similar between people, especially people from the same cultural tradition, they would both be seeing the same thing with no deviation whatsoever. But, there are subtle differences, and those differences do matter, all puns intended. And this difference in subjective experience does matter because it goes about creating an external kind of experience because of it, that can turn into quite objective matter, actually measurable matter. But again even if you do not believe that such a thing is possible, you must realize that even the subjective nature of each individual monologue can so color the nature of an external thing like this apple, to the point that these two different people might be perceiving subjectively incredibly different things, and in that subjective difference there is the possibility for a great diversity of action that then becomes objective reality one way or another. The subjective matters in other words, and this is something that some rationalists sometimes refused to acknowledge.

In this case, one person might see the apple let us say, and instantly see in a subjective sense within their minds, in accordance with their inner monologue, incredible growth, beauty, and a delicious treat that is both healthy and alive. Another person seeing the same apple at the same time might see in accordance with their individual monologue, pollution or corrosion and might experience a far different view of reality in general, that may then make them act quite physically in a completely different way. What is happening here is that both people are experiencing in the outer world a causal event, a seemingly from the rational point of view outer experience, that in this case is characterized as an apple being placed before them. But they are both, due to their inner monologue, perceiving and structuring their perceptions completely differently due to the map that they have about the actual territory.

This monologue that might be visual, that might mean pictures or flashes of whole concrete things, windows in their minds eye, may mirror the apple that they see with their physical eyes, so that they might see the apple with their physical eyes and in a flash so quick that it might go completely beyond conscious awareness, they might see a picture in their heads that might enliven them and put them in a good mood, or do the opposite.

This inner monologue is real, it happens to all of us, and it gives us the structure of our reality, it keeps clear and alive the created map of our territory, it constantly and endlessly feeds to us our personal belief structures. Understanding the fact that we all have this monologue and understanding the fact that this monologue can be a difficult thing to catch ourselves in the middle of, it becomes highly important to learn to work with this monologue when we start to make the connections between that monologue and the nature of our perceptions, and further how these perceptions, through subjective states, go about creating our seemingly objective reality.

This is especially the case if you do feel that the nature of all reality, the actual physical world, has a basis that is far deeper than just an outer physical one of limited rational cause and effect perspectives. That is, if you believe that there is in inner more subtle and complex reality that creates the outer world.

The reason for this is that if thoughts do have the power to transmute, to manifest some or perhaps even all of the things that make up personal existence, to one degree or another, then how this monologue happens within ourselves and what the nature of this particular monologue might be for us as individuals and as a species, is very important, all important not only in how we may perceive and structure the world, but also how we create our own individual and mass world from the inside out.

The inner monologue is a very powerful thing. This internal dialogue is what literally makes our world, but the nature of this dialogue is as complex as any dream that we might have, were symbols and different perceptive picture ideas, almost inaudible words, and perceptive feelings of the most nuanced kind come together to put a filter before us and explain a deeper inner truth in a way that we might understand more easily. To put it in another way, the inner monologue of most people is simple because it is a good way for us to grow, it is sort of like a safe playground for us to grow and develop, but as we grow, deep within ourselves we all strive for greater knowledge and greater perceptions, and this is at its core a deep desire within us to expand the nature of this monologue, and make it more complex and understandable to us at the same time.

We are ready for a more complex monologue, a monologue that can understand just how powerful this mirroring of our belief structure to ourselves is, and how by learning to stand in the flow of it and perceive it, and by in that way learning to manipulate it as we face it directly, we can begin to understand the nature of reality in a far deeper and more powerful way.
